Relax and Renew in our Oceanfront Home

Relax to the sound of the surf just steps from your front door. Our clean and comfortable family-friendly home is located on the beautiful Gold Coast of California between Ventura and Santa Barbara, and close to the artist community of Ojai. Theaters, shopping, restaurants and more are 10-20 minutes away.

Relax on the large deck, or walk down the steps right onto the sand. (Beach/sand levels shift throughout the year. During the winter, surf comes right up to the seawall at high tide.)

We are located on a family friendly beach and one of the area's best beginner surf spots and minutes away from some of the best surf spots in the country.

The master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows looking out to an endless Pacific Ocean view. The other two bedrooms look over the coastal foothills.

Enjoy meals and lounging on the large deck, surfing and kayaking right in front of the house or tennis on the private courts right down the road.

Enjoy wifi, flat screen, cable, Netflix

Fish right off the deck when the tide is up, or in the surf.

Visit Downtown Ventura where you will find a variety of quaint shops and restaurants on Main St., as well as the Museum of Ventura County and the San Buenaventura Mission.

Lure Fish House: on California St. Great fish, good service,
Old Creek Winery
Palermo: on Main St., Good coffee and gelato
Taqueria Tapatitlan, great Mexican food

Rent a bike and cruise the bike path

Take a lovely hike through the Botanical Gardens above the Courthouse to get a birds-eye view of Ventura, or you can drive up to the cross at Grant Park.

Take Hwy 33 into Ojai for more great shopping and restaurants, and many art galleries. Come back via the beautiful loop of Hwy 150.

Santa Barbara is 30 minutes north. There you can visit the Santa Barbara Mission, the Museum of Natural History, botanical gardens, shopping on State St. and the pier, and eat at one of Julia Child's favorite restaurants: La Super-rica

So much to do so little time! It's quite possible you never leave the chaise lounge :)

Due to the quiet nature of the area, and out of respect for our neighbors, parties and large groups are not permitted. Fires on the deck or on the beach are against the law.

We keep our rates reasonable so families can make the same happy memories our children have been able to make. Our outdoor furniture is not teak and our countertops are not granite, and our prices reflect that. Our home is clean and comfortable with everything you need for a perfectly relaxing escape.
