I recognize that I was not staying at a 5 star hotel. However I would like to compliment Susan for all of her service. The flat offered all I needed and more. I must also say Ames was amazing and I believe the location helped me have a superb experience. Walking distance to all that downtown has to offer. Fantastic farmers market, consert in the band shell, and possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten at Great Plains Sauce and Dough Company.Please reach out to Susan if you are traveling to Ames.

Fantastic Host

My daughter and I needed a place to stay while completing her ISU orientation. Loved the place, close to campus and convenient for a 1-2 day stay. Host was fantastic! I’d be happy to stay there again in the future.

The apartment is in a historic home. It is a beautiful room with bathroom. Water pressure is good, air conditioning is adequate, very well appointed. The mattress was comfortable. We would stay there again. Only downside is some steep stairs to the room is hard on a couple of old people!

This is a cozy flat that is just right for two on a weekend getaway. Amenities were adequate. Access to wifi and the Firestick was a plus. Appreciated the older home feel.

Relaxing Getaway

This was a relaxing and calm get away. We were a 5-7 minute walk from downtown so that was nice. We had all the amenities we needed and we had an allocated place to park.

We really loved this place! Stayed for a week visiting family and friends mid-winter. It was clean and cozy, had all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay and so conveniently located! Walking distance to Main Street diners, pubs, restaurants and shops; supermarket, post office, bus stop etc. Plus, host was super attentive and responsive. Will definitely stay there again!

Outstanding!

I was very impressed by the Host , Susan! She stays on top of everything and she is very efficient and communicating.The place is absolutely Gorgeous! If you like historical and vintage then you will definitely enjoy staying in this neighborhood. This part of ames iowa is definitely a historical attraction and there are plenty of things to do here
