Ernie Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands is a cozy, tiny cabin located just 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. It offers access to a private hot tub, a furnished back deck, and a covered front deck with a charcoal grill. In addition, there is a shared fire pit for you to enjoy during your stay. The natural surroundings are incredibly charming and memorable. With a main bedroom and a sleeping loft, Ernie can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.

Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. Our stay was excellent. The cabin was cute and very clean. The community if cabins was very nice. We enjoyed a walk around the property the evening we stayed and again the next morning. The privacy around the hot tub was a plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Winter break

The cabin was absolutely perfect for my family. Our plan was to see Rock City, Ruby Falls, Tennessee Aquarium and Racoon Caverns. The cabin couldn’t have been a better location to all attractions. Will definitely stay again.

Conveniently Located

Clean and well furnished. Perfect for a couple. Conveniently located to explore the sites and attractions of the Chattanooga area. Restaurants, hiking trails, Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls were all within a 10-20 minute drive.

Long weekend getaway

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Check in and check out…simple. Location was within 15 mins of everything, activities and food. Private hot tub may it easy to relax for our stay. Exactly what we were hoping for. Definitely on our list of places to stay.

Chattanooga Trip

The Ernie was a lovely "tiny" cabin. Very well appointed for the two of us! We chose the location for it's proximity to my cousin's brewery! It was our first time in TN, and the entire experience was great!

Nice unit, hot tub extremely clean. Actually saw the maintenance draining the hot tub next door!

I would recommend staying in Ernie Unit. It is at the back of the neighborhood and only has one neighbor. The unit has a lovely view of the forest! I would stay again. Well maintained and Great Location!

The perfect get-away.

We loved our cabin. It was very clean and met all our needs. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Its tucked away nicely from the hustle and bustle of city life. Yes, there is an active train track close by but we were not phased by it at all. We will definitely book here again!

Great getaway

This was a clean environment. Family friendly with a playground. Train went through quietly and didn't hear it at night. The first night we stayed it stormed bad enough to knock down limbs and trees. The property managers was quick to react with the cleanup and it was all clear the same day. They was concerned about the well being of the visitors and check to make sure everyone was ok. I will definitely stay again.

Great cabin

The location is great! Very close to Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain. The cabin was spotless. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and instantly felt right at home. I can't say enough about how clean it was. That is a very important factor for me and this cabin did not disappoint one bit! The size was perfect for my husband and me for the weekend. The hosts thought of everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. The binder of information and activities/recommendations was outstanding! It was very helpful and I wish we had more time to do more of what was suggested. The contactless check in/check out process was super easy. We had a great weekend stay here!

Great Rental

This was the perfect house for our family. So cute and a great location. We were right by Ruby Falls and close to downtown. The hot tub was a perfect touch. Thanks for a great mini vacation!

Quiet retreat

My fiance and I wanted an easy vacation with our doggo. It was so easy to get to dog friendly destinations (such as Rock City) from the cabin. It was a bit hard to make the turn into the area though.

We have visited Chattanooga a few times. Great new way to stay! We were so close to downtown, only a few minutes away. Quiet and relaxing. Nice change from busy hotels!

GREAT TINY CABIN

Everything was great. Easy access upon arrival. Very very clean. Love the front patio with the hot tub in the back. A/C works greats as I am a person that has hot flashes at night so I like it cold. This cabin is far enough away that the train is not that loud. Liked that you they offer hand soap in the kitchen and bath room. I was worried my husband was going to be to tall he is 6'5 but he could stand in the shower though he said he didnt have much head room. The kitchen had everything you need if you did want to go out and cook. The cabin was close to everything. Most definitey coming back.

Lovely cabin

Nice cabin. No view. So many weeds for walking my dog. No steps into the hot tub for a woman that walks with a cane. But inside is very very nice. I would stay again
