Absolutely beautiful apartment. Wonderfully appointed, beautiful views, well-situated close to the 8 metro and walkable to lots of great spots. I can’t recommend enough. There is even a secret view of the Eiffel Tower if you go to the edge of the balcony :)
The apartment had a beautiful view and was spacious for two people. There were dozens of stores to shop at close by and we walked everywhere from the apartment. It is in a gorgeous location! The host made the check-in process very easy and answered questions quickly throughout our entire trip. At the time of our stay there were renovations in the stairwell. There was plastic covering the five flights of stairs, however we never heard any noise or ran into workers. I wish the apartment had a little more of a deep clean but overall the trip was great!!!
This cute little apartment is in a perfect location if one wants to explore Paris. Minutes away from a whole host of cafes and restaurants, and from public transportation and it’s only a short walk to some major tourist attractions. The climb up to the fifth floor is absolutely worth it as it offers up a beautiful view over some rooftops of Paris, a beautiful sunset to watch as a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this place and I definitely recommend it.

Had a great stay, albeit too short!!
Apartment in great location, easy access to restauranrs, shopping, patestries and grocery.
The apartment is on the 5th floor, with a spiral staircase - you'll get a good workout with each climb up...and no elevator!!
The only reason for the overall rating of 3, is that we were not informed the building was undergoing major renovations.
Christian was a great help with our luggage and any needs we had.
Thank you Catherine!

A mixed feeling
A fifth floor walk up in a nice neighborhood, with a staircase under construction (a war zone is what we jokingly called it). A spacious living room and bedroom by Paris standards, good windows and daylight, a tiny bathroom (small toilet and shower). A small bed with an old uncomfortable mattress. In the summer the balcony must be nice. Especially because the other side of the street is an empty office building - so no one who looks at you when you open the drapes in the morning. We were there during the Christmas holidays, with no construction going on. Our nights were very quiet. Most likely quiet and nice neighbors. Catherine was not in Paris, and her very friendly neighbor Christian took care of us on arrival. And he kindly helped us carry a suitcase down the 5 floors on departure as well. Catherine reacts very promptly to messages - but gave us a wrong number for us to call Christian on arrival - Christian said that did not surprise him / we ended up sorting that out. You feel that Catherine cares. The flat looks as if nothing has been invested or renovated since the sixties or seventies (except for a new iron and kettle). Everything worked - heating, warm water, oven, microwave, a good lock, clean towels and sheets. No coffee machine, only one of those small cast aluminum Italian percolators. The wall to wall carpet is old, all kitchen appliances are old, the shower is ancient, … and as a result nothing looks and feels clean.
