TVNC # 1161 Beautiful views toward Hanalei Bay and the adjacent mountains
TVNC # 1161 Beautiful mountain and lush garden views through a tropical prism. These will be your first impressions and lasting memories of this welcoming home. The Hanalei Vista House is an all cedar, rustic home built 15 feet off the ground which enhances views of Hanalei Bay and the adjacent mountains. A wrap around lanai is positioned to especially create opportunities to savor a Na'pali sunset while enjoying a bbq or glass of wine. (OR BOTH) A Corian countertop is the only thing separating the designated chef from enjoying the same views as other guests thru the sliding glass doors. The kitchen is modern and user friendly with a gas range and most items needed to create a multi course meal The primary bedroom has a tiled full bath. The second full tiled bath is convenient to the other bedrooms. There are vaulted ceilings throughout and the loft provides extra space for last minute guests or older kids but is not recommended for younger children. A 3 to 10 minute drive brings you to golf or shopping in Princeville or one of the countless north shore beaches adjacent to Hanalei This vacation rental is completely owner operated and has a Kaua'i County vacation rental certificate : TVNC # 1161 NOTE: Should going to Ke'e Beach or hiking the Kalalau Trail be in your plans. be sure to research all requirements for permitting , entrance to Ha'ena State Park and shuttle service and costs. Try goha'ena.com on the internet and plan 30 days in advance. FINAL NOTE: listed base rate is for 2 guests and each additional guest is $12.50 per night per guest. Large parties will incur an extra cleaning deposit which is refundable if housekeeping does not invoice above the base $275 cleaning fee. FINAL FINAL NOTE: this house is arguably the best value for a 3/2 single family dwelling in the P'ville/ Hanalei locale but it is one house removed from the Kuhio Hwy. There is road noise, most notably during the day but dwindles to a trickle in the evening and night. Some guests find it annoying while others feel positive aspects of the property vastly outweigh this negative.

Rustic but beautiful and cozy. Lots of windows and fans. Big comfortable lanai with nice views. Great beach amenities provided by Jane. Kitchen was well equipped and very nice. Modern appliances. Location is very convenient. Very happy overall.
The house was under ten minutes away from the quaint Hanalei. The cedar all over the home gives off a great vibe of old Hawaii. We will definitely rent again when we come back.
Location was great in regard to proximity to Hanalei and key area in the island. The noise of the road kind of took away from feeling like we were immersed in nature, but still had beautiful landscape to look at from the house. The house has plenty of sleeping availability. However the furniture and everything is extremely dated. I don’t mind old furniture if it’s comfortable, but key pieces of the home could use some love or updating. Including pillows! The loft also is a bit dangerous. Our daughter was sitting on the bed and ended up falling trough the opening - which then took us to the ER. Luckily only had a minor concussion, but still not an ideal set up, even for older kids. All in all, we liked the house, but the lack of updates and being so close to the road would probably keep us from coming back.Mahalo.

Aloha, I appreciate your review. I take vey seriously negative comments. The choice of a vacation rental should enhance your island experience and I regret that the house did not do that.. First, the issue of the loft} in 25 years as a vacation rental,, the loft has never been an issue and is a plus since with 2 twin beds it provides extra sleeping space. When prospective guests ask about it for children , I say that generally I would not recommend it for children under 7 or 8. . Your daughter is 8 so it seems like it should have been appropriate for her to use. I am grateful that it was not a more serious event.. I am considering options to address this concern. The house is on a parcel that abuts the Kuhio Hwy but is located at the rear of the parcel. The road noise can be an issue depending on a persons perspective. Most guests feel the views and lush gardens make up for the adjacency to the road. I try and make the photos accurately depict the house. The house is furnished with mostly vintage and antique pieces. and I wondered if that was "dated" I appreciated that you clarified that it was actually specific to the couch, which you characterized as "uncomfortable". I will give that some thought. I truly regret that the house did not meet expectations and I hope on your next Kaua'i visit you are able to find a rental that more closely aligns with your expectations. With Aloha, Jane
Excellent location to explore the north part of Kauai
Lovely, spacious house with incredible views. The kitchen setup allowed us to create some delicious meals. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend.
The house was very charming and the perfect location for all we did. The views from the deck were stunning. Perfect place for morning coffee and to watch the birds. Communication with the owner was very good. I would stay at this house again. Close to the beach, restaurants, food trucks and shopping.
This house was large, charming, clean, and so comfortable for me and my family. The high, beamed ceilings and many windows made it feel spacious and bright. The highlight was the wrap-around porch with stunning views of Hanalei Bay, mountains, and lush, tropical foliage. I would 100% recommend this house!
We loved our stay at the HVH. Instructions to find the house made it super simple, and the location was fantastic. Great view from the balcony overlooking the Hanalei Valley, and we loved all the different trees in the backyard. Would highly recommend this place for your Kauai vacation!
We had a wonderful stay with family at the Hanalei vista house. It’s very close to some wonderful beaches and the amenities of Princeville. The views from the house are beautiful. Check in and communication with the host was very easy.
My family and I absolutely loved this house. The views from the deck were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
We gathered for a short 4 day catch up before heading to Maui for a global event. The accomodation was perfect, spacious and clean.Highly recommend your place to others, I hope to return one day.
We loved our stay. Waking up and drinking coffee to the view is memorable. There was very good communication before our stay with detailed instructions. If you have a bigger family this is definitely the hot spot. Very close to Hanalei Beach, Restaurant and Gift shops.
My husband & I had a great 5 night stay at the Vista House. It felt like home. All instructions were very clear, we didn't have a single issue. The owner was wonderful to chat with prior to arriving. Comfy bed. Well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms were dated, but we would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful space. Better than photos. All the wood & tile & natural light made for an exemplary home. We were so happy.

Aloha, A big mahalo for taking the time to share your thoughts on the house. Yes, kids seem to be drawn to and love the loft...their own niche but still close to the adults. Aloha nui, Jane
