Built in 2001 this three bedroom - 2 bath post and beam home sits directly next to beautiful haystack Golf Course in Wilmington, Vermont.

This house is in a small private community ten minutes from Mt. Snow, 30 minutes to Stratton and only two miles from downtown Wilmington for shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from Hermitage Resort and Haystack mountain.

Harriman Reservoir is nearby for boating and fishing.

There are many hiking and snowmobiling trails in the area.

You will enjoy the large deck with access to and views of the golf course.
The exposed beams combined with lots of natural light, comfortable furniture and a new 36" flat screen TV make this home truly unique and very relaxing.

No hassles - Would definitely stay again

Thank you, Alastair Smith, for a perfectly hassle-free stay in your comfy post and beam cabin in a quiet, wooded setting (but overlooking the Haystack golf course). Everything was as described and expected. We would definitely stay here again, if again in the area. No complaints whatsoever.

Perfect getaway

Spectacular house!

Spectacular little spot! Beautifully well stocked kitchen and comfy beds and couches. Very clean and nearby downtown. Great walking if you like hills. Views of golf course. Very happy with this stay

This beautiful property was everything and more. The serene landscape of the golf course the stars at night truly breathtaking. The home was exquisite and spacious with the best kitchen and equipment. The grill cooked the best steaks and the hot tub was the bonus on extra bonus the house and hot tub was pristine and Mr. Smith had made sure the hot tub and house was beyond perfection and stocked making him the best host. The smiths truly made you feel like home away from home with the board games and memories that me and family have created our wedding anniversary/ family vacation was what we definitely needed and the smiths have given us just that !!!!!

Family Cousin Weekend

This property was perfect for the 4 teenage boys I brought. We were only a few minutes from Mount Snow and we were able to ski all day and have dinner in West Dover and/or Wilmington. We all made memories and had a great time. This was our first time to Mount Snow. The house was cozy and had everything we needed!

Ski Getaway for family of Four

This was our first time in Vermont, and we loved it. Our girls, 10 and 8 years old, loved the spiral staircase, having the whole upstairs to themselves, and the hot tub. We chose this place because of its proximity to Mount Snow, which is only about 15 minutes away. The property manager is fantastic and responsive to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this place.

My 70th birthday getaway

We had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for us and my sister and her husband & dogs. The TV and internet were perfect! The golf course was right out the door. Can’t wait to return!

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice, the house had all the amenities we could ask for, and was well stocked. The neighborhood felt safe, though it was busier than we expected. The overall location was great and we were happy to discover a pickleball court and trails nearby Thanks for a great stay!

Wedding Weekend

Came to Wilmington for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house was just as described and we enjoyed having fires in the fireplace and one night using the Hot Tub. We had nice views across the golf course. The kitchen had new appliances and the house was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend this home to anyone coming to the area.

Perfect Vermont Getaway

This is our 5th winter stay and we also stayed in the fall. Very cozy and comfortable! Perfect location on the golf course which is groomed for cross country skiing right out the back door ! Hot tub is new and works great! Close to restaurants and shops in Wilmington and also Mount Snow! Host is easy to communicate with and responsive to questions or concerns if any. Looking forward to next time. I highly recommend!

Fantastic get-away!

We loved everything about our experience - great house, fantastic location and excellent communication. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the grounds were perfect for both our 5 year old AND our 13 year old (pleasing them both is not an easy feat!) We certainly intend to make it back.

Beautiful escape

This is a beautiful place to escape for a weekend. My wife and I have come here the last few years and it is always amazing. Alastair is communicative and friendly, the house is clean warm and inviting, and the area is peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 we will be back!

Enjoy Vermont!

This is our 4th time enjoying this comfortable, clean and cozy spot! Located on Haystack golf course provides a beautiful view out the slider and windows. Snowshoe or xcountry ski out the back door. Brand new hot tub is the best! Convenient to Wilmington shops and restaurants as well as Mount Snow. I highly recommend ! Check it out ! We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful weekend

The property was just as described. It is located on a dirt road with houses close by. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the owner left a number of things to have on hand. I only needed coffee filters. New appliances. Cute decor. Communication was great.

Cute, clean and comfy

We had such a great stay! This place is very clean and very well stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay. The hot tub was so nice to have after a long day of skiing. Fireplace was a major bonus as well. Great communication. The bed downstairs is a bit on the smaller side for a couple. But that’s just a personal preference and not a critique. Totally worth it. Already trying to make time to go back this season. Thanks Al!

Outstanding host and beautiful property

We had a fantastic experience at this property. It's a lovely, cozy home, very comfortable for up to six peoplke, nestled next to a golf course. Lucky for us, the course was covered with a foot of snow. This made for a large space to walk, hike and play in, great for the kids and dog. Host Smith truly made us feel welcome in his home, paying great attention to various details, such as dried and split firewood with firestarters for tenant use. The hot tub was pristine and new as were the appliances. The drive to Mount Snow was easy, the town of Wilmington is also close by, quaint and cute. We plan to return to this property next winter. 4x4s or AWD recommended for the unpaved class 4 roads leading up to cabin.

The cabin was so homey and comfortable. The host was very gracious even refunding us a portion of our money when the hot tub was out of commission. Very clean cabin and a very enjoyable relaxing experience!!

We loved our stay at this quant little chalet. We recommend taking a walk on the golf course, just outside the cabin. The views were stunning. The fireplace was dreamy and used every night. It’s a cabin, needs a few minor repairs but nothing that takes away from your stay. The hot tub is nice to soak away the day of sight seeing. The kitchen had everything you need. The beds upstairs were very comfy however the main bedroom downstairs bed wasn’t so much. W/D were like new and worked great. We very much enjoyed our stay. The fall leaves were gorgeous!!!
