Great property, would stay again.

We had a great time staying here. This house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space for an even larger group. We had two couples and two teenagers. It was nice having two master suites, so each couple had a spacious bedroom with their own full bath. Each of the teenagers had their own bedroom upstairs, and a full bath to share. We easily could’ve had a few more people, especially if they were kids. The kitchen was set up well for cooking, we made multiple meals, and had some local friends of ours over. The grill worked great, and there were extra propane bottles if we’d have needed them, which was a nice touch. We also had a nice little fire in the fire pit at the lake. Though it was a bit chilly the week we stayed for really enjoying the lake, it was well set up for swimming, kayaking, or chilling by the lake. The hosts were very communicative and easy to deal with, and the house was exactly as described. Everyone in our group said they’d stay there again, and recommend to others.

A beautiful home with a great lakefront environment

The Hosts were extremely nice and helpful in the entire process. They answered questions and helped me understand the offering so I could book with confidence, The home is spacious and welcoming in design. Generous spaces throughout including a very nice kitchen and a basement gameroom that was very enjoyable. Great family vacation

The house was just as pictured and perfect for our family. We had our three sons, their wives and our 7 grandchildren. We spent many hours down at the lakeside, playing in the warm water. We also rented a boat from a nearby marina for a couple of days so it was nice to have the dock that could accommodate it. Overall, a great place for family fun!!

Amazing location, house and property!!!

We loved our stay here, the lake is just stunning and the house is very comfortable and thoughtful in how they stocked everything. We had a small breath work retreat at my healing center, and this is where we housed the facilitators and a few guests and it was the perfect spot for lake access and meals. Highly recommend! The hosts were so nice and accommodating to all of our needs!

There's something for everyone at this house!

Despite not the best of weather, our entire family had an amazing time! The house is perfect for our extended family and the location is great! The lake area and toys made for entertainment and fun for all ages- there's something for everyone! Owners are super nice and responsive making us feel very comfortable with all the house amenities. Thanks for helping make some Great memories this summer!

Great Family Stay on Candlewood Lake

Our family of 10 had a lovely time at this beautiful lake house. The house is comfortable, spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Lots of indoor and outdoor space and the play room in the basement was a bonus. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. The lake area with the dock and cabana was our favorite spot to hang out. We rented a pontoon boat on two days, and all enjoyed exploring the lake. This was a great vacation’s for all of us—we’d love to return sometime soon!and we hope to return soon.

We loved this house! Everything was exactly as described and our family enjoyed our time here. Having the dock across the street for our boat was so great! Beautiful Home, Great Location

We were excited about this home based on the pictures and found it to be even better in person. Every room was fresh and clean, the house was well stocked with everything we needed, and the lakefront property and cabana kept us occupied all day. Conveniently located with grocery stores and shops nearby. The house is spacious enough to hold a large group very comfortably. I highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Great fun on the lake!

This house is large and can accommodate groups of all sizes. It is super dog-friendly which is great when traveling with pets. The house is equipped with everything you need, including two kayaks which we really enjoyed. The house is located across the street from the lake but the private dock was awesome for jumping into the lake and enjoying a glass of wine at sunset.

Fun weekend

We had a wonderful time at the house with our friends. The house is very clean and both the master bedroom mattress on the first floor and the second floor are super comfortable . We didn’t use the other rooms. It has a great view of the lake.

Beautiful stay at lovely home

This home is quite lovely and the manager/owners were very responsive throughout booking and during our stay and were very easy to work with. The waterfront area is fantastic, however, it is across the main lake road, and while the speed limit is 25 mph, most cars are going well above that. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the waterfront which is not obvious from the listing photos. This presented a challenge for my 86 year old mother and sister with knee issues. So this is something to be aware of when planning the trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and the living room furniture very comfortable and held all of our guests. I would definitely recommend this property but with the road and stairs down to the waterfront, it may not be ideal for everyone.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time at this property. Plenty of space and activities for the kids, great air conditioning and hot water heater, amazing laundry room, beautiful lake with paddle boat. One area of concern for us was how bright every room was early in the morning with no curtains or room darkening ability. We also had to get creative with the sleeping arrangements as well since 2 of the beds are futons and one was on the floor without a base. Overall, we had a great stay.

Wonderful late August vacation

Our extended family lucked out in the weather! The hot and sunny days meant we spent a lot of time by the dock on the lake. The kids (ages 4 to 12) caught many small fish right off the dock and spent many happy hours on the floating mat. The adults enjoyed the lounging in the shade and the cabana was nice for storing our things. The location of the house on a quiet cove was ideal. It was also only a short drive to the marina and restaurant. House was clean with comfortable beds. A very enjoyable few days for all my family!

Wonderful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the this beautiful property. The outdoor space was very well maintained and allowed us to be outside, playing games even though the temperature never hit 60! The sun exposure was perfect. We imagine the summer and fall allows for using all the waterfront toys. We were able to go for a lovely walk to the state park and see that there are many hikes found locally. . We loved having an evening of games with pool, ping pong, Pac-Man and wii! It was the perfect space to have our Easter family gathering. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space for us to create such memorable family time!
