Ashley- I am just seeing this as we discussed we where out of town and busy season is upon us and this poor review is effecting us. Per VRBO rules we outline every bed and what the sleeping situation is. There are also numerous photos. What is being left out here is that we said we would find you another place and refund you since we could not get someone to come look at the unit quickly, when we found that you had medical issues. We do have fans and chillers in the house because the reality is, that when it is 90+ degrees outside on the gulf facing the sun all day on the beach, 78 may be the best it will get in most units since the air is trying to keep up especially if shades are left open. Getting any air company to come out and look at a unit mid summer, the day of, in Florida is like pulling teeth, finding you another unit was the best option if you were unhappy. In regards to husband fixing things, there are liabilities involved with guests doing handy work. We were were not being rude we have to treat our home like a business because it is. If he were to get injuries performing any job for us we would be liable. The cleaners were fired and you were refunded your cleaning fee because that mattress pads were unacceptable, all of which have been replaced. We also had a conversation after you left in which you said “you wish you could change the review” because I was helpful and I think instead of just looking me as unit, you saw I was a person, things happen. This is our home and our business. We did what we could to alleviate the situation with people staying. I hate that I even have to respond to this, but I am super host and your review is effecting us. I genuinely like you and please know this me just addressing what you wrote.
