This light-filled two-story and cozy two-bed bedroom flat on the west wing of the High Woods farmhouse, huge property-12 acres to walk, sit by the stream or in the meadow or forest, and relax in this private and bucolic setting. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa (opens to a double bed), a modern kitchen with a full stove and refrigerator, a contemporary bathroom w/ waterfall rain shower, original beamed ceilings from this 250yr old farmhouse, and a stone patio. Relax in the hammock, enjoy a bonfire or bbq, play croquet and collect your own eggs from our free-roaming hens.
Walk or bike to a beautiful secret swimming hole and sculpture park opus 40. 8 minutes drive to Woodstock or Saugerties and very close to Kingston. Great restaurants, hiking, and farmer's markets. In winter, close to skiing at Hunter, Belleayre, Windham, and Plattekill.
