The house was as advertised. Shower was a bit unusual and cheap, and there was only on-street parking. This was a good base of operations for us for our fishing trip and other activities in Seward.
This is a cute old house that is located close to the Alaska Sealife Center and shopping. It is very comfortable and clean. It served us very well for our 2 night stay. The host is a very charming man who is very responsive to messages.
This was a very cute and comfy place. It was a tight fit for our family of 7 but the location made up for that. I wish there was a full length mirror in the space. And maybe curtains on the kitchen window.
This location can't be beat! It's close to everything. A lot of things to see are within walking distance. The place is so convenient that it doesn't matter that there is no tv. Great stay!
We enjoyed are stay we had plenty of pans and stuff to cook with. The beds were comfortable and clean. Would love to have to bathrooms and maybe a regular shower. But other than that loved it. Also this host didn’t give you a long list of things to clean before you leave. We felt like we were at a family camp.
Great place to stay with the family! The location is wonderful, walking distance to everything, the coffee shop, the library, the water front, and more.Thank you!
Great location but this property has gone through a lot and could used some renovations. Have to be careful when walking through the house as the floor is not completely level in a few areas. The staircase going to the top floor are not kid friendly and even could make some adults doubt a little. But the property description is accurate and for the amount of beds it could be what most are looking for.
Seward is on the top of my list of favorite places I’ve visited. High recommend adding it to your bucket list if you haven’t been. This VRBO was comfy, cozy, clean and perfectly located. A great place to rest our heads while we explored the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Pros- beautiful view from enclosed porch, close to everything, bed was cozy, quiet at night (weekday)Cons-most expensive place we stayed and yet it had the least amenities. No nightstands, night lights, TV and you are asked to not use much Internet, etc.We would not stay there again because of that. Also latest check-in of any places we stayed at during our month long trip to Alaska. The owner is a captain on a boat and when he has reception, he is very responsive but when he doesn’t it’s tough. We also were aware it was a vintage home, but didn’t realize how little had been done to really update it
The location was perfect- easy to walk to everything downtown and the views out the door are stunning. The place itself was clean with plenty of space for our family. The house is a little run down, but if you’re expecting something a little rustic, this place is great.

We loved this property even if it’s dated. It was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and was close to shopping and dining. We would definitely stay here again.
