About this property

Country Living in the City

We have a 2 story home with no bedrooms on the main floor. All bedrooms are upstairs or in the basement. The main floor has endless comfortable day-time living space. Your stay will be relaxed with deer and sometimes turkey roaming the yard. The outdoor space offers sun and shade, patio with TV, deck, comfortable seating and even a hammock. We live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The home is 4,000 sq ft and yard is 1 acre. I was a superhost on another platform but have switched to VRBO. I own a cleaning business so all will be neat and clean. Sturgis Rally reservations will require completion of a short term rental agreement.

The property was spotless and had a nice variety of seating in the backyard. Loved all the kitchen items available and the owner left coffee and chocolates for us. When we had a slight issue about the water in the evening, they responded immediately. Communication was great! Thanks for your hospitality. A great central location for all the steering in the Black Hills area.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was ideal—within 30 minutes of most major excursions in the Black Hills, making day trips super convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors were very friendly, which made us feel right at home.The house itself was spacious and well laid out, with multiple sitting rooms and dining areas that gave everyone plenty of space to relax and spread out. Outside, the yard was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather—even on rainy days! We especially appreciated the space for pickup basketball and football games, which kept everyone entertained.Our host was excellent—very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking to enjoy the Black Hills area in comfort and style!

Inviting Oasis

10 , Immaculate, beautiful home, all one's needs for ADL met. Check in easy, communication with Jeanne timely. Home is very central to all the sites in the area. Had one issue on a 100' day and the air conditioning was not working properly, Jeanne came and checked, then sent out a repair man at 10:30 at night, but not before making sure that it would be ok. Got it working. Then she compensated me for the inconvenience.Definitely a place you can stay and relax. Watch deer from the balcony. We named him, Scar.Thanks, Jeanne for sharing your beautiful home.

Adult Siblings National Park Tour - Bad Lands/Wind Cave

This house is amazing. It was spacious and clean and just as advertised. It was well equipped with everything we could need. It is in a great neighborhood. The outdoor space was great for grilling and relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. Our host was super responsive to our requests and questions. We used this home as our home base for all of our nearby adventures and it was perfect for us.

Great vacation with friends

We had a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids) for a week trip to the Black Hills area. We loved that the kids had a basement that they could sleep and play in while the adults had their own space. The house was in great shape and centrally located for us to visit Deadwood, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and all the other stuff in Rapid City. Thanks for a great vacation with friends!

Comfortable home!

Relaxing and comfortable stay! I agree with the previous reviews. - House was even nicer in person than the photos. Very clean and comfortable. - Safe neighborhood - Great communication with the host! Jeanne communicated the simple check in process 48 hours prior to check in and checked in with us several times during our stay. - Kitchen and dining space were very conducive for conversation during meal prep, starting your day, etc. - Great outdoor space which I wish we could have used more frequently but there was just too much to do in the area, we often didn't have time.

Black Hills Bliss!

What an absolutely lovely and amazing property! This is not just another rental - it is a home, and everyone can feel it. We spent an absolutely delightful week in this area of South Dakota, and my whole family enjoyed it even more because of this spectacular home. It is spotless, and every amenity (and more!) is included. Jeanne went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly and we were comfortable. She even went out of her way to check up on us during our stay. The house is so spacious and easy to access all the sites in the area. Our teenage kids loved it as did we. Can't recommend it enough!

Fabulous Time !

This property is just as the pictures depict. The check-in process was smooth, the house is absolutely clean, you could eat off the kitchen floor, the bedrooms were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The outside deck area allowed us (group of 10) to socialize, relax and truly enjoy our vacation. The wildlife were an extra bonus! The garage is enormous and allowed us to protect our bikes throughout the stay. Jeanne was readily available and always responsive. Her house has everything, and then some, that you need for a truly nice vacation. We hope we can stay here again sometime. It was a fabulous experience! Thanks again Jeanne for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Amazing home in Rapid City!

Our stay at the property was exactly as described and even better in person! The house was very spacious, with living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms spread out throughout the home. There were 12 family members staying together during our week stay, but we never felt crowded or short on space. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The home is very well cared for, both inside and outside. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and evenings on the back patio by the fire table. The host was more than accommodating and very quick to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property (great neighborhood and centrally located too!). Thank you! ❤️

Welcoming and relaxed

This home was immaculate and was supplied with everything you could possibly need plus more.the furnishings were lovely and there was more than enough room for the 6 adults and 6 children. Everyone had there own space and gathering spot. Front porch was a bonus and the back yard patio area with fire table was a great late night gathering spot. The owner responded quickly to every question and was always available. This was one of our favorite rentals. Highly recommend. Judy

Excellent Experience

We had a 10 person party attending Sturgis with 7 motorcycles, truck and trailer and two rental cars. Great accommodation all around. Perfect location to travel about. Homeowner checking in periodically if we needed anything. Perfect experience.

Amazing!!

The house was as beautiful as advertised. If anything, the house was more impressive than the pictures. Located in a great neighborhood and we felt very safe. Outdoor space was incredible. Enjoyed watching the deer walk thru the yard. We made great use of the outdoor grills and the big kitchen. Plenty of room. We had a group of 10 adults. Multiple areas to spend time together and also lots of space for when you need some time alone. Great host!! We had one minor issue and Jeanne was over within the hour to take a look. She was great, would check in every couple days through texting just to verify all is going well. Was great at communicating and making you feel welcome. We had an incredible time and can't wait to make it back! Would stay here again over and over again!

Nicest VRBO I've ever stayed in!

This property is expensive, but you get what you pay for! This was by far the cleanest house I have ever stayed in, and Jeanne has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is large which is great for bigger groups. We never felt on top of each other. Our kids had a blast playing in the large yard, and the location is very central to all Black Hills activities. Grab a group of family or friends and stay here! You won't regret it!

Great vacation get away

We had a great stay. There was plenty of space to be inside or out. We really enjoyed the backyard area to relax, watch tv and roast marshmallows.
