This newly-built guesthouse is in a resort-like setting, perfectly located in the quite and safe northgate neighborhood, one of the best in walnut creek. The guesthouse is two minutes walk away from Mt. Diablo trails. It is about 12 minutes drive to walnut creek BART or downtown. It has its own patio by huge redwood trees. You will have complete privacy with your own entrance.

Nice stay in Walnut Creek

We stayed for the birth of our first and second grandchildren at John Muir. Lots of running around, and this was a perfect cottage for all our visits with the babies. Clean place, and great location. Thank you to very nice hosts.

The listing was just as described. Great guesthouse with the most comfortable mattress we have slept on. The bath was beautiful with a wonderful shower. The neighborhood was exceptionally quiet and the location was perfect for us to be able to get to our grandkids house and activities. Secluded hideaway…

Quiet and secluded, but only minutes from downtown Walnut Creek and the outdoor areas around Mt. Diablo. A bit Spartan but has all the essentials. Host did a great job of getting us in and settled. Good value for the money.

Beautiful location in Walnut Creek

We came to Walnut Creek for a family event, and my husband and I very much enjoyed staying here. The listing is very accurate and the location is absolutely beautiful. We would’ve liked a few more cutlery items, and the refrigerator was a little dirty inside, but outside of those small things it was great. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Our Specific Need

We were in the area for a memorial service for an old friend, we wanted a place nearby for a couple of people and this property fit the bill in all ways. Nearby hiking trailhead was a bonus. Amenities as described, frictionless check-in and check-out. Note that this is a very suburban location and so very car-dependent. But on the whole a delightful stay and will definitely look to stay again should we be in the area.

Peaceful and quiet

This property was great. The property is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood near a fantastic trail. If you like nature and seeing horses, deer, wild rabbits and birds singing, this is the place. Property owner is fantastic and communicates well and in a timely manner. Very friendly, kind and understanding. We used this property for about 6 months while our house was being remodeled. Highly recommend this property.
