It was a very clean and lovely place to stay! We had 8 women in the home and never once ran out of hot water! The beach is very very close like the listing said! Overall I would recommend staying at Luna Rosa!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The house is clean and the hosts keep it stocked with everything you need inside and out. No need to pack and umbrella, cart, towels, sand toys, etc. they have you covered.In addition to the house being awesome, we unfortunately had our flight canceled on us and moved to the following day. We have a 3 year old, and a 1 year old, and this was busy season. We called Kate and Sara to see if we could stay another night and unfortunately the house was booked but out of shear kindness they started calling other vacations rentals on our behalf looking for us and sure enough found us one! They truly helped us out big time in a time of desperation and we weren’t gouged on price for checking in at 7pm at night and leaving at 7 am the following day. All to say, it’s nice to stay in a nice house that’s fully stocked and in a great spot, but it’s much better when the people whose house you’re staying in are just great people. Kate and Sara are that.

We absolutely loved our time here and hated to leave. Very family friendly (I have a 1yo & 6yo) close enough to walk to the beach, but also public parking is right around the corner. The location is perfect for us.The home was comfortable and clean. The host is amazing! What I really like the most is how there was literally was all kind of puzzles and games for the fam. I cannot wait to come back!

This beach house was a great fit for our family of six. It was just a short walk to the beach and they have everything you need for beach entertainment at the house. I packed extra beach items because I wasn’t sure if there would be enough. Extras weren’t necessary as this house had everything we could need for the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family took a spur of the moment vacation to Gulf Shores and this property magically fell into our laps! Absolutely beautiful Beachhouse in a perfect location and everything you could ever think of or wish you had, is probably already in the home! Everything from board/card games, kitchen items, coolers, bandaids, and an assortment of shampoo/conditioner/lotion etc . The real cherry on top was the amazing assortment of beach items available! Chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, wagons, and a beach cart. This was the first beach trip ever that we didn’t have to buy a single thing! The house is not directly on the beach, but about a 5 minute easy walk, if that. Huge plus to not have to load up the car with sandy things and children each time we wanted to go down to the water! Kate was super kind and very quick to respond with questions! We will definitely be visiting Luna Rosa again!

Staying at Luna Rosa was the best vacation decision we have made yet. Kate the host made everything so easy for us and everything we needed was already at the house. She went above and beyond thinking about everything a family might need to make Luna Rosa feel like a home away from home. If we thought we needed anything we just looked in the place it would be at our own house and there it was. From sunscreen to a lighter for the grill to utensils, a blender, paper towels and trash bags for dirty laundry;) You name it and its probably already there. The house was clean up to date and decorated beautifully. The air conditioning worked great and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer on site for laundry. The walk to the beach was less than a 5 minute walk. We were off the main drag in Gulf Shores and it was very peaceful. The Lagoon Pass Park boardwalk was just down the street and made a great after dinner walk to see the sunsets at the beach. Communication with Kate was amazing from the moment we booked all the way till we arrived home. Her and her sister have done an amazing job with this place. We highly recommend you book it. Except when its our turn next!

Great place to stay.

My family had a great time. The house was beautifully decorated for a summer, beach vacation vibe. We had 10 people, age range from 4 to 58 and there was plenty of sleeping room for everybody comfortably. When we walked in we were in awe of how nice it was and on the table was pasta ingredients for our first meal after traveling from Ohio, a nice added touch. There were plenty of towels and anything you might have forgotten at home was there for you. There were plenty of seating on the porch. The only downfall(not really) was after a nice walk to the beach( which btw was very close for walking) and after walking on the beautiful sand and walking back, there were stairs to climb, but it was well worth it. There was everything you would want to take to the beach at the house no need to bring anything from home. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. My whole family enjoyed every aspect of the house and Gulf Shores. 10 out of 10 stars.

Fun in the sun

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked and we had everything we needed. There were beach carts, sand toys, etc. The beds were comfy and the home was cozy. Beach access was fairly close and the lagoon was a short walk as well.

Luna Rosa 5 Star Property

Luna Rosa was a huge hit for our group. Our favorite VRBO yet!! The property is so close to the beach. The house itself was definitely more than expected and fully stocked, it had everything you need plus any thing you can think of you will need. Don't pack any extras you won't need to bring them. You only need to your clothes and food. Thank you, Kate, for your hospitality. We Will be Back to LUNA ROSA.

Wonderful Place

We really enjoyed our stay at Luna Rosa. They had everything you could think of for a fun day at the beach and to relax afterward. The location is perfect! A quiet street and short walk to the beach.

Fun family getaway.

It was perfect! Just a few minutes walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood, lovely boardwalk at the end of the street, huge place to hangout. It was the perfect beach house and location. We will book again!

Family Vacation

The home was beautifully decorated, very clean and organized with comfortable beds. Everything was provided to have a great beach vacation. My only disappointment was the location. It was a short walk to the beach; however, the beach area was not very pleasing to the eye. Also due to traffic, travel to restaurants and entertainment took several minutes. Overall, the property was a great home for my family of 7 and one toddler. I just wish the location would have been in a different area of the beach. If you are wanting to be in a quieter area, this is definitely the place for you!!!
