Spacious 4 BR Cabin w/ Stunning Mountain Views! Pet Friendly! Hot Tub!
WHY GUESTS CHOOSE BEAR CLOUD
The views are the first thing you'll notice. Long-range, layered ridges rolling south, visible year-round, not just when the leaves drop. One recent guest wrote that her whole family gasped when they walked in. That reaction is pretty typical.
The second thing you'll notice is how the cabin actually works for a group. Two king suites (one on each level) mean two sets of parents, or two couples, get equal privacy. The main-level queen-plus-full room is perfect for kids or teens. A downstairs queen suite gives a fourth couple their own space. Plus a queen sleeper sofa when you need it.
The third thing you'll notice is how easy it all is. Paved driveway. Five parking spots. Self check-in. A cabin that's genuinely set up, not just photographed well.
NEW FOR 2026
We just added two upgrades guests have been asking for:
- Brand-new hot tub on the covered lower deck, tucked under the trees. Surrounded by woods, protected from the rain, with seating for 6.
- Stone fire pit with Adirondack chairs in the backyard, ready for s'mores, cool evenings, and the kind of long conversations that only happen around a real fire.
WHAT YOUR DAYS CAN LOOK LIKE
Slow mornings with fresh coffee on the upper deck as the sun comes up over the ridges. Downtown Blue Ridge for lunch, the Scenic Railway, or Mercier Orchards in the afternoon. Back to the cabin for a shuffleboard rematch while dinner cooks on the grill. The kids dig into the board games. Someone pours a second glass of wine. The fireplace clicks on. Later, fire pit under the stars, then hot tub before bed.
That's the Bear Cloud rhythm. Close enough to town to feel connected, private enough to feel like a real escape.

Lower Level - King Suite 2: King bed, ample closet, dresser, ceiling fan, ensuite full bath with tub-shower - Queen Suite: Queen bed, ample closet, dresser, ceiling fan, ensuite full bath with tub-shower
Every bathroom has a hair dryer. Tub-showers throughout (perfect for bathing kids and dogs after a day outside). A baby bath is available for the little ones.
Sleep quality: guests consistently mention the beds. One recent review: "All the beds were SO comfortable, it was the best sleep any of us had gotten in years."
OUTDOOR SPACE: TWO DECKS, A FIRE PIT, AND 1.5 PRIVATE ACRES
Upper Deck (main level) The view deck. Long-range layered ridges straight ahead, dining table for outdoor meals, gas grill connected to the house propane (no tanks to swap), rocking chairs, and a porch swing. This is where guests linger with morning coffee and where sunset drinks happen.
Lower Deck Covered, quieter, and tucked into the trees. Home to the new hot tub. More rocking chairs and swings make this the spot for a book, a nap, or a late-night soak in the rain.
The Fire Pit A real stone fire pit with four Adirondack chairs, set in the woods just off the cabin. Wood-burning, ready for marshmallows and slow nights under the stars. Please check local burn bans before lighting.
The Yard Bear Cloud sits on 1.5 private wooded acres. Plenty of space for kids to run, dogs to sniff, and the whole group to spread out.
LIVING ROOM (main level)
The room guests gasp at. Vaulted ceilings. A wall of windows framing the layered mountain view. A plush leather sectional that seats the whole family with room for blankets and popcorn. A gas fireplace that clicks on with a switch (no chopping wood, no smoke smell). A 65" smart TV loaded with streaming apps. Bluetooth speakers throughout.
Paired with a dining table for 6, bar seating for 4, and a high chair, there's room for everyone to gather without feeling crammed in.
KITCHEN (main level)
Full kitchen, fully stocked for family meals. Full-size stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, fridge, Keurig, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and blender. Cookware, bakeware, knives, cutting boards, wine glasses, and every utensil you actually need.
Starter supplies waiting on arrival: dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, and trash bags to cover your first few nights.
Dining options: - Indoor dining table seats 6 - Kitchen bar seats 4 - Upper deck dining table for outdoor meals - High chair - Toddler plates and cups ready in the cabinet
GAME ROOM (lower level)
Downstairs is where the trip gets memorable. The game room runs long across the lower level: a full shuffleboard table, a foosball table, a cozy leather sectional in front of the second gas fireplace, and a 65" smart TV.
It's the kind of space where tournaments start, kids disappear for hours (in a good way), and adults stay up too late in the best way. A full-size washer and dryer are tucked in down here too, which matters more than you'd think on longer stays with kids or pets.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Traveling with kids is either easy or it's the whole trip. We've set up Bear Cloud so it's easy.
For babies and toddlers: pack-n-play (please bring your own fitted sheet), high chair, baby bath, toddler plates and cups.
For older kids: game room with shuffleboard, foosball, board games, 6 smart TVs with streaming, fiber Wi-Fi that actually works for their devices, plus a real fire pit for s'mores.
For the parents: two king suites so two sets of grown-ups each get privacy, separate living areas upstairs and downstairs so nap time upstairs doesn't stop fun downstairs, washer and dryer for the inevitable spills and mud.
For the whole family: balanced bedroom layout across two floors, cozy fireplaces, outdoor space, and a 10-minute drive to ice cream, pizza, and Mercier Orchards when you need an easy afternoon win.
Multi-family or multi-generational trip? This cabin was designed for it. The two king suites on separate floors and the balanced bathroom count (3.5 across two levels) are why groups rebook.
BRING THE DOG
We welcome up to 2 dogs, 75 pounds or under, with a small pet fee added when you book. Your pup is part of the family, and Bear Cloud is happy to host them.
What to know before you arrive: - The yard is not fenced - Our mountain neighborhood is hilly, so long leashed walks from the driveway are limited. For real exercise, drive to one of the nearby trails. - Downtown Blue Ridge has several dog-friendly patios and a walkable shopping district, so your dog can come along for lunch and ice cream runs.
Please keep dogs off the furniture and beds, and pick up in the yard. That's it.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This place was amazing, every room was big and spacious, decorated great. Porch and deck great size and had plenty of sitting room. Close to shops and restaurants.
This was one of the best girl outings we’ve had so far.
Will be definitely going back,
Was looking for some peace and quiet on our way to Orlando... Needless to say wish we would have just stayed here the whole time. Just a great place to relieve stress and enjoy life.
We enjoyed the weekend in Blue Ridge. The cabin accommodated our family nicely and had everything we needed. We had an infant with us and the high chair and pack and play was much appreciated.

