Great location! Walkable to State Street, beach/pier, and funk zone. Property manager made check in/check out super easy. Overall wonderful experience!
The house was just as described and very clean. The hosts communicated well, easy check in. There was some traffic on the street on the weekend nights but didn’t bother us and we’d definitely recommend this cute house for a family getaway.
We booked this stay as a group of 5 for a wedding weekend in Santa Barbara and it was perfect for everything we needed. The location can't be beat, as it's walking distance to downtown and the beach.
Perfect spot for exploring Santa Barbara. House is compact but has everything we needed. Location is fantastic, and finding parking on the street was fairly easy.
Our 2nd annual Moms and Daughters weekend. The house was perfect. Great location and very accommodating host. The house had a great games selection and perfect touches for our weekend stay.
Great stay at this little house a few blocks from State Street! The house was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed for a short stay. The property was especially helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. So grateful for his help!
Travel to Santa Barbara with my two adult children for their brother’s graduation. Accommodations were clean, neat and as described. Everything went as planned, no problems at all, close proximity to State Street. was a huge plus.
Very clean, good location, parking difficult but not the fault of the owners. The only suggested improvement would be to improve wifi, it is poor. I used my cellular which was also pretty poor.
The only thing that prevented the overall rating from being 5 stars is that the house was a little smaller than what we had imagined from the pictures and would have hoped for. It was not misleading, but rather just a bit of a surprise. Other than that, the property was as advertised, fulfilled its purpose, and was much closer to the hip downtown area of Santa Barbara, with lots of places to eat, shop, and enjoy the sites, all within a 2-3 block walking distance (5 minutes).
My group unfortunately got caught during the only weekend it rained in Santa Barbara so five adults unexpectedly stayed inside this small home all weekend. It’s not a bad place at all, but we were intending to be out and about a lot so staying indoors in this small place we all felt a little cramped in the living room. That being said they had many games and we were able to easily hook up about play our Nintendo Wii. Shower stalls a tad small but serviceable, beds were ok but would suggest replacing the mattresses in the near future. Wished we could have used the outdoor space out front as it looked useable and the back patio round table and chairs looked cute although one of the chairs might be unsteady. Overall a decent but small place, centrally located to downtown Santa Barbara.
Such a cute little house! Great location! We walked to the shops and beach many times. We enjoyed the cute covered patio in the backyard and while it was a small house it was great to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms since there was 6 of us. We had spent the previous 3 days camping at the beach in Malibu and headed to Santa Barbara to attend a concert at the Bowl so we definitely appreciated the charm and comfort of the house. The host was very friendly and responsive and allowed us to check in a little early which was super appreciated.
Lovely location and property! The home is small, but the outdoor area added a lot of extra space and was a great place to spend time. Very close to State Street and reasonable walk to beaches. Street parking wasn’t too much of an issue, we were always able to find somewhere within a block or two. Gave it four stars instead of five because it was missing some things that would’ve made it more comfortable for our week-long stay for six people; more towels, trash bags, more kitchen essentials, etc. Otherwise great and would highly recommend!
From initial comms with us to checkout, this was an outstanding bungalow stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Virandra was a gracious host, answered any questions we had. Compact yet enough space for our adult family. Great covered patio in the rear, and sunny seating in front. 5 minute walk to State street and 20 min walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here next time in Santa Barbara!
This property can comfortably hold six adults who are spending most of the time walking around town. The amenities are great and it is in a very convenient location. The host is extremely responsive and kind. One of the better places I've stayed!
Great place and Location but no designated parking
This place is located close to State street. We were able to walk to the Funk zone, the beach and all over State Street. There are electric bikes right across the street which are very convenient. The place is clean, and looks just as pictured. We enjoyed our stay.I did not give it a 5 because there is no onsite parking, which I was not aware of based on the description of the place. It’s street parking only and the local residents keep the streets full with their own cars. IF I had known before hand I would give it a 5 rating because I would had planned for the lack of parking. We did find parking the first night right across the street but we had to move the cars before 9am due to street cleaning.I ended up parking in the public parking lot 3 blocks down, which does have overnight parking.
Pros: the location is excellent, being walking distance to State St and tons of popular spots. The host was very responsive. Overall good valueCons: the beds were not very comfy. Wifi kept going out. Showers were pretty small and it was unclear which was soap/shampoo as they were unlabeled.
A nice house in a beautiful location. A local Mom&Pop store next door was convenient. We walked to State Street. The Location was near Everything! And if we didnt want to walk or move our car to avoid losing our street parking, local ebikes were nearby. Thank you for sharing your home with us!local ebikes were available nearby rent
