Our family enjoyed our stay. The first few nights the weather was very warm and the house does not have AC. They did have fans, but a few uncomfortable nights. We Loved the location (next to beach, walking to stores and restaurants) and close to many other attractions.

Positiv: Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom schönen Sandstrand. Sehr gute Raumaufteilung für 2 Parteien mit Kindern plus 2 Paare. Grosser Pool. Viele Aussenplätze. Carport für 2 Autos mit Ladestation für Elektroautos (3.6 kW), plus weiterer Parkplatz. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gehdistanz (gut 10 Minuten). 2 gute, relativ teure Restaurants am Meer in 5 Gehminuten. Negativ: Im Vorfeld des Aufenthaltes zum Teil sehr lange Reaktionszeiten der Gastgeber-Firma. Während des Aufenthaltes war die Kommunikation gut. Das Haus und die Inneneinrichtung sind in die Jahre gekommen. Es war nicht sauber geputzt (Böden, Küchenabdeckung, ein WC, Terrassen). Im Aussenbereich staubige Möbel und fleckige Kissen bei den Lounge-Möbeln. Die Aussendusche ist völlig verkalkt. Die „sanfte“ Kühlung über die Canadian Wells war nicht spürbar. Entsprechend war es im ganzen Haus, insbesondere in den Schlafzimmern, unerträglich heiss. Das Wasser im Pool war so milchig trüb, dass man nicht bis zum Grund sehen konnte. Das Problem konnte, trotz verschiedener Massnahmen, während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht gelöst werden. Gemäss Gastgeber war die Wasserqualität jedoch zum Baden unbedenklich. Das Problem sei auf einen zu hohen Nitrat-Gehalt des Leitungswassers zurückzuführen. Störend war zudem der Poolroboter mit seinem Schlauch, der immer im Wasser bleiben musste. Die Zykaden in den Pinien im angrenzenden Naturschutzgebiet waren zum Teil sehr laut. Das muss man mögen. Nur 2 Hausschlüssel verfügbar.
