ON LAKE HAMILTON! Amazing location close to everything! Boats welcome! Firepit! Kayaks! 10 minutes to downtown! Comfortably sleeps 8. 3 KING beds, one in each bedroom, while kids/friends may enjoy the 2 futon sleepers & additional fold out twin in the ottoman in the sunroom/funroom! Sunroom can sleep 3-4 smaller people! Firepit, Charcoal Grill, Pacman Arcade game, cornhole & board games! Fun! We have two separate living areas so everyone has room to spread out in our designer mid century modern (mcm) vibe home.

You won't find a more convenient location in the area. We're less than 2 miles from I-70 and only 3 miles to Oaklawn Racing and Gaming! Starbucks, Walmart, Kroger and lots and lots of shops and restaurants are all within 5 minutes of the house.

Have a boat? You can can launch it just around the corner at Hot Springs Marina - only 1/2 mile away! Dock tie-up in season: March - October. Plenty of parking for a trailer in our circle driveway.
Don't have a boat? Pontoon rentals are also available at the marina. Or enjoy our two kayaks - free for our guests to use during your stay along with water toys! *Winter pool is November to March with lower water levels & no boat docking at rear of home during winter pool. *In summer pool season, Average sized boats (pontoon/bass/fish & ski) may tie up to the walkout/tie up dock-(not the slip) boat questions? Just ask us!

Kids will LOVE our sunroom/family room with two enormous "Big Joe" bean bags and vintage board games & Pacman Arcade too! The grown ups will love the covered back deck with patio seating, a swing for 2, large grill and awesome views of the water. Relax in the Adirondack chairs around the firepit & make your own s'mores! Perfect spots for that morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine under the stars.

note: one of the futons is in the master bedroom, the other 2 futons (each sleep one) plus the twin foldout bed are all in the sunroom

Met our expectations. Plenty of room to hang out. We enjoyed watching the geese while sitting on the back deck. We appreciated the accommodating later check out time. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a great house and it was perfect for our family of six. It was bigger than it seemed in person! Loved the retro decor, comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoyed the fire pit area, swing, covered patio and kayaks. Plenty of room to play games inside and out! Good communication with the host. Close to grocery store and activities. We all had a great time and look forward to staying here again!

Very clean, fun and homey atmosphere. All accomodations met. We purchased extra toilet paper since there wasnt much extra.We also rented a boat down at the marina. Its a little hard to swim in the back. Very shallow and there was a lot of trash in the water. Kids enjoyed all the games and outdoor activities. Besides the swimming, the vent in the master bath sweats a lot above the toilet so water dripped down to the floor. We put a towel down so it would catch it. We would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!

We loved everything about this property! The pictures don’t do it justice! Super close to town, but also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to be return guests!!

I have a family of 4 with kids 10 and 12 and the property was terrific and accurately described. The Retro Ranch has great vibe and floorplan. After realizing I didn't book enough nights, the owner helped find a very close rental to stay. I would stay here again.

Friends weekend

What a wonderful stay we had. The house is very very clean and we loved the retro decorations and furniture. The beds were so comfortable. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of room and the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great. Very close to everything we needed. Our hosts were wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway spot!

This was a wonderful rental! The house is perfect for a family vacation. It was easy to find, on a quiet street, and had a gorgeous view. The house was clean! The linens, the bathrooms, the kitchen, all was clean and ready. I have zero negative things to say and would not hesitate to rent here again if we return to the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ♥️

Wonderful lake house close to everything.

My family stayed for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable house. We launched our boat and docked it at the house. The yard is spacious with plenty of outside games, fire pit and seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and plenty of room for the 6 of us. We used the grill and cooked in the kitchen, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything that we needed. The driveway was easy to use with a boat trailer. We would definitely recommend this home and will look for this home when we return to Lake Hamilton.

Relaxing Vacation in Hot Springs!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Retro 70's house. It was very relaxing and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and one infant. We used the kayaks (what a blast!). The sunsets were beautiful and the cool mornings were perfect for coffee on the back deck. The only disappointing thing was the record player does not work - I was personally looking forward to listening to albums on the turn table - I am a 70's girl! We definitely recommend this location and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely lakeland

Such a wonderful lake house. Everything exceeded my expectations! The owners answered all questions promptly! The house was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The central location of house was amazing. Getting to restaurants, nearby attractions and shopping was super easy. The house came stocked with all needed essentials! The beds and bedding were also very comfortable! Many memories were made at this lake house!

Hot Springs Getaway

Very quiet area. Enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing by the lake. Management was right on it when we had a minor issue with the sheets in one bedroom being very stiff. Sent out a very friendly person to replace the sheets with softer sheets. Great local FM channel in the 94.7 range that played cool 60s and 70s music with very few commercials.

Recommend Retro Ranch

We had a fun time at the retro ranch! Plenty of room for the 8 of us. The kids enjoyed the big beanbags and the older Nintendo! We also had fun with some of the many games there. It is decorated in a fun, retro way and had several things I remember from my grandmother’s house! The beds were very comfortable! It was fun to use the kayaks but where the house is located on the lake is not a very good place to swim. The location is right in town and very convenient to just about anything.

The house was great, we loved the decor. Plenty of space for the whole family. The only upsetting part was the lake was drained and the view was of mud, not water. The months it is drained should be included in the description. We would have considered renting downtown or another part of the lake if we knew there was no water.

A mid-century retreat

Over the holidays between Christmas and new years, our dispersed family gathered in Hot Springs to reconnect. As artists, designers and writers, we found Retro Ranch to be a perfect outlier from the usual vanilla rentals. Retro Ranch is a happy, quirky, and unique place to stay. Despite being a small house, it lived large, with lots of gathering space and an airy, open feel. The retro collection of furniture gave off a mid-century modern vibe that takes one back into a simpler, and more innocent time. It comfortably accommodated our 6 adults, two pre-teens and small, shy dog.
