We enjoyed staying at the Juniper House during our week in Torrey. The views were indeed stunning. The Juniper House had everything we needed following our days of hiking the beautiful surroundings. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay. Home is conveniently located near town and yet feels like you’re out in nature. Nicely furnished and appointed. Hosts were very communicative. We definitely recommend!
The house is in a great location just outside Capitol Reef NP, has stunning views off the back deck and is exquisitely furnished. The property is clean and well maintained. The check in process was easy. I wish we had longer on that back deck with that hot tub! The views were priceless watching the sun set.
We came up for a Father’s Day weekend or on motorcycle through capital reef and up route 12. The house was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Stunning view, starry sky small town awesomeness. Pack your swimming suit the listing doesn’t mention the hot tub

Would highly recommend making sure this host confirms your reservation after you book. I booked this property and VRBO said booked and it showed under My Trips. However the host never actually confirmed the reservation and this didn’t become apparent until check in day when we received no check in instructions from the host because another family had booked and was staying in the property. This left us scrambling last minute with two young kids to find an alternative place to stay.
Our family enjoyed this house very much! It was a great location for visiting Capitol Reef National Park. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. This is a clean, modern house that has amazing views off the deck. Highly recommend!
We have stayed in homes all over the world - and even have our own Air b n b- and this is one of the best we’ve stayed in! The setting was magic, everything so clean and well stocked and so comfortable. We didn’t want to leave! Best place in Capitol Reef area for sure!
The Juniper House exceeded all our expectations. It was conveniently located to the gas station and Capitol Reef, but still felt remote with its stunning views and complete privacy. The home was perfection. Comfortable, cozy and beautiful are all words I would use to describe it. We had no problem cooking all our meals in the kitchen and were able to watch all our favorite movies with the super fast WiFi. We can’t wait to stay there again!
This was great for our family of 8 -,only complaint is there’s no table - it was too windy to sit outside but we made do. The hot tub was phenomenal-what a bonus since it’s not listed as an amenity. Easy access to Capitol Reef Had enough kitchen stuff we made dinner 7/8 nights! You can see Capitol Reef in its entirety from the living room. And didn’t even have to go outside to see the eclipse - just viewed from the bedroom ceiling window!
I mean - those views! Stunning sunrise over Capitol Reef and sunset hitting the red rocks - all visible through the huge windows and back porch! The house is gorgeous, very well equipped with everything you need. We loved the loft, the hot tub, and the cozy fireplace as it was chilly in the evenings. A ten minute drive to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park and 5 minutes into the charming small town of Torrey. Excellent communication with owner. Amazing stay!
This is a lovely place. The site photos are accurate. The master suite is upstairs in the "loft", and two more bedrooms are downstairs. The view out the back patio is what drew us here. The living room and kitchen are large and very nice. We felt the sofas in the living room were dated. It was very clean except for the trays in the freezer, which had some kind of colored frozen liquid stuck to them. The hot tub next to the patio was nice and well maintained. Many birds visited the juniper trees in the front yard every morning. Although one might think that the house is at a remote location from the view out the back, it is not. It is just a short driveway up a hill directly off of Highway 12, just a few minutes from Torrey. We noticed no road noise there. Very quiet and very dark at night.
Very relaxing cabin with all of the amenities you need. Great location to explore Capital Reef. We loved staying there! The views are great and we even got to see a jack rabbit this morning!!
I was really looking forward to staying at the Juniper House and I was not disappointed. My mom, dad, sister and I stayed for three nights and loved our time here. The property is beautifully decorated, with absolutely stunning views from the balconies. It was freezing while we were visiting the area, so we enjoyed the views from inside by the gas fireplace. In addition to everything being perfectly decorated, this house is one of the most well stocked we have stayed in. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We found ourselves making sure we had enough time to come back from the nearby Capitol Reef National Park to enjoy the house. I hope to be able to stay again!