Thank you for the wonderful review, Vanessa! We're so glad that you found the cabin accommodating for the whole family including your little one :) Thanks again and we would love to have you back anytime!
This property is so beautiful with really gorgeous views. I love how close it is to downtown blue ridge. We came from Florida the day before hurricane milton and the owners were VERY accomodating and kept great communication with us the whole time.
Fantastic, clean and well laid out home… in the mountains! Everything from the location to the very spacious cabin was spot on. You are only a couple of miles outside Blue Ridge but the cabin and its views beg you to stay and enjoy it. Excellent amenities from the game room to the hot tube, my family enjoyed their spring break. The owners were very responsive and polite. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Can’t wait to book it again!
We had a wonderful stay at Bear Cloud cabin! While we could see other cabins without the tree cover, it still felt private and was very peaceful. The cabin itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. Our kids especially loved the hot tub and the game area downstairs.Blue Ridge had so much to offer—we enjoyed exploring the downtown shops and restaurants, taking the scenic train ride, and even making a day trip to Atlanta. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We’d definitely recommend Bear Cloud and would love to return for another vacation!
The cabin was very comfortable for a large family stay. We loved the downstairs game room, the views and TVs in every room and living room(s). The cabin can use a bit of minor maintenance for example the dryer was not working, lightbulb changes etc. overall the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

About the host
Hosted by Patrick Wiley
We're Patrick and Maria. We run Accommodays, a small collection of family-friendly homes, and Bear Cloud is one of our favorites.
We live in Texas, so you won't see us in person during your stay, but we're genuinely one message away. Our response rate is 100%, almost always within the hour, and our real job is to make sure your trip goes smoothly. That means answering questions fast, fixing anything that needs fixing, and recommending the restaurant, hike, or waterfall that actually fits what you're looking for.
Booking with us is, more than anything, the safe choice. Five years of hosting, 500+ five-star reviews across our properties, and a track record of making things right when life happens.
Why they chose this property
We chose this corner of Blue Ridge because it gives you the two things that almost never come together: a real long-range mountain view and a genuinely easy drive to town.
The cabin sits about 5 miles south of downtown Blue Ridge, just off Highway 76. Ten minutes one way puts you in front of a coffee shop, a brewery, or dinner on Main Street. Ten minutes the other way and you're on a trail, at a waterfall, or putting a kayak in the water. You don't have to pick.
What we love most is the morning. The cabin faces southeast, so the sun comes up directly over the layered ridges. Coffee on the upper deck while the valley fills with light is the moment guests tell us they remember most.
The neighborhood itself is quiet, wooded, and residential. Mostly other cabins on big private lots, plenty of trees, and the kind of silence at night that city folks forget exists. You'll hear an owl before you'll hear a car.
Within a 15-minute drive: downtown Blue Ridge restaurants and shops, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Mercier Orchards (cider donuts worth the trip), Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa River for tubing and trout fishing, several wineries and breweries, and the Benton MacKaye Trail for serious hikers. Within 30 minutes you can reach Ellijay for antique shopping, McCaysville and Copperhill on the Tennessee border, and Harrah's Casino in Murphy, NC.
It's the rare spot where you can do everything or do nothing, and both feel like the right call.
What makes this property unique
Bear Cloud was built for the trips you actually remember, the ones with grandparents, in-laws, college friends, or three families trying to vacation together without anyone losing their mind.
A few things make this cabin different from the other 4-bedroom rentals in Blue Ridge:
Two king suites, one on each floor. Most 4BR cabins have one king and a bunch of queens. Bear Cloud gives two sets of parents (or two couples) equal privacy and equal-quality sleep, with their own bathrooms and their own floor.
Year-round layered ridge views. Southeast facing, sunrise side, visible through every major window on the main level. Not seasonal, not partial. Guests gasp on walk-in. That's a direct quote from a recent review.
Brand-new hot tub on a covered deck under the trees. New for 2026. Protected from rain and snow, surrounded by forest, open to the mountain air. Year-round soaking.
A real stone fire pit. Adirondack chairs, wood-burning, set in the woods just off the cabin. The new favorite evening spot for s'mores and long conversations.
A game room that actually gets used. Full shuffleboard table, foosball, board games and puzzles, a 65-inch smart TV, and the second gas fireplace. Adults stay up too late down here. So do the kids.
Genuinely easy logistics. Fully paved driveway, 5 cars fit, self check-in at 4pm, fiber Wi-Fi that actually works. No coordination, no stressful arrival.
Set up for kids, not just marketed for them. Pack-n-play, high chair, baby bath, toddler plates and cups, childproofing on outlets. Multi-generational trips work here.
And the part you can't see in photos: we've been hosting for five years, we're Superhosts, we hold a 100% response rate (almost always within the hour), and across our four properties we have 500+ five-star reviews. Booking with us is the safe choice. If something goes sideways during your stay, we fix it fast.
Come for the views. Stay for everything else.
