We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Athée-sur-Cher and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is super cute and attached to the hosts’ home, which gave it a cozy, welcoming feel.The backyard was fantastic, and my son especially loved having the outdoor space to enjoy. The deck was also a wonderful place to unwind at the end of the day—or, in my case, get some work done in a peaceful setting. The Wi-Fi was excellent and made remote work easy.The two bedrooms were spacious, and the large bathroom—with a great shower and washer—was incredibly convenient. Everything was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed while exploring the local area.Although we didn’t get a chance to fully take advantage of them, I loved that there was a pâtisserie right next door and a local grocery store just a couple of doors down—very convenient.The hosts were lovely, incredibly welcoming, and very responsive throughout our stay. They were easy to communicate with, quick to answer questions, and made us feel well taken care of.The surrounding village was quiet and charming, with a relaxed small-town feel. It is right next to a church, so you do hear church bells, but that felt like part of the charm of staying in a traditional French village.Highly recommend!

Nette Gastgeber, sehr ruhige Lage. Wohnung mit schöner Terrasse, leider haben uns die asiatischen Tigermücken die Benutzung (geht nur mit Anti-Brumm) verleidet. Wenn man oft kocht, fehlt das eine oder andere in der Küchenausstattung. Restaurants findet man nur in den Nachbarorten. Ansonsten sehr gute Lage, um die Touraine zu erkunden.

Merci pour votre commentaire et pour vos appréciations sur le calme, la terrasse et la situation du gîte pour découvrir la Touraine. Nous sommes désolés que les moustiques aient limité votre usage de la terrasse. Ils ont malheureusement été particulièrement présents dans la région cette saison, notamment lors des périodes chaudes, et nous faisons notre possible autour du gîte pour limiter leur présence. Concernant les ustensiles de cuisine, nous regrettons surtout que vous ne nous en ayez pas parlé pendant votre séjour. Nous avons eu plusieurs fois l’occasion d’échanger, notamment lorsque nous sommes venus vous apporter quelques tomates du jardin, et nous aurions bien volontiers complété immédiatement les équipements qui vous manquaient. Enfin, le gîte est effectivement situé dans un environnement très calme et rural : les restaurants les plus proches se trouvent dans les communes voisines, à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous sommes en tout cas heureux que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour et l’emplacement pour découvrir la Touraine.

Le logement est simplement parfait, au calme, proche de tout et les hôtes sont hyper accueillant et très réactif. On a adoré l'intérieur comme l'extérieur notamment les poules qui ont beaucoup plus mais aussi les légumes frais du jardin. Encore merci pour l'accueil.

Diese Unterkunft war ein wirklicher Volltreffer,Sie liegt in einem kleinen Dorf in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zur Kirche, Bäcker und kleinem Supermarkt. Innerhalb von wenigen Autominuten sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten an der Loire und der Cher zu erreichen ( z.B. Schloss Chenonceau und Amboise mit mehreren Schlössern u.a. Schloss Le Clos Lucé).Die Wohnung war blitzsauber und verfügt über ein schönes geräumiges Badezimmer. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das große Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Küchenzeile bietet einen schönen Blick auf den weitläufigen Garten und die Terrasse.Die Vermieter wohnen im gleichen Haus und waren jederzeit ansprechbar und um unser Wohlergehen bemüht. Sogar die Tomaten aus dem Garten und frische Zitronenverbene für Kräutertee konnten wir genießen. Herzlichen Dank an Julien und Élise
