One of the hidden gems of the South Sound, the aptly name Lost Lake doesn't disappoint. Incredible peaceful lakefront vacation home has nearly 100 ft of private shoreline with it's own dock, water toys, lakeside gazebo, fire pit and even an electrical vehicle charger!

At Lost Lake, you’ll enjoy exceptional year round fishing (with a license) right from the dock. Bring your motor boat to wakeboard, waterski, or inner tube. Ready to play on the water? The lake is refreshing for a swim or try our water toys- kayak, pedal boat, stand-up paddle board or aluminum rowboat (all provided) to explore this figure-8 shaped lake. Return back to a welcoming waterfront retreat with a lakeside fire pit (wood provided) adjacent to a large gazebo that provides shade and weather coverage. Expansive lawn offers plenty of additional space to play.

This amazing property has it all! The main floor offers a lakeside deck with benches to relax and unwind with loved ones while enjoying the spectacular view. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware you need to make your meals. Interior spaces are well appointed and set up for a vacation to remember. Enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living room is cozy with a 50” smart TV that you can stream, access to Netflix, and a DVD player with various DVDs available. There are plenty of beds to rest after a fun filled day.

Spend your time enjoying the house or explore all that the area has to offer. A nice quiet stroll from the property to the main road is only 1 mile each way. Within a 30 minute drive: Salish Cliffs Golf Club, or try your luck at Little Creek Casino, or explore motor sports racing at The Ridge Motorsports park. Check out other activities (winery and distillery) at Hoodsport. A 20 minute drive will take you to town for local restaurants, grocery stores, or visit the playground at Kneeland Park. There are many activities to enjoy whether by the lakeside or exploring the surrounding areas.

When you visit Lakeside Retreat, you will find the beauty of the fresh, clear, clean spring water and in the evening the silence of nature. This home is a beautiful spot all year-round and is the perfect getaway to relax, enjoy, and have fun creating many wonderful memories.

Home away from home

Second time to rent this property. We will do it again! Plenty to do in the surrounding areas but also just great to stay at the house on the lake with everything you would need for a relaxing vacation with family.

Lakeside ReTREAT is right!

Our family had such an AMAZING time at this lake place!! The fact that there was a bed for everyone and all that we needed and more was great! From the firepit by the lake to all of the watercrafts available, this place was incredible! I highly recommend this lake place and will definitely book time here again for my family of 6!!!

Amazing lake view from this comfortable house! The lake is really beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has everything you need including things like oil, spices, coffee and filters. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels.

Beautiful home with amazing views and great owner!

Throughout my booking, Paul the owner was very communicative and gave us tons of tips and instructions for the home. Once we got there, the home was just as beautiful as listed! Paul provides you with everything you need to have a great stay! Also, the view from the house on to the lake is amazing. I will definitely be going back!

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Easy check-in process with lots of communication. House was fully stocked, especially the kitchen! Made cooking for a group of adults a breeze. We had a good time fishing from the dock between rain showers and we were even able to enjoy a fire. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in showers was good! This home was the perfect place for hosting our adult only weekend. We look forward to returning!

Amazing Lakefront Getaway!

Wow! This place is incredible. We loved everything about our long weekend. Right on a beautiful lake with lots of space and lots of water toys and chairs to enjoy the view. The house was lovely, very well stocked with little extras, lots of places for folks to sleep. It has AC--so comfortable inside. You can tell someone cares about their house and about a renter's expereieince. We will be back!

Lake House Retreat

Our multi-generational family spent 5 glorious days at this lakefront house swimming, fishing, using the water toys and enjoying an evening of smores by the firepit . Upon arriving, we were instantly pleased with the location of this property and the amazing views! The inside was so cozy and welcoming, and had all the comforts of home. There is really nothing more I can add to all the positive posts by past guests, but I can say that we definitely did not want to leave! You will not want to either!

Cute cabin get-away

We hosted our annual girls weekend at this cabin. We only used 4 of the beds but all were memory foam and super comfortable (the middle bed in the 3 bed bedroom we don't think is memory foam). We loved the chairs at the dock for our one sunny day. Easy access to kayak, paddles and life jackets was appreciated. Hanging out in the family room was a bit tight during our days of rain. It would be even better if the kitchen and family room were bigger but there's only so much you can do with an existing footprint. Overall a lovely little place.

