The Painted Pony Cottage at Leg Up Stables is located on a 300 acre horse farm in the heart of the beautiful Genesee Valley. The cottage offers charming amenities to make your equine inspired stay truly unique including a tack room and a remodeled kitchen. The cottage is perfect for those wishing to travel with their horses or those interested in being immersed in a horse's experience. Our horse farm provides riding lessons all year long. We have facilities to ride inside and outside in all weather conditions. Ask about a guided tour of Leg Up Stables which is home to nearly 80 horses.

The Cottage:
The Painted Pony Cottage at Leg Up Stables is a one-bedroom home that has recently been remodeled and offers a private cozy and comfortable place to stay. The cottage includes a full eat-in kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds. An air mattress is available for additional sleeping arrangements in the living room. The Cottage has parking for two cars and a horse trailer. We have a fire pit in out expansive lawn and lots of areas to run around.

It is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. Our dogs are very much at home with large areas to explore. The horses and the visitors are always friendly. The owners are welcoming and gladly provide insights into the area. We have visited there many times and will be back.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing getaway with our 2 dogs. It was fun to explore the farm and meet the horses up close and personal. Letchworth State Park is also a great place to visit during the stay.

This cottage is charming and quiet! Just lovely, bed was very comfortable and we were greeted with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh veggies which was such a welcoming touch! This property was exactly as described. You are right on the stable grounds. It was a comfortable stay for my husband, son and I for move-in day. Our 2 dogs loved exploring the stable grounds on walks and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will be returning.

The cottage was perfect for our stay for dropping our child off at Suny Geneseo. We stayed 2-nights, my wife and younger child took a riding lesson with Kim, who was great. We explored the property during the day, getting to see all the horses and and very much enjoyed the night sky. We also did a quick trip to Letchworth State Park to view the upper and middle falls. Had lunch on Conesus Lake, only a 10-minute drive. We would definitely stay at the cottage again.

The cottage was charming and had everything you'd need plus some helpful extras like tea, keurig, outdoor chairs, dog treats, etc...Our dog loved the horses and we fell in love with feeding the baby horses and stallions. Feeding, grooming and riding the horses with Kim and her daughter was a highlight of the trip. We learned some much and felt safe, very enjoyable.Set in the perfect location we easily enjoyed hikes at Letchworth during the day then dinner by the water in the evening.Highly recommend...
