The host, Adam, was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. I wouldnt say the kitchen was well stocked unless you only use salt and pepper and olive oil to cook. The house is beautiful and in a great neighborhood!

There was at least one bad review that made me question this property but the amount of positive reviews outweighed the negative. If those were legitimate reviews, their experience was very different than mine. The place was in a great location, despite the street noise. The house was sparse and poorly lit. Several of the shades were non operable so impossible to raise to let natural light in. The living room furniture was stained, even though the place was cleaned it was not fresh. The check in process was not smooth. Keypad entry was very clunky. Half the time the entry code did not work which meant we had to call the "manager". This meant chatting with a bot who would eventually get us in touch with a human. Same tedious experience when trying to get a Wifi password because the one we were sent did not grant us access. The vibe overall was unwelcoming. Signs posted around the property with an image of a firearm stating "...warning shot will not be given". I get this is for security and not meant for us but super weird. Also note, there is a guest house so there is no private backyard space and its not enclosed. If you bring your dog, it will not be in a secured space. I have rented several properties in Chico when visiting my kid, this was the worst. Not comfortable for me, my partner, my other child or my parents. This is the first poor review I have written after a stay anywhere and I travel frequently.
Great location. Premises were clean and equipped with everything we needed. House is tucked in back, so traffic sound was not an issue. Plenty of parking. Accommodated my Mom as well. Would stay again next time.
Pros- house was in a good location within walking distance to campus, host was responsive, kitchen was clean and well appointed. Cons- bathroom floor grout was covered in mold/mildew, house sleeps eight but only three bath towels provided. One bedroom had the fan remote missing and got very hot, one bed was very uncomfortable. Washing machine didn’t work.
This place met our expectations and was very comfortable. It’s located in a nice neighborhood and conveniently close to downtown, which fit perfectly with our itinerary. The host was quick to respond to messages. Overall, I’d definitely book again
Great home close to everything! Off of a busy street but the parking was no problem and I couldn't even hear the traffic. Location was perfect and I'll defintely rent it again!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. We typically stay in a hotel in Chico, however were looking for a more relaxed stay. This filled our needs well. The property manager was very responsive.
Nice three bedroom home. We were there for the weekend for a college event. Adam was very helpful and easy to communicate with during the entire process. The only upgrade would be a suggestion to add mirrors in the bedrooms, don't have to wait for the bathroomng ready.
We did expect nicer accommodations for what we paid, however we have quickly learned that everything is much more expensive in California. The door code did not work when we arrived, however I called the phone number provided and got help right away so wasn’t that big of a deal. The WiFi did not work our entire stay and there is not good cellular service so that was a big annoyance for us as we had teens that we felt uncomfortable leaving for a bit because we couldn’t trust them having service to get ahold of us. We called on the internet not working, we were told someone was going to come fix it and that never happened. The house is old and definitely has an old smell to it. The old smell wasn’t really that bothersome, but the air freshener used by the cleaning folks was VERY off putting to me. We had to open all the windows to air it out. There are not too many cooking items available, one pan and a pot so don’t expect to make any elaborate meals. All and all it was fine; I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but if it’s in your budget and that’s all there is it’s not a terrible place to stay. The area was nice and a great distance to downtown so that was a plus.
Visited son for Thanksgiving and hosted our family meal. House was so comfortable and spacious. Host was excellent and immediately responded to all questions. Super easy check in. Absolutely no issues with the house. Will definitely stay again!
Cute little house to stay with friends to relive their college days. Good communication with manager, no cleaning fee, and close walk to downtown. Just an older home that creaks here and there but it did the job!
Totally enjoyed our stay, great house, great location!
Here for our daughters graduation. Family stayed with us in both the main house and the back studio. Perfect set up. Well equipped.
Easy walk to graduation ceremony, downtown restaurants and shops. Thank you Adam for allowing us to enjoy your great house. We probably won’t be back since our daughter graduated but definitely recommend this place. Wish we would have found it sooner!
We visited our son's family in Chico. The house is surprisingly large and the sparsely furnished living room worked perfectly for us as a space for kiddos' puzzles, wooden train tracks and sock skating. We enjoyed having a real dining room as 6 of us had several meals together. The location was handy, a pleasant walk to downtown.
