The cabin was cute and cozy. Enough space to move around inside and around the property. Provided was paddle boards, kayak and pedal boat for enjoying the lake. The trek down to the lake is a little steep so wear good shoes. The area is quiet and close to town.

Beautiful Getaway!
My wife and I had an incredible time, and it was such a nice reprieve from our busy, hectic world. The lake was super clear and wonderfully warm. Such a great lake to swim in! The kayaks, paddle board, and paddle boat were very fun and relaxing. Beautiful view from the deck, and just so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be making this our yearly spot!
Great dirt bike riding in the area too, so bring them with like we did (not recommended with a larger trailer unless you are skilled at backing them up in narrow areas. The smaller enclosed trailer we had was no issue to maneuver, unhook to go explore for the day, back up, etc.).
It was a nice quiet place to get away for the weekend. We did have a little snafu checking in (ultimately a mix of user error and unclear instructions) but they were helpful and kind in getting it resolved! We already discussed staying again sometime.
The area is beautiful and we had a lovely time enjoying the fireplace, lake view, and hiking trails near by. Even in winter, this cabin is cozy and has a calming atmosphere.
We had a great time! It was a family weekend, we just hung out together, played games, snacked on food that my daughter prepared for us. The cabin was a wonderful place to stay, thanks!
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook anything! Overall very clean, it is a cabin so expect dust and leaves! Beds were clean and the bathroom was amazing
We had a magical time at this beautiful cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful lake, had it nearly to ourselves the whole stay! We paddle boarded and kayaked and dozed in the sunshine on the dock. The one big detractor was the air beds had holes in them, and the host said the pullout couch was uncomfortable, so it was a little tricky to sleep 3 friends comfortably.
This is a beautiful property. The view of the lake is amazing!

Beautiful secluded relaxing place!
We enjoyed relaxing our stay at the beautiful place. The feel and vibe inside and outside is exactly what we were looking for. Wish we could have stayed longer. I think we’ll be back.
Fun little rustic cabin. We enjoyed a few days there. The kitchen is well stocked and for such a small space they make good use of it. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious The large yard was great for our pup to enjoy. As others have noted the walk down to the water is a bit treacherous and the step in and out of the tub would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. But overall it’s a great little cabin. We had a great time out on the water with the kayak and paddle board. The water was very nice even on the cooler days.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience at the home. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cozy space, found the kitchen well stocked, and that your pup had a great time in the large yard. It’s great to know the beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious for your stay. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback about the walk down to the water and the tub step, as it helps us provide clear information to future guests. We're glad you made the most of the kayak and paddleboard and enjoyed the water, even on the cooler days. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.
Perfectly thought out little cabin nested above an accessible lake with options to enjoy the lake itself. Quiet little community with sweet views and seeing all the wild rhododendron bushes was an added treat!

Amazing property!
The cabin was a perfect choice for our wedding at scenic beach park near by. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, it had an amazing lake view, kayaks, a paddle boat, fishing rods and more! The host clearly cares about this property and it shows! I'd highly recommend it!

Nice location, but slightly under maintained
This property was a nice retreat for our dogs with privacy, but lacked consistent maintenance. A variety of amenities were available, but aspected such as kitchen cleanliness needed improvement. Linens were available, but varies stains were present on the mattress and furniture.

Hi Christian,
Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your review. We're glad the home provided a nice, private retreat for your dogs. We're sorry to hear that the maintenance, including the kitchen cleanliness and stained linens, did not consistently meet your expectations. Your comments are truly appreciated and help us strive for better experiences. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we truly hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide an even better experience.
Cleanliness was adequate for a cabin in the woods. Bathtub shower is not good for those with stability issues. Cound use a grab bar. Overall was a quit pleasant stay.

Wonderful stay! This is an extremely well-stocked cabin in a small, quiet, private lake community. There is a small walkable playground, and we caught the property in the tail end of the season for kayaks and paddleboards, so we still had access to them. We managed to cook full meals, ANYTHING you can think of is provided, just bring food. We were 3 adults, and 1 toddler, and it was super comfortable and safe. There was plenty of stuff for younger ones in the cabin (crib, kids plates, kids cutlery, kids life vest etc.), and games. There is also plenty of space to spread out, and relax. I agree with some other reviews about cleanliness being questionable. Certain things like cutlery, cups, plates, and sheets didn’t feel as clean. We washed anything we used just to be safe.

Great View
Cute rustic spot with great lake views. Anyone with mobility issues should probably not stay here. The walkway down to the lake is steep and uneven. Children would also need to be very careful.
