Welcome to Echota Haus!

Echota Haus is a 4BR/3.5BA upscale condo with treehouse-like views of the woods. Located in Echota, this vacation condo gives guests gated, secure access. The Echota club amenities include two clubhouses with swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, and two fitness centers. The two clubhouses have fireplaces, kitchens, libraries, pool tables, and more. Echota also boasts a private, 25-acre riverside park with a picnic pavilion and grill on the Watauga River, fishing ponds, and miles of hiking and walking trails. Echota Haus is approximately 500 feet from the indoor pool and hot tub.

The main living space has warm hardwood floors, a two-story stone fireplace with a gas insert, and a wall of windows overlooking the woods. Cozy seating in the living room surrounds the fireplace and the large, flat-screen TV. The open floor plan leads into the dining area, with seating for eight (8) at the main table and two at the bar. The wrap-around kitchen has a stainless steel fridge, granite countertops, and more windows overlooking the woods. A cozy outdoor deck features a gas grill and an outdoor dining table.

The primary King bedroom is on the main level with a flat-screen TV and an attached private bathroom. The spacious bathroom has dual vanities, a soaking tub, a water closet, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One has two queen beds with a TV and a unique play space for kids. The other is a full-over-full bunk room with an additional twin bed and a small TV. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with a combo tub and shower.

A lower-level family/game room includes a foosball table, a large flat-screen TV, a loveseat, and access to the covered porch. There is an Xbox One and an assortment of Xbox games. There are also puzzles and family/table games available. Also on this level is a King bedroom with TV and private access to the lower level porch, and a full bathroom on the lower level.

This property has parking for 2 vehicles directly in front of the unit. There is overflow parking for 2 additional cars at the clubhouse just 500 feet away. The house has a level 2 charger for Tesla and non-Tesla electric vehicles. The charging box and 24-foot cable are located against the siding, between the bushes at the end of the parking area. There is a J1772 connector available for Tesla owners who don't have one of these adaptors (please leave it on the box when done charging).

This property, located in Foscoe, is an easy 15-minute drive to Boone and Banner Elk and 20 minutes to Blowing Rock, with easy access to many of the High Country's favorite attractions like Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, and many others.

Weekend family getaway

Property and amenities were great!! Plenty of room for our family of 9. Lots of pots and pans to cook with, which for my family is wonderful, we often cook at home most. My only complaint, the downstairs mattress desperately needs replacing. I had to go sleep upstairs on the couch with my husband staying in bed. We literally rolled into the middle when sleeping together.

Weekend snow tubing trip for family

Loved this home! Close to slopes but located in a quiet, gated neighborhood. The community gym, indoor pool was an added perk for my college students. It allowed us (family of four, plus suitemates from college) to spread out on all three levels. However, the seating in the den allowed us to cozy up on the couch together too! Kitchen had all the necessary items to make gourmet meals for my crew! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect for our family - 4 adults and 4 kids. Great for grilling under covered porch in the rain. Coffee had a keurig, but it overflowed when making coffee. The boys loved the foosball table. Would highly recommend.

Great family home

This was a wonderful place to stay! Echota is a great community with the availability of the pool and fishing for the children There was plenty of room to spread out so we weren’t on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable and having the washer and dryer so handy saved a lot of steps because we used them everyday The kitchen was well stocked but the can opener handle was broken which made opening cans a challenge We would definitely come back and stay again!!!

Family ski trip 2022

We had a wonderful stay at the Echota Haus. It made for a perfect family getaway to the mountains to ski and relax. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable…especially the pillow top mattress in the master bedroom. Only negative I have is that the parking is SUPER tight for 3 vehicles and the hot water ran out quickly when we were showering. I highly recommend the Echota Haus!

Incredible stay!

Wow! We WILL be back. Carolina Cabins blew us away! This cabin had ALL the amenities, but it was the little details and little extras that made it stand out from other rentals. We were equipped with every possible accessory in the kitchen and most of everything was brand new! There were plenty of towels and bedding. We got snowed in and requested to be plowed or shoveled and within a couple hours we had a plow and two sets of Carolina Cabin employees bring shovels and EVEN offered to help shovel - WAY, WAY above and beyond. There were a couple minor things that I would mention- the bathrooms were a little dirty upon arrival and the fireplace had a bad thermocouple so it only worked for about half our trip. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will flag this unit to try and rent the next time we come back to Boone.
