The house was beautiful. Loved the lay out. Ashley had filtered water there. She even had some food in the fridge which was a pleasant surprise. I had to laugh about the check in question. On her end it was great. I was the one who was not understanding of how it worked. Once I did it was great. Everything was very clean. She was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Would go back again if we need a place to stay in Boone and if it is available. Really close to the down town area. Close to the main roads.

We absolutely loved our stay at Natural Nesting Grounds! The house was even better than we expected. It’s a beautiful historic home with original hardwood floors, high ceilings, tons of natural light, and so much character, but it’s also clearly very well maintained and incredibly clean.Everything felt so thoughtful. The beds and couches were cozy and comfortable, and there were so many little details and extra things provided that you might need but forget to bring from home. I also really appreciated the environmentally friendly touches throughout the house.The seasonal decorating was such a sweet touch and made the house feel especially warm and welcoming. It really felt like staying in someone’s beautiful, comfortable home rather than just a rental.We were in town celebrating our son’s 12th birthday and had such a great weekend in Boone. Having this cozy little house to come back to made the trip even better. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was exactly as listed and the host was very friendly, responsive and easy to work with. It's an older property but very well maintained. The squeaky hardwood floors add to the charm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and there were a few staples in the fridge. The host seemed to think of everything. I think it's worth mentioning that there is no microwave and the ceiling fan in the bedrooms developed a tick during the night. Overall, we would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

Wedding weekend

This is a nice quiet cozy place to stay. We were in town for wedding activities and it was close to the venue. It was nice to come back and be able to relax. The bed was very comfortable so good sleeping was appreciated for the busy weekend. If ever in Boone again we would check availability again.

Why they chose this property

Please remember that this is a duplex unit and although it sits on a corner lot, in a relatively quiet neighborhood, there can be some noise. It's close to the high school, library, and downtown so you shouldn't experience any late-night ruckus but there can be some hustle and bustle throughout the day. There will be stays when no one will be home next door, and other times you might hear the neighboring door open/close, children playing outside, or the occasional footsteps/noises from above.

What makes this property unique

This charming home was built in 1900, and this duplex unit still boasts many original features. Beautiful hardwood floors, stunning chandeliers, and french doors. We also make seasonal changes to the decor to keep the space feeling festive, cozy, and appropriate for the time of year. These special touches may not be present in the standard listing photos.
