Home is within walking distance of the beach. You'll want to drive if your spending the day w/ beach chairs, coolers, etc. House is clean and maid service provided during longer stays at request for $50.00 fee.
This spacious home offers everything you need for an amazing getaway. A full kitchen, fenced yard, modern amenities, and easy to access location. No 4x4 is needed to reach the house, and you can stroll to the beach 5 minutes walk away from Casa Mazzola. The entire house is yours to enjoy. There had been new construction next door, making a lot of noise early in the mornings. That's completed, so it's back to peace and quiet.

We had an excellent stay at Jack's place near Uvita beach. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The proximity to Uvita beach is amazing, we loved walking to the beach for sunset each day. Our kids (ages 8 and 6) loved jumping in the pool on the property. It is walking distance to two restaurants, a large grocery store, and a convenience store. The property has plenty of space to spread out and settle in.

Great location, comfortable house

House was lovely, very clean, very well stocked with everything we needed, pool was a big hit with our 7yo. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cozy stay

we had a great experience at Jacks place. The house was super clean and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Walking distance to grocery store, beach, restaurants and national park. Communication with Jack was great! even though he mentioned he may not be accessible at times he always replied and assisted promptly. The pool was definitely a bonus, amazing home!

This was our first experience in Costa Rica and with using VRBO. The property was lovely. It was close to the beach (10 minute walk to the national park pay entrance) and walking distance to a grocery store and great restaurant! Everything was very clean and ready to use. The pool was the perfect size for our 4 year old and 2 year old. The outdoor ammentites (outdoor sink and shower) were a nice touch. I would book a stay at this house again.

Good size house with amenities

Good sized house for our family of 5 including 3 young adult kids. Thumbs up: ample air conditioning, high ceilings and fans, modern safe executive neighbourhood, open concept living room and kitchen, amazing Mexican bar and restaurant steps away, grocery store 3 minutes away, and responsive host. Heads up: 1. 2nd shower is outdoor open air style attached to the 2nd bathroom to serve the pool. It is beautiful and clean; just a heads up since in our case the young adults did not want to use an open air style shower given likelihood of insects in the tropics. This meant more use of the main shower by more people. 2. We felt that the kitchen and living room areas need deeper cleaning, and this would also help with the cockroaches. Though it is the tropics and insects are expected, we felt the number of pesky buggers were unreasonable. 3. Beds are not comfortable so we were not rested. 4. Main bath shower floor is such that water stands. 5. Pool looked nice, however we did not use it much due to size relative to our us. 6. Toilet seats need minor adjustment. They slip when you sit on them.

The house is in a rainforest because of that you do get a number of insects during the rainy season because they always try to go to higher ground for a dry ground. That is very common. Also, the pool is very adequate size. You can read any of my other reviews I’ve had for the last five years everybody always compliments the pool and miss my house. I’m not really price my home also to make everybody comfortable, but I guess some people just cannot please

Sehr schönes Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus und es war immer ein netter und schneller Kontakt zum Vermieter vorhanden, der unkompliziert alle Fragen beantwortet hat. Es ist alles vorhanden und die Unterkunft sehr sauber. Einzig der Baulärm aus der Nachbarschaft schmälert ein wenig den Gesamteindruck. Wenn die Hütte auf dem Nachbargrundstück allerdings mal demnächst fertig ist, sollte auch hier Ruhe gefunden werden können. Da wir eh viel auf Ausflügen waren, haben wir halt auch nicht allzu viel davon mitbekommen. Vielen Dank an Jack, den Vermieter, für die tolle Betreuung!

We chose this property because of the location. Not too far from everything, but far enough that it's peaceful.
And, It's at the world famous Whales Tale.

The house is the perfect size for family enjoyment.
The locals are very laid-back, friendly, and willing to help however they can.
There are great restaurants anywhere you go.
The beach is clean, since it is a National Park.
Tours depart from near by.
