Property needs two new throw rugs and deep cleaning under stove elements. Ceiling light fixture needs to be cleaned. Beautiful location and nicely equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the deck area.
Good experience staying at the Aspen Lead Lodges. Dogs are allowed which was great and location is great for access to Grand Lake and Granby. Will stay again on our next getaway to Grand Lake.

Loved the location!
I loved this cabin and location was perfect, we enjoyed the views and central location to Winterpark, Estes Park and RM National Park! We plan to stay again in the fall!
Loved the road house bar and grill just down the road. Buy groceries before going up to the lake as prices are as high as the lake is! Cabin had a really nice propane fireplace that kept us cozy and warm!
Nice cabin in a nice neighborhood, close to everything

Everything was great and we had amazing time. I’m giving it 4 stars only because I think the carpet and kitchen and bathroom mats are very in need of change. The carpet is old and doesn’t look the best. The towels were very clean and smelled really nice. The kitchen and the refrigerator were clean as well. Thank you

Beds were very uncomfortable except for one, cleanness was great nothing very dirty it was all tidy and clean to stay in. vents for heaters where very dusty and fan in bathroom didn’t work, just carpets have seen better days, place smelled like mold, drool stains on a few of the pillows, and definitely wasn’t newly renovated like it stated, overall was a decent place to stay and worked probably won’t be staying there anytime in the future unless things are really updated like it says. Good location and area though love that.

First time staying in a cabin. Could not have picked a better place. Clean, Amy the host was wonderful. Close to Grand Lake and entry into RMNP. Will stay again in the future.
This is a cute little cabin tucked into the woods with plenty of privacy. It has a fully stocked kitchen, a wood burning stove and two bedrooms and one bathroom. The address is Grand lake but I would say that's a stretch as it's pretty much all the way on the outside of town. Our only real negatives on the location is the carpet and sofas were stained. I think this is somewhat expected though on a property that allows dogs. The bed was not the most comfortable either. But we still had a wonderful time. Make sure you bring towels if you bring your dog with you to wipe their feet. For the enter the cabin. I will say the owner was extremely nice, friendly and easy to communicate with. And that goes a long way in my book!
Loved the Grand Lake area and downtown itself. The tempo was just right, and there was a Repertory Theater as well for a little culture.
The people were warm and welcoming as was the atmosphere. In rural areas my wife and I never know what to expect, being an interethnic couple, but we felt no negativity, except from individuals, but that is to be expected nowadays.
As far as the cabin and its setting, we could not have asked for more. It was comfy, yet rustic. It had creature comforts and modern amenities, but still had the feel of a cabin in the woods.
Another great thing about it was that we could bring our fur babies with us at no extra cost!
The only downside was that the other family staying in another cabin did not clean up after their fur babies.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Quite disappointed
We tried to give the property owners more than enough time to make things right and sadly they elected not to.
They offered to send over cleaning staff to undertake what I would estimate would be upwards of 3-4 hours of true deep cleaning to get the cabin back in to shape. Since we were with dogs, we would have had to give up all the day's plans to go be in a car somewhere with our animals waiting for the cabin to be cleaned.
A refund of the second night, and of the cleaning fee would have been the fair outcome.
We ended up leaving after only one night.
We struggled to see what may have been renovated as the carpets were worn through to the subflooring, the appliances, sinks, faucets etc, were similarly worn. The fireplace looked potentially new, and was a nice feature.
Our biggest issue, however, lies with the cleanliness, or lack there of. From hair and dirt in the freezer, to cobwebs in every corner, to food and dirt in counter crevices, to feces and pee-covered toilet brushes, to spiders nesting in various places, to hair and finger nails being stuck to the front of the oven, to previous guest's trash being stuffed under beds.
We took upwards of 50 photos around the property and sent through a dozen or so to the hosts so they could inform their cleaning staff of the outstanding issues, and that was after we cleaned for an hour!
The neighbours like to roll around drunk in loud trucks at 4 am, but the location was nice, and you aren't too close to other guests.
