Lakefront Cottage on Moon Lake

Quaint cottage overlooking Moon Lake...or as my dad lovingly says..."its more like a shallow pond". For those who love a sweet quiet cottage get away with a gorgeous view, this is the perfect place for you. 2 Kayaks and a stand up paddle board are here for your use...on my shallow, but pretty lake. One bathroom, with stand up shower, with washer/dryer, and yes, my water heater all are cozied up in there together.
The space
Exposed beams, stone fireplace, hardwood floors in beds and family room, large covered deck overlooking lake, firepit. Home has wifi and roku sticks, no cable. TV in kitchen, family room and bedroom.
Basic kitchen supplies, nothing crazy...you are in a rural little cottage. Gas grill, Mr Coffee, 2 kayaks, one SUP, outdoor firepit, walking areas around lake. Queen & King beds.
Its a sweet, but small cottage, best 4 max folks. Bedroom doors do not lock, old time weird accordion things. Other oddities of this old girl...toilet a bit wobbly, along with vanity. You will see geese, ducks, occasional bald eagle (binoculars provided), muskrats, turtles and be serenaded by many crickets and frogs in the evening hours.

Charming Must Stay!

We had a wonderful weekend at Moon Lake! The house was super clean, well stocked, and in a great location with stunning views! Loved the personal touches and unexpected extras- games, books, crock pot, lots of firewood. We saw tons of wildlife and really enjoyed the whole vibe. Thanks Laura!

A perfect getaway

This cottage was so cute and relaxing. Just the peace and quiet I needed to get away for a few days. Bars and restaurants were a little bit of a drive but worth it. I hope to return again!
