Rick,
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We leave 4 hand towels in each bathroom and 6 towels in the drawers in the kitchen and we left 2 rolls of paper towels which I show all were used on your visit. We leave additional towels in the laundry room and will leave more in the future! Thank you for the feedback!
The cabin was comfortable and homey. Everything was nice (and the beds were comfortable), but we didn't feel like our children were going to break something everytime we turned around. The location was easy to get to and perfect for going on lots of day hikes. The outside areas were comfortable and we definetely took advantage of the fire pit to make smores. I would definetely recommend this cabin!

Beautiful backyard view
very nice and clean home

I have Verizon and barley had service
and there is not much to do close by
but if you want to just relax and enjoy nature this place is for you

Thank you so much Kermela for your review! I wish you would have connected to the starlink internet we have and It would have resolved your issue. Thanks again your group was awesome!
Cute cabin with a good amount of space. Could honestly use a deep clean, it looks like it just gets a quick turnover clean between guests and that’s it (for example, lots of dust on top of the ceiling fan blades). But it’s nice, and the host is great at communicating, and it’s close to Payson and Horton Creek. Even the neighbors are nice and friendly. Would stay again.

Thank you for your review, we will absolutely address this issue with the fan blade and make sure they are dust free for every visitor.
The home always has at least a day between visitors allowing for a thorough clean in between, I apologize again for the dust on the fan blade. Hope to see you again!
As described, forest right up against back of property. No issues with cleanliness or house amenities. Word of warning if it's raining a lot the nearby roads can be a pretty bad, but our van is very low to the ground.

Hey Jason,
Thank you for submitting your review, you guys are great guests and we welcome you back anytime!!
The cabin was very dusty needs to be kept up between guests appliances were not wiped, freeze had a empty ice bag and not wiped our towels has stains this is not the standard we are expecting when we paid a fare price for the 2 day stay the king bed was so tall we had to sleep apart in the other room beds were uncomfortable the pillowcase was smaller then the pillow, The amount of people who could have slept was great however no place of comfort to sit only a couch for three which is crowded outside was beautiful going into the forest but the lawn furniture was not kept dirty and spider webs, should’ve been maintained between guest. Small repairs and dusting would go a long way!

The little big cabin
The name of the property is very accurate a nice place to stay. Very friendly neighbors. My only complaints were it wasn’t as clean as expected, the spider webs outside under the seating area and above the kitchen table, the beds were a bit high, I would recommend a step ladder for the beds, especially for short and older people, the upstairs bed room with the couch was hot, there was only a fan where as in the other room there was a cooler. We also ended up only having enough propane for one meal and the oven which was very dirty. The house was a nice size for a family of 10, for the amount of time we were there.

I’m very sorry to hear your complaints and wish you would have reached out to us. We keep an additional full propane tank at the cabin as an extra so that our guests never run out. (We would have had it exchanged for you) The cabin does have AC and additional fans and coolers we are very sorry one of the rooms was hot and will look into that.
The cabin is cleaned after every guest. The cabin is located directly on the forest and does get the occasional spider webs. We are happy overall you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your review.
About the host
Hosted by Rachel and Jacob Wuertz
My husband and I purchased this cabin to offer our family a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city—a place to unwind, reconnect, and truly experience nature. Both of us have busy weekly jobs, but our shared passion for real estate inspired us to pursue our dreams. This cabin represents that dream, and we're excited to share it with others who seek the same sense of peace and adventure.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this area for so many reasons. The feeling of seclusion yet being close enough to downtown Payson to enjoy the town’s charm, makes it the perfect escape. Being directly on the forest allows us to step right outside for riding, hiking, and taking in the endless, breathtaking views. We love our wonderful neighbors and the sense of community here. Plus, having easy access to lakes, creeks, and Diamond Point makes every day an adventure!
What makes this property unique
Our absolute favorite part of the cabin is that it backs directly to the forest. Waking up each day surrounded by hundreds of towering pine trees and experiencing wildlife right in our backyard is truly magical.
We love that our cabin gives you the cozy, authentic log cabin feel while still providing the simple luxuries we’ve all come to appreciate. It’s the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, making every stay relaxing, adventurous, and unforgettable.
