We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-kept with great linens and reliable WiFi. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the pier. Everything about it made for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.
Super cute place! Everything was excellent. Our favorite part was the nook upstairs and the fireplace. The owner was great in responding to requests and questions. We highly recommend this place for your stay at Orcas Island!

Thank you for your kind words, Allison! So glad you enjoyed our Little Stuga on Orcas, we hope to welcome you back soon!
Perfect for overflow from The Stuga. Delightful little cottage with the sweetest window twin bed in the upstairs. Would not recommend the Little Stuga for anyone with steep stair aversions. Perfect hosts. Perfect weekend.
A cute and cosy cottage, suitable for a couple with young kids. Check in process was smooth and convenient. A slight caution for those with sensitive airways whom may experience throat discomfort, possible due to fire soots around the cottage. Erin was a wonderful host providing clear instructions and responsive to questions.
We had a wonderful time here. It was cozy, comfy, and just what our little family desired for our short winter getaway. The beds were comfortable, and it was so nice to have a small bed upstairs, in addition to the queen bed, that our 3-year old could sleep in. We found that everything we needed for cooking meals were provided, and coffee supplies were plentiful as well. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, the wood stove provided us warmth, and the location of the cottage felt private and safe (granted, it is winter and other nearby cottages were unoccupied). Definitely a 5-star stay for us.

Thank you for staying with us and for such a lovely review! So happy to hear you and your family enjoyed a cozy stay at The Little Stuga. We hope to welcome you back sometime soon. :)
This property was perfect for us. Two friends, two nights, we walked to the gallery, had a fabulous lunch there. We bought snacks and fancy coffee at the Olga store. We enjoyed the cottage decor and cuteness. The beds were very comfortable. Everything about the house and neighborhood was lovely.
The only trouble was we didnt understand the ferry reservations system! Make your reservations for both directions!

The stairs up to the sleeping quarters are so steep and short that most would find it dangerous. There isn't any air conditioning and only one window that would open had a screen. It was hot, we had to open the windows and of course the bugs were drawn to the light. There was some sort of bug infestation in the bathroom flooring, a literal pile of shavings and small bugs crawling around, it was not addressed during our stay. I sent Erin pictures, it was gross. The parking is between a rock wall and the road that services other homes, our 4 door sedan barely fit, wedged in between the cars from the house next door. The Wifi never worked, after many messages, and asking me to find the router and the extender which weren't on top of the refrigerator or behind the TV as stated, they just gave me the neighboring property's Wifi. Verizon service was a half a bar at the house. The toilet seat is so worn that upon first glance, I thought it was soiled. There was one roll of toilet paper for four days, they did direct me to go unlock their storage area to get more tp. The laminate flooring is not in good shape, with lifting and chunks missing out of it. The couch looked good but was poor quality, as you sunk into it. For just under 400.00 per night, being kind, I would say we were underwhelmed at best. Check all of my other reviews, I've never left one like this before.
Everything was perfect; a quiet property and clean space. The communication with the host was clear and appropriate. We had a blast exploring the island for two days.
The Stuga was a wonderful retreat just a short drive from downtown Orcas through Moran State Park. It's perfectly situated with views of gorgeous sunsets and natural light streaming in from each window (Which made for some fun pics!). We enjoyed the charm of the original features of the house paired with the modern touches. Overall the Stuga was a cozy home away from home for a girls weekend!