Great house

The house was perfect for our situation. Owner was fairly easy to work with. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if the extra cost per person as well as the total number of people that the original cost per night was for was a little more obvious to see. The house sleeps 8 but the price is only for up to 4 people. I didn't realize until the day before when we had to have someone stay with us that it cost more for more than 4 people. Every other house we have stayed out when using these sorts of sites tell you up front how many people are allowed but really what you need to make sure is that people know how many are allowed at the rate quoted when you are looking at different properties to rent.

Beautiful Location and Home!

Just spent six glorious days here and did not want to leave! The house is immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for cooking. We never found the need to leave and prepared all meals in the well stocked kitchen or barbecued on the deck. The beds are so comfortable and it is extremely quiet. You will get your best sleep here! We spent every single day on the dock and/or in the water. So many water toys provided. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the whole lake on the pedal boat. Fishing right off the dock was the highlight for my husband. Also loved the lakefront fire pit in the evening under the stars. The lake is so beautiful and clear. What a serene location. We were in awe of the view and just really couldn’t get enough! The owner has thought of everything to make your stay magical and we hope to return soon. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave!

Relaxing Lake Vacation

We loved our time at the lake house! The house is great - very clean and with all of the supplies you will need. The views of the lake are beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and the pedal boat. We also had many bald eagle sightings - which is always a favorite. We did enjoy buying shellfish at Taylors and cooking it at the house. I highly recommend it! Our only disappointment was that we only booked 3 nights. Paul was a great host and answered all questions promptly. We were a little concerned about only having AC in the one bedroom upstairs and the living area (especially since it was 85 the day we arrived) - but it was never an issue. We did use it downstairs during the day, but it cooled off so much at night we slept with the windows open and never needed the AC. Thank you Paul for sharing your lovely home!

Great Lakefront Home

Our family has stayed here twice in two years now and we’ve loved it both times. The house is well appointed with all the things necessary for a comfortable, fun stay. Paul is an excellent host. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved the lake, the house, and the area. So peaceful and quiet. The house was well-stocked and had gorgeous lake views. We especially liked that fact that the linens on the king size bed were percale cotton. I always bring my own nice sheets and didn't even need to use them! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the SUP, kayaks, and fishing gear. Definitely worth it!

Amazing Place

We have been to thais property multiple times. We keep coming back because it is so wonderful. They truly have all you need there! From kayaks and a pedal boat, to life jackets (in sizes kids-adults), to the super comfortable cabin. The neighborhood is so quiet too. And its located at the end of the lake, so kayaking is great because of limited motor boat traffic!

Family vacation

This property had everything for all ages. It was our first big family vacation with our 22 month old grandson. The water was beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable and had everything you needed. This easily will be a yearly trip for my family. Thanks to Paul for being an amazing host!

Put your mind at ease

You never know exactly what you’ll get stuck with when you are looking for rentals…put your mind at ease with this lakeside house. It will not disappoint nor will you have to spend your time running to the store for incidentals. The house is well stocked and lets you concentrate on relaxing. The house is well taken care of and clean. For a small lake house, the space feels cozy. We had 5 (mostly) adults for the bulk of the time, sometimes 6 and we did not feel like we were on top of each other.

Always an amazing stay

Paul is such a wonderful host. And this property truly is a little slice of heaven. You hardly need to bring a thing, besides food and some cold beer. The assortment of life jackets is very inclusive (little kids to big & tall adults). The lake is amazing, as are all the kind neighbors. Paul makes sure there is fishing gear available, stand up paddle boards, a pedal boat, kayaks, etc. You Must stay here at least once! This was our 4th time. And we have already scheduled our 5th stay.

Something For The Entire Family!

We just returned for our vacation at Lost Lake and this house exceeded every expectation! The house had plenty of room, updated kitchen and bathrooms and the AC worked great because it was over 90 degrees during our stay! The house had everything you needed to feed and entertain your family and the lake view and access was second to none! The dock worked great for my 17’ boat and we enjoyed playing with all the kayaks and paddle board provided. The shed by the dock had life jackets and even had fishing poles to use! There was plenty of parking for my extended family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would not hesitate recommending this place to anyone! This place has it all!

We fell in love with this home the very first time we saw it. Our first day here, we found the lake to be amazingly breathtaking- very clean and clear. We enjoy taking a stroll to the main road with the family and talking about our day. In the evening, we love watching the sunset over the lake. The stillness and quietness of the night allows for a peaceful sleep. Lakeside retreat is very cozy and inviting. We hope you enjoy it here and fall in love with the place as we have.
