Located off-highway on exclusive quiet Malibu Road, this 2 bedroom/2 bath offers incredible views, private parking, and peaceful bliss. We do allow dogs with prior approval. Dog Rent is $50 per night per dog if accepted.

This condo was not very clean and had a bad odor to it that wouldn’t go away. The key to the gas fire place was missing so we couldn’t use it. The linens could use a refresh. For the price I would not recommend staying here. The location on the beach was nice but the place needs some TLC.

Guest over maxed out the number of persons for this space. Should have gotten a larger unit to fit his families needs. Guest tampered with the gas and we had to call a plumber to turn off.

The condo was great! As expected - amazing views, great location, and we had everything we needed. Our host was great and responded to any questions we had, which were few. We saw dolphin off shore a few times and some great sunsets too. Would definitely enjoy returning for another stay!

Malibu Road

Absolutely loved the location. Being on Malibu Road makes it easy to come and go on a mellow street. The view is amazing, the deck is literally over the water at high tide and at low tide you can walk all the way to the Malibu Pier. We saw dolphins swimming by everyday. I’m a runner and so it was nice to just go out the door and run on Malibu Road. The location to restaurants and shopping is ideal.

Best location in Malibu

Stayed with my family in early August. Property is in a prime Malibu location on a quiet road off of PCH and close to Malibu Country Market. Beach is literally at your feet. Condo is very nice and clean. Beautiful, well stocked kitchen. Large tvs in every room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Only complaint was that hallway to get to the condo could be refreshed.

The hallway to the condo is outdoors 10ft from the ocean by city code. It can not be enclosed due to city code for a fire exit in case of emergency.

Incredible location with Incredible view

From the moment we arrived at this incredibly clean, well appointed home, we were happy and most importantly impressed with its view. The home sits on the water and the deck is an incredible place to sit and be mesmerized by the beauty of the ocean and its inhabitants. Although there was construction in neighboring homes, we never heard a thing but the ocean's waves crashing onto the shore. There is a full grocery store within 2 miles away and easy access to the PCH. We will definitely return next year.

Malibu Getaway

The house was fantastic. Close to everything, yet secluded. The beach was awesome with manicured sand and dolphins swimming by more common than not. The views from the deck were incredible. You couldn’t have gotten any closer to the water. I think there was about 2 feet from the end of our deck to the water at high tide. And, what was most remarkable, early in the week in the morning the beach was almost deserted. Just an amazing experience. The house was well stocked with dishes, bowls, pots and pans, utensils, towels, beach and deck chairs and lounges. The furniture and rugs looked new. The beds were so comfortable. It looked as though the washer and dryer were recently purchased. The house was very clean. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property.

Beautiful Location, Disruptive Construction

The location is amazing, the check-in was by far the most clear, easiest check-in process ever. Spotted dolphins every day!! House is nice, kitchen is well equipped, as are the bathrooms which even included make-up remover wipes which I thought was a nice touch. However.. When I booked the listing said construction was occurring during Oct - Dec '23. My stay was in May '24. Very loud construction occured right outside (sawing concrete amongst other things.) Starting around 8am concluding around 5pm.. even on Saturday morning. I messaged the owner on Wednesday inquiring about the construction and got no response. Messaged him again Thursday about the construction and that the listing only mentions construction during Oct - Dec '24, not May of 24.I was basically told, they were there due to flood damage, there's nothing he can do, but could have someone talk to the construction workers.. and that I was already getting a discounted rate compared to last May... Had the listing been honest about the construction, I wouldn't have booked there. So the peaceful ocean sounds were dulled by not just loud construction, but loud construction workers...

Malibu

We came in when the sun was already down in the evening. Checked out the place and opened the balcony that overlooked the beach and ocean. It was breathtaking. The view was what we ended up paying for. The lock to the glass door was broken and wouldn't lock the doors onto the balcony. I contacted Marc and he went on Amazon and bought 2 rods to secure the doors that were delivered the following day. The side of the kitchen island where the sink was had a piece of wood that needed to be nailed back because the plywood was not secure and needed some nails to hold it back into place. Whoever did the renovation needed to tidy it up a little bit. We told the maintenance guy about it so hopefully he had fixed that after we left. Both shower drains were bad and water did not flow down properly. When we were taking showers we had to be careful that the water wouldn't overflow onto the bathroom floors. Master bed needs new springs as it was creaking whenever you moved. However the rooms were clean and the sheets and pillows were good. Again the location and the view more then made up for everything else. We spent most of our time on the balcony gazing into the sunset and sunrise. It was very nice.

Thanh is one of those guests who wanted a discounted and we would not give in. None of the problems listed above could be replicated. The door locks just fine, they are butterfly doors and he did not know how to lock. They would not let us in to show. The drains worked just fine. The Asian family cooked fish and plugged the sink. We pulled fish bones out of the sink. These are all user errors and we do not give discounts or give in to these types.

This place was an absolute gem. Quiet street in Malibu and not to far from Malibu Marketplace with plenty of shopping and eating. Marc (the host) was excellent. If you are lucky enough to find this place not booked, hurry up and book it!

Malibu peaceful retreat

The location is just perfect and the property lovely. My husband and I were in need of a few quiet and peaceful days where we could just unwind, relax and stare at the magnificent Pacific.
