Welcome to your own hideaway in our lovely mountain town! Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is just over half a mile away, perfect for guests looking to enjoy powder! Winter guests can also enjoy Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and Timberline Lodge and Ski Area, both within seven-and-a-half miles. The hikers of the group will love being within 11 miles of Mt. Hood National Forest, as well as its trails right across the street. You’re also within a short distance of the Mirror Lake Trailhead, Glacier View Trailhead, Powerlines Trail, and so much more.

Take a load off in front of the gas fireplace or set up a board game at the window side table - there's plenty of seating for everyone to relax. If you're arriving in time for dinner, fire up the private gas grill out on the balcony and enjoy a wide view of the forest. Throw your trail socks in the private washer/dryer, then sink into a bath in the main bathroom's soaking tub. The full kitchen is full of useful tools when you’re ready to cook, including a range hood, warming drawer, and full-size dishwasher. There are plenty of wine glasses for anyone who wants some bubbly and a breakfast bar perfect for quick pre-skiing breakfasts in the morning. Escape to the loft for a true ski cabin experience - though younger guests of the group will enjoy relaxing in the bunk room. Summer visitors will be happy to relax in central air conditioning, and guests of all seasons can enjoy access to a shared hot tub and a shared heated pool during their stay.

Great Ski Trip with the Family
Wonderful top-floor unit in Government Camp super close to the slopes. Stayed here as part of a spring break ski trip with our two young kids (first time skiers) and it was wonderful. Super clean place with responsive hosts in a great location. Thanks for having us!

Easy and comfortable
For the most part, we loved this condo. It was comfortable, well stocked and close to skiing and restaurants. The main room was large with a fireplace and there were lots of cozy places to sit and read. Before I booked, I asked about some dim lighting reviews I'd seen and was told it had been addressed. I think it probably was better, but it was still hard to get reading quality light in the main room. On our departure day we needed an extra half hour for my son to finish a remote class, and they were responsive and generous, texting back right away to grant us an extra 30 minutes at no charge. Our only real complaint was the wi-fi. It was spotty and we wanted to resolve the issue before our son's class. Vacasa was responsive at first (by text, which was super convenient) but they never closed the loop with us. Throughout our stay, wi-fi and cable were very glitchy. *Highly recommend getting groceries on your way into town as there are no larger stores once you're in Government Camp. We stopped at a Thriftway on the way from Portland.

Beautiful Property
This is a lovely home on a beautiful property, and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that we couldn’t get the fireplace to turn on and the property management folks were not helpful (I’d stayed at the property previously and we had similar fireplace issues).

NYE getaway
Loved our time at this place. The open layout was great to hangout and watch tv, play games, do puzzles and eat family meals at the big table. We hope to come again!
