The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all dirty linens and towels in wash including all bedding. Add detergent to washing machine and wash on sanitary cycle(2hrs). Put linens in dryer before leaving and start dry cycle.
Dishwasher loaded, pod, and start.
Remove all open food from refrigerator, freezer, and cupboards. Discard and take out trash from bathroom and kitchen. Water all indoor and outdoor plants before leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Highly recommended

Wonderful and well-located building in the heart of the Pearl. Loft ceilings, excellent soundproofing, access to the outdoors, and house plants helped make the condo feel like a retreat from the city. Mattress quality is especially important for me in a longer-term stay and I was not disappointed. Three streetcar lines run right in front of the building making it easy to explore the city on public transportation. I rarely needed to be in touch with Meg during my 7-week stay, but the questions that I had were answered quickly and all of our communications were easy and kind.

Awesome Downtown Portland Property

Meg is an amazing and caring host. This property is in the Pearl District which is a prime location in Portland. Plenty of walking trails, restaurants and shopping close by. Two important factors for me are cleanliness and AC. This has both and when scheduled work had to be done on the roof and AC had to be turned off, Meg bought a portable AC unit for us. It worked perfectly. My only negative in writing this review is that this property may not be available again when we want to reserve. Thanks for everything Meg!!

When I'm not in Portland; I spend time in Oregon's mountains trail running and backcountry skiing, or surfing the Baja Peninsula. I have a mobile massage therapy practice in Oregon and Florida that are in all the hot spots. I love to travel and stay in new places. I want to give you the experience that I would want from a host. The tranquility loft is located in the heart of the Pearl. It's close to everything you will need within walking distance. We have restaurants, clothing boutiques, art supply, specialty markets, and Whole Foods within steps from the Gregory. We have parks, paved paths, endless trails in Forest Park, river access, and a beautiful city to enjoy. This luxury loft is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, large private terrace for a sunset bbq, or lounging around in the great room with floor to ceiling windows and an abundance of natural light. You will get a dreamy night's rest on the firm queen latex mattress with soft Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows for your preference. This secure and quiet building has you feeling like you are the only one here. It's perfect for working remotely with Super Fast Wifi, relaxing, or touring the city like a local.

What makes this property unique

This one bedroom luxe loft has an open layout with a fully stocked chef's kitchen, abundant natural light flows in through the floor to ceiling windows. You can access the private terrace just by opening the double patio doors off the living room and let the fresh air in. Watch the sun go down on your terrace then come inside to see the evening city skyline and the stars show off. You have everything you could want in a long term rental. When you feel like an early morning sunrise yoga and coffee you may step over the community deck on the East side of the building on the same floor. You may even get a peek of Mt. Hood from there. This deck has oversized lounging deck furniture to ease into your day, bbq in the evening and have a nice dinner outside with friends. We have Surfboards, bikes and outdoor gear for rent. We can stock your refrigerator with fresh groceries for your arrival, so you have everything you need to relax. We can schedule a massage for you at the loft. There is a secure parking garage in the building that you can reserve a parking space during your stay. All can be set up in this Luxe Loft just for you.
