Thank you for your interest in our home! After using this privately for the last few years… kids sports are getting in the way of our home away from home so, WE ARE BACK to renting!

Located in Jewett, NY, just 2.5 hours North of NYC, a picturesque piece of the Catskill Mountains, come explore Upstate NY and all it has to offer! Our private 5 bedroom, 3 full bath home has been recently updated reflecting the new owners to bring you all the comforts of home. Brand new carpets in the upstairs bedrooms, new linens/bedding/decor, new furniture in upstairs living room, freshly painted, deck refinished with new furniture, new dishes/pots/pans and plenty more.

Endless possibilities to explore, or just sit back by the large fire pit and relax as this home sits on 6 wooded acres. Our property has wooded trails you can stroll on and enjoy the peacefulness.

Just minutes away from 2 ski resorts: 5 miles north to the base of Windham Mountain ski resort and 5 miles south to Hunter Mountain ski resort. Come enjoy skiing, hiking, zip lining, golfing, mountain biking, explore waterfalls or just relax... there is never an adventure in all four seasons that is too far for both kids and adults to enjoy!

Our home sleeps 10 comfortably and is packed with amenities! Open floor plan on the main living floor includes the kitchen, dining area and main living room with double sliders that open to the wrap around porch with plenty of seating, including Adirondack chairs and large picnic style table. Having two living rooms on separate floors offers plenty of space for a large group to spread out. Lower level has a large living area with comfortable seating, foosball, shuffle board, smart TV with Xbox One and Xbox 360, game closet, plenty of storage for your skis/snowboards and two sliders that open to the front yard and second outdoor seating area.

This home includes a gas fireplace in the upstairs living room, plenty of seating in the dining area and kitchen island for entertaining/eating/playing games, fully appointed kitchen including a wine refrigerator. We also offer a gas grill, stone fire pit with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Walking trails on property and plenty of yard for activities so everyone can enjoy!

Go out and explore Windham and/or Hunter just minutes away to the center of town which offers plenty of restaurants, shopping, music and more!

What a great spot

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this cabin in Jewett. The home accommodated our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 children) perfectly. Thoughtful touches make this home a 10, such as noise machines in the bedrooms, cozy blankets for the couches, glove/boot dryer, and lots of games. We especially appreciated the separate living spaces — kids in the game room and the adults upstairs! The home is perfectly situated between Hunter and Windham, with easy access to both mountains and restaurants.

Magnificent vacation property!

The house is absolutely gorgeous-clean and stocked with every amenity possible! Linens are included-fun arcade and tons of games to play! Our family had amazing time together-was sad to leave! Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to vacation in the best Catskills home possible!!

Beautiful cozy home

We had a wonderful long weekend! House was immaculate with plenty of room. Kids loved the basement with foos ball and shuffle board. Bedding was lovely super soft and comfy beds!

Ski weekend with family

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this home while skiing with our extended family. Although we only skied at Windham, Hunter Mountain was also within only a few minutes driving time. The house was very warm and cozy and communication with the owners was extremely prompt!

Cozy, après-ski house

wonderful house

The house was spacious with lots of rooms. Also the house has a everything you can think of so if you forgot something the house will most likely have it. We enjoyed our stay and loved the deck and firepit which had tons of firewood on hand to use. We would definetly stay there again.

Great weekend away

We had a great time staying at Melissa’s house for a long ski weekend. The house is gorgeous, with plenty of space for two families. The location is perfect pretty much smack in between Hunter and Windham Mountains. We roasted marshmallows by the fire pit, enjoyed exploring the trails in back, cooked lots of food in the well stocked kitchen, and loved lounging in the downstairs area complete with foosball and a great shuffleboard table. Can’t wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay! Melissa was responsive, helpful, and kind from the moment we booked and through the duration of the stay and check out. The property was impeccably clean, cozy, comfortable, and very well equipped for four adults and three toddlers to enjoy together. Everything was modern and working well. Wonderful birthday family celebration

When we arrived at the home we noticed how clean and orderly the property was inside and out. Everything we would need was readily available. The kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary gadgets. We successfully made all the meals while we were there without having to go buy anything but the food. The owner quickly and thoroughly responded to all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this home for family get togethers of all ages.

relaxing getaway with everything you need

We had an amazing time with an extended weekend in Windham thanks to our stay here. This was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend of board games, good food, and catching up. Temps in the 90s limited the hiking we planned but the downstairs shuffleboard and foosball tables filled in the time perfectly and when the night cooled things down we were fortunate enough to have a new moon and stars galore. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and inside + outside had plenty of seating. The Windham area is a great place to go year-round and we'll definitely keep this property bookmarked for our next trip. Thanks so much to the owners for quick communication and hosting a great place!
