We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains on the deck, cooked a family meal in the well stocked kitchen, roasted s’mores by the fire, soaked in the clean hot tub with mountain views and slept soundly on the comfortable beds. We 100% recommend this cabin and would love to return.
This was a beautiful cabin for a family trip. We loved the coziness and location of the cabin and will definitely consider a return trip! I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Kamas, UT!
This was our family's first trip to Utah and our children's first time for most snow related activities. This cabin was perfect for our vacation. It was secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of Park City, but still conveniently located and close by. It was easy to find per the directions. Beautifully located in its own little valley. It was exactly as the owner described. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Had a wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat!
Gorgeous setting and very comfortable cabin. Loved the big views and easy location. Comfortable beds and nice decor. Loved the hot tub and wrap around deck. Especially loved bringing our dog and using all the amenities. Fire up the canyon was tricky, but we found a nice hike outside the zone. Would love to come back!
Pictures don’t do this place justice. We were so pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again.
The home was a perfect launching pad for Park City and other outdoor activities, not to mention the amazing views all around the property. Very clean and had everything we needed. Several great dining options in Kamas as well. Would love to be back.
This was the perfect getaway in a very lovely cabin. The views were breathtaking and you can see that the hosts really thought of everything to keep their guests comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub while taking in the snowy mountain scene. We had no issues at all and would love to stay here again the next time we visit this area!
Property is one of the best weve ever stayed at. It is the most fully equipped place ever, down to the tiniest detail of even having anything you could think of forgetting from ziploc bags to toys for kids. It was clean, decorated so cute, the beds were comfy and we seriously loved every minute.
Our three night stay was a wonderful experience! The place was clean, cozy, new and well stocked- the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed! The owner has thought of everything you might want or need during your stay. Everything was in good working order and well taken care of! We were quite comfortable and felt at home. The views are amazing! It snowed everyday we were there and it was magical! The maintenance guy came every day to clear off the steps and clear access to the hot tub which is only a few steps from the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub -it was private with beautiful views. Beach towels were available for use. The Bbq grill was clean and worked great! This vrbo owner thought of everything! We will definitely come back again!
This area is perfect. Close to restaurants and a grocery store but secluded enough to feel like you are on your own enjoying solitude in the mountains. A very charming and cozy home with everything you need. We LOVED it. We will be back again!
Our stay at the cabin was amazing! We loved the open space inside to sit around and chat, the kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals, the porch which has the view of your dreams, and the hot tub to relax each night. Our 1 yo loved roaming the house and playing in the yard while our two dogs ran around the property playing endless amounts of fetch. We will be back!
Easy access from Mirror lake highway. Comfortable beds, and furnishings. Quiet location. Can hear highway traffic while outside, but not bothersome. Flat grass area for kids to play. One possible downside is their is no bathroom in basement, and the second floor bathroom is only accessable from the bedroom. We loved our stay and would book this cabin again.
Great cabin for access to Uinta Mountains and Kamas area.
My family was thrilled with the cabin and the relative close location to Uinta Mountain destinations along the Mirror Lake highway. The cabin was very clean and updated. We really enjoyed the view from the deck and jumping in the hot tub following days of exploring, kayaking and fishing at various nearby mountain locations. The host was extremely helpful and accommodative. Look no further for a great base for vacation or long weekend fun.
We were so pleasantly surprised at this home near Kamas. It was a cozy cabin, and refreshingly decorated. Beds and linens were very comfortable, all appliances worked well, plenty of room to sleep and spread out, with lots of extra seating on the deck with a killer view! Kitchen was EXCEPTIONALLY well stocked, especially if you are a coffee snob. The hot tub was just a few shorts steps from the cabin & nice for reading after a long hike or drive.
Check in and out was simple and host was as responsive as needed. Our only bump in the road was not finding the bins for the trash as we left, so we carried it home with us.
I would definitely stay here with family again. I feel lucky that it was available!
If I were to buy a log cabin and modernize it, this cabin would have been my dream. I was so surprised at how cozy, bright and well thought out it was.
We stayed a couple days with our 8 month old who is learning to eat solids and the cabin was well stocked with kid friendly utensils bowls and even a nice high chair.
We loved that it wasn’t too far from civilization but felt so secluded while you were in the cabin. Every detail was thoughtful and tasteful.
Krista and her team were very responsive and happy to work with us on a slightly earlier than usual check in. (Our little guy needed a place to nap.)
The hot tub is under a gazebo which helped with some of the windy cold snow that was coming down when we were there.
Loved our stay and would definitely stay there again!
The cabin felt secluded yet close to anything we needed, which was fantastic. Sam, the maintenance guy, was excellent. He had the driveway plowed and steps shoveled off every day it snowed. He even cleared a path to the hot tub! The space was adequate/cozy and decor very cute. The radiant heated floors were great, but we actually got hot several times, even though the temps were in the teens. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the hot tub! There were some unfortunate cons. The mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable. That alone was enough to make us not stay here again. Back aches every morning are not part of the vacation plan. The internet/TV was sketchy, but I believe that was due to the general location. The dryer was broken and awaiting parts, which caused it to make a horribly loud noise, so you had to time laundry when away. The gas fireplace was difficult to light, but we eventually figured it out with Sam's help. We also had some issues with the keypad door lock on the last two days. Depending on your needs, this may or may not be the cabin for you.
We loved our stay! Very clean and welcoming! Loved that the cabin had everything we needed and more! We loved riding our ATV’s in Soapstone’s beautiful scenery!

What makes this property unique
Excellent location within 15 minutes of the Uinta national park and 20 minutes from world class ski resorts. Kamas itself is a charming town with boutique restaurants and excellent activities.
