This is a great family cabin. THere were 2 couples, but could easily have taken the 2 teenagers. The entire place was warm and cozy and soo beautifully appointed. We all agreed we will come again!

Wow! This is one of the most pleasant cabins we’ve stayed in. So nicely furnished and decorated, clean, everything in good condition, comfortable. Highly recommend, we’d stay here again. The communication, check-in, and check-out were smooth. We came in an electric car, and it was easy to get a bit of extra charge while out to dinner in town.

This was a great spot, so nicely maintained, cozy, and had everything we need. We loved the house and big backyard and enjoyed the game room too! Host was responsive and would love to return!

Clean and comfortable cabin in great area! Owner thoughtfully considered all needs of guests. Close to walking trail, completely fenced in large backyard for our pup to explore. Very open and quaint downstairs living area. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is my birthday trip with my family and I enjoyed every moment of staying at this beautiful place. I really like the interior decor and comfortable settings. Every piece of the furniture even the kitchen wares is just perfect for relaxing cabin life. Easy access to the backyard from both main floor and upstairs makes my fur baby’s life so much easier. I did put away the faux fur area rugs to avoid getting soiled by my dog despite wiping his paws each time getting inside the house. I also like the idea that leaving your shoes outside to keep the house clean ( I do the same at my own house). Thank you Marian for simple check in and out instructions. Definitely a great memory for my bday.

Beautiful, Fun Cabin

This cabin was so fun and beautifully decorated. The cabin was one of the best parts of our vacation. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy our time. We took walks around the neighborhood everyone morning and evening with our dogs. It was amazing.

This was the perfect place to come with my doggo for my birthday. It was difficult to convince her to come into the cabin because she loved the backyard so much. Such a good time.

Great cabin for the family

Great experience. Cabin is well maintained, clean, nicely decorated and a great place for a family. Enjoyed the spacious backyard with outdoor lighting and waterfall features. Would definitely return.

Amazing family time

This was our first stay in this cabin, and we were very pleasantly surprised how nice and family friendly this place was! Cozy yet spacious, it has everything. The owner was very quick to answer all the questions we had. We are hoping to be back very soon!

Charming and peaceful

Marian’s cabin is so cute, full of character and very clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to town and to hiking trails. The fully fenced backyard was great for our small dog. It would be a very fun property for a family or two couples. We enjoyed hiking the Ernie Maxwell trail, coffee at the Alpaca Cafe and lunch at the Brew pub. Overall a great stay and a fun weekend in Idyllwild.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My sister, niece and my 10 year old dog were looking to escape the big city for the weekend. This place was perfect for us! The backyard is so lovely. We loved it so much I asked to extend our stay by a night which the owner responded immediately and I was able to book the extra night with absolute ease. The cabin is stocked with everything you could want. Will definitely look for this place again next time we want to come up to Idyllwild area.

Great Little Cabin With Modern Amenities

The place is cute, furnished well, the kitchen is stocked like something out of a TV show. The linens and towels are fluffy and new. The yard is multi-tiered and we’ll layed out for lots of lounging areas. It’s located in a well established neighborhood of homes close to hiking trails. I enjoyed my month there!

My husband and I and our 2 Golden Girls thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean and cozy cabin! The yard is fenced in, well kept, and has lots of outdoor seating and a very relaxing water fountain. The living room sofa is recliner style which was a treat for watching movies. Our dogs were welcomed with food and water bowls and a comfy dog bed. The host was very responsive and answered my texts within minutes. We would love to stay here again!

Home away from home!

The moment we opened the door, we felt like we were walking into our own cabin (if we had one!) It was the perfect little get-a-away. Our kids loved the loft and play room... had we stayed a little longer, I'm sure we would have taken advantage of the play room more. The weather was beautiful and we found ourselves exploring all of Idyllwild. The best part for me... the coffee bar! Wish we were still there... thanks again.

The cabin is beautiful and just like the photos. The backyard is serene, large and great for a dog and relaxing. No dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lots of steps so if you. have any disability it would be an issue Very clean! Beds extremely comfortable and bedding was wonderful lots of nice little touches. Hot chocolate, mashmellows , spices etc provided. I’d stay here again.

Even better than pictured haven in the mountains

This cabin or little house is so unbelievably beautiful. Every single detail impeccable. The decor is gorgeous. The little trays filled with goodies on each bed are so thoughtful and feel like a high-end hotel. The beds are very comfortable and blankets and Sheets soft and cozy. The layout is wonderful for couples or two families or two groups of friends and the little back house is a nice additional space. The backyard is huge with lots of separate areas and the waterfall features are gorgeous. Close enough to town yet far enough away on a beautiful quiet street lined with trees. We will definitely be back again. And the host seems lovely and responds quickly with communication. Thank you so much for a wonderful three day weekend!

The cutest cabin ever! Do yourself a favor, stay here.

What a treat this cabin was for our family! Not only was Marian super responsive and helpful, but her cabin is divine. The pictures online don't do justice. Where do I begin? This cabin has so many fine touches of comfort from plush robes, quality towels, and bedding, exceptionally comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful outdoor lighting, comfy furniture, and even a dog bed. The appliances/electronics are updated and fully functioning. The cabin is very clean and decorated farmhouse chic. It's honestly adorable! Due to rain and sleet, we spent a day inside playing board games, making hot chocolate (provided), and snuggling in blankets with the heat blazing. Then the snow came and we spent the rest of the day outside throwing snowballs while the dogs ran and played in the large, fully fenced backyard. The location is great, not too far from the town, in a peaceful neighborhood. This cabin is perfect for a family or even a girl's weekend away. We'll be back for sure. Thank you, Marian, for providing an exceptional weekend away for our family to bring in the New Year. We absolutely loved it!

Beautiful Cabin

We spent 3 days over Thanksgiving in Dream Among the Pines. It is one of the most beautiful cabins we have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice. We were greeted with a welcome tray with yummy goodies, toiletries and a welcome note. Right away we felt warm and cozy and welcome. Even our dog had a special spot waiting for her. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals including spices and cooking oils. And the coffee/tea/hot cocoa bar was my favorite! There were marshmallows for the kids hot cocoa and flavored syrups and creamer for my coffee. The living room was a cozy spot for us to play games, read books and watch television in the evenings. The sofa is VERY comfortable. We all slept well in the bedrooms. The master bedroom is absolutely gorgeous with tall, wood beam ceilings and windows with views of the tops of the trees. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided by the owners. I also appreciated being able to use the full size washer and dryer with laundry soap available as well. The backyard is big and has plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the mountain air and beautiful trees all around. We enjoyed playing giant jenga on the deck of the playhouse and our dog loved trying to chase squirrels and chipmunks. The owner Marian works hard to make her home an inviting place for guests. The decor is beautiful and all the little details make the space feel cozy and warm. We will definitely plan another trip here soon. If you are looking for a comfortable, cozy, warm and inviting place in Idyllwild, look no further. This cabin is a gem!
