Beach Bungalow-1920s Charmer- Dog's Stay for Free - Pierpont Ventura

This charming 1920s beach bungalow is located in the Pierpont Lanes of Ventura, California. Just 8 houses from the beach and dog friendly. The perfect couples get-a-way or enjoy with close family and friends. Huge grassy gated back yard with patio and tons of room for entertaining and relaxing. Home is most comfortable for 4 but can sleep 6. There are two queen beds and a sleeper sofa perfect for kids. Amazing beach, parks, hiking trails and only a mile from the Ventura Pier and historic downtown Ventura where you can find shops and restaurants.

Renovated in May 2021. You will enjoy a cozy living room and beautifully furnished bedrooms. All the comforts of home! Each room has a Smart TV. We provide quality bath towels, beach towels and linens for the beds (already made), plus extra blankets and pillows. A well-equipped kitchen with dishes and cookware, plenty of plates, glasses, and utensils, plus a BBQ for grilling. There is a coffee maker, microwave, stove and dishwasher. In addition, paper products for kitchen and bathrooms the home has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Beach equipment: we have Boogie boards, skim board, and beach chairs.
Dogs are welcome upon approval. Fully fenced yard. There is a pet fee when booking (when applicable). Maxiumum two dogs without prior apprival.

Enjoy the Ventura Pier or Ventura Harbor Village where you can experience Channel Island boat excursions, whale watching cruises, deep sea fishing and kayak/boat rentals. Downtown Ventura offers shops, restaurants, and historical sights. Ventura also offers local hiking, bike trails, golfing, wine tasting, small breweries, plus day spas and much more.

Santa Barbara is only a 30-minute drive. Here you can enjoy many restaurants, bike rentals, the Zoo, the Santa Barbara Mission, concerts, wine tasting and art shows.
Ojai is only 30-mintes away. Enjoy the Ojai bike trail or take a short drive to enjoy shopping, restaurants, golf, and wine tasting.

Please tell us about your group and pets when submitting an inquiry, so we can respond as quickly as possible! A vacation agreement is required and will be sent to guest after booking. A copy of ID is required prior to receiving access.

Please beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards back into garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

What a great place, great location and a fun place for my dog.Super clean and had all the needed amenities for our stay.Michelle was super helpful and quick to answer any questions I had regarding her property. She even made sure there was enough propane for the outdoor heater and BBQ. I will definitely be coming back to this wonderful little beach house.

This cute little beach house had everything we were looking for. Very concenient to the beach, restaurants, downtown shops and music scene, freeway for day trip to Santa Barbara. Very clean, great kitchen, and great water pressure.

While we had to cut short our stay, we really enjoyed the neat, well-equipped little beach home which was extremely well-located, 5 minutes from old downtowm Ventura

Loved this house, location was ideal and the amenities were awesome. Parking on site, fenced back yard, full kitchen were just a few items to note that made this an ideal getaway. I would recommend and will be back. Host was excellent and I felt I could contact her with any issues.

Outstanding Small Bungalow

The house was as advertised with all the creature comforts you could want. The house was pet friendly (important for us) and even came with dog bowls and a dog bed. Our dog had a great vacation! The placement of the house was simply great and within walking distance of good restaurants, beaches and parks.

Great experience. Charming cottage!

The “beach cottage” is adorable. It was super clean, well stocked, and felt like home—not just a rental. The backyard is amazing—we used it every afternoon and evening. The kitchen is well stocked. We greatly appreciated the hospitality and communication of the owner/property manager. The nearby beach (1-minute walk max) was beautiful and very open—a great place to watch the sunset and let the kids run around. Downtown Ventura is a gem. We highly recommend this charming property.

Ideal Beach Cottage

My husband, dog and I stayed at this super cute beach cottage and absolutely loved it. It was perfectly sized for the 3 of us with bright, clean bedrooms, a kitchen that easily met all of our needs and a cozy family room. In addition, there is a great backyard with a lawn for our dog to run around and a deck with a big dining table and sitting area. The house is less than a 5 min walk to the beach (just a few houses away) and a lovely park was also nearby. The town itself is beachy and fun. Michelle the property manager was incredibly responsive and so easy to deal with. We can't wait to stay here again. Was a wonderful experience all around.

Sweet, small, dog-friendly bungalow house near Pierpont beach

We stayed here because of its location & dog-friendliness. It is quite small, but clean, cute, & well-appointed. Beds are comfy. Furnace heating. TV & Netflix worked great. Yard is great for dogs to go out to do their business. You can’t leave dogs in house or yard while you are out, so plan to take your dogs with you wherever you go. Easy parking for 2 cars. Right down quiet street from beautiful Pierpont beach. Property Manager Michelle was great with communication & accommodating our group. We did not encounter any issues for which we needed to reach out.

We loved our stay here. Very nicely appointed inside and out and fully stocked with everything and anything you might need to have fun at the beach. We loved it and so did our kids. Would definitely book again!!

The house was perfect us...a couple + dog. We had a great stay and Michelle was very responsive. It was quiet and near everything we needed. Walk to the sand is 1/2 block. Saw beautiful sunsets every evening.
