Zomervakantie 2024

De ontvangst door Karen & John was hartelijk. Bereikbaar wanneer nodig, maar onopvallend aanwezig. Mooie tuin en verzorgd zwembad. Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt maar is kleiner dan in de advertentie lijkt. Bakker en kruidenier op 5km. Uitstappen in de regio moet je rekenen op een autorit van 15 min tot 1u.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit

Ende August durften wir an diesem herrlichen Ort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Die Ausstattung im Haus bietet alles was man benötigt und es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist groß und hat viel Platz zur Erholung. Man findet immer ein sonniges oder schattiges Plätzchen mit den vorhandenen Gartenliegen. Falls doch einmal ein kurzer Regen kommt oder beim Frühstück die Sonne zu stark scheint, ist es optimal am großen Tisch in der halboffenen Scheune zu sitzen. Der Pool hatte durchweg eine angenehme Temperatur, ist wunderbar gepflegt und stand uns zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung. Nach ca. 50 min Fahrt erreicht man ganz großartige Strände. Auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Wir haben die Zeit in wunderbarer Erinnerung, auch dadurch, dass wir Karen und Jon (beide sehr diskret) etwas besser kennenlernen wollten/durften und auf zwei sehr herzliche Menschen getroffen sind. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Small but perfectly formed

This is a lovely house which has everything you could possibly need from cling film to baking trays to coffee machine. It is smaller than we thought it would be but this was not a problem as the garden is so big. Once you adjust to the fact that the house is not attached to the garden life is easy. The fan was a life saver upstairs as it was extremely hot. The bathroom is lovely with an amazing shower. The pool was fantastic as was the barbecue and all the different eating areas. There’s plenty of outdoor games too if the pool isn’t enough. The pool was looked after by John and this was not intrusive and he was very friendly and helpful as was Karen - even taking us to a nearby event at a Chateau. The local area was lovely and all accessible very easily by car. We had a brilliant holiday and our first with a pool. There’s no going back now!!!. Thank you!
