Location was great, but one bed collapsed the first night and when we looked under the bed there was quite a bit of trash that had not been cleaned out. But again, couldn't beat the location.
A very nice property, and was a 3 minute walk tot he Beach. Very spacious for large groups to where you are not on top of each other. Very nice up to date Kitchen, TV's, Bathrooms are all very nice. Large Dining area for 6. Very convenient to Destin Harbor Area.Only recommendations for upgrade is a more comfortable couch sitting area. It is outdated and not comfortable.Nice outside sitting area but decking and stairs needs to be cleaned and improved.Only other thing for future booking guest when reviewing please consider the number of stairs to be used if there is elderly in your group or thos who might have problems going up & down stairs. It would be tough for them. But this is a place I would stay at again for sure.
The property is one of the most cost effective places you will find for the beach house you want. Be aware that the walk you need to make to get to the beach doesn't seem that far when looking at the map, but it is soft sand and dunes that can make it a very difficult walk for those with mobility issues. Make sure you are in decent shape for the journey.
Pet friendly, wonderful location with beautiful views from multiple floors. Will go there again.

Older property There has been some updates and some not. The furniture is old and showing a lot of wear and tear. The beds are not comfortable at all in any room. The supplies in the kitchen are very limited. The toiletries are a joke. I still don’t know what was in those tubes in that box. NO PRIVACY homes all around. We stayed six days and when I got home, my legs were so sore and hurting from going up three flights of stairs several times a day. The plus side is nice towels and bedding. A nice huge deck. The bathroom in the 2nd bedroom was beautiful. And a partial view of the ocean. from 2 different rooms. The dining room had a huge HEAVY table. It showed signs of wear and tear. But it made me think about how many people have sit around that table for years and made a beautiful memory. So the table has character. I wouldn’t recommend for the money they charge. And I would not book again.
The place was beautiful. The sand was gorgeous. Walking to the beach was easy and the water was amazing. My friends enjoyed that they had a private bathroom in all the rooms. I would stay here again.
Amazing property!
Up to date everything, super clean and amazing views!
Easily the best place we’ve stayed yet!
We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!
Fairly close to water, you will get your daily steps in for sure. Beautiful location. Very tight in the back due to a fence a couple feet from property, can't get a beach buggy out. Overall we still give it a 5 star. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean.
Everything was amazing. The only "problem" we had was with the Emerald Grand people and their claiming the beach, but it worked out because there is a nicer area away from those folks and their blue chairs a little farther down the beach. Will totally stay here again!!
Beautiful spacious property that came with everything we need to enjoy our stay. Property is three levels...king room on 1st level, main area on the 2nd level and 2 king rooms on the 3rd level. Beautiful views of the beach from the main level and the 3rd level. Location is ideal for resturants and attractions...short drive to the outlets. Family friendly location.
The unit was spacious and clean. It was a short path walk through the dunes to a beautiful private beach. We had beach chairs and an umbrella proceeded. It was a wonderful week.

This property is nothing like the pictures make it out to be people walking through our patio to get to the beach all hours of the day and night not very satisfied
It’s always a worry that “pet friendly” will smell bad and this rental did not smell bad. They also provided 3 beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. 5 min walk to the beach. The beach area was awesome with low waves so it was great for floating. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Drip coffee pot but no Keurig which was fine for us. Beds were super comfortable!! Showers had great water pressure! We had a great stay!
The inside of the property was great but the surroundings were not. The outside beachfront was not taken care of and there was a chain link fence that was not shown in the pictures. Lots of trash and weeds. The view was great and all in all we had a wonderful month.
Our stay at Dolphin Cave was an excellent break from the pandemic. We (a family of four) enjoyed our stay at a beautiful townhouse with the beach as our back yard and an amazing unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. The townhouse was in a quiet and serene community. Bedrooms were large and comfortable; all with private bathrooms and large TV’s. The three-story townhouse was equipped with everything that you could imagine.

Five Star Properties
Awesome house, plenty of room, everything you would need. not much parking area. There is a garage but if you have two full size trucks parking one in the garage is out of the question.
Overall, the house is nice and clean. However, while we were expecting a little bit of a walk down the path to the beach, it wasn’t mentioned that you have to walk even further down the beach to get a spot. The spot at the end of the path is private and we were asked to move on down the beach after getting all set up. We texted the property contact and they said this was “odd” to be asked to move. So I’m not sure where the miscommunication lies. This long walk to the “public access” beach made it almost unbearable for my mother in law and two toddlers. Not to mention, a pontoon brings loads of people back and forth to this “private” beach area - it was quite crowded. With that said, the house is good, but we wouldn’t stay again due to the beach inconveniences.
