Gorgeous Rustic Ranch House & Farm Stay on 955 acre Ranch & Berry Farm-Sleeps 15
_______________________________ Beautiful California classic Ranch House located in a pristine wild oak grove and savannah wilderness on the edge of Santa Barbara Wine Country.
Large, private, beautifully landscaped grass area. Combined with the courtyard and patio, perfect for family reunions, private group gatherings, or any outdoor event.
GUESTS SAY THEY LOVE STAYING AT RESTORATION OAKS! World class wine tasting ('Sideways, the movie area) and vineyards, beaches, hot springs, hiking and biking trails, the Danish town of Solvang, Antiques, Nojoqui Falls, golf courses, an awesome zip line, the ostrich farm, the Chumash Casino (gambling/concerts) and more are all less than 15 minutes away. Albertsons grocery store, CVS Pharmacy, restaurants and convenience stores and everything else you might need during your stay is just 5 minutes north in the little town of Buellton.
:: DESCRIPTION :: The Restoration Oaks Ranch- Ranch House is a historically genuine ranch house that was home to cattle ranchers (cowboys) working this area in the last century. Great for small to medium sized groups looking for modern amenities, great decor, comfort, and location convenience in a natural, rustic setting on a 1,000 acre working Ranch and Berry Farm. The Ranch House and adjoining lounge (an additional cabin-like lounge room for playing pool, darts, board games or just hanging out) are located directly off Highway 101. Just over the backyard berm is Santa Barbara Blueberries, a world-renowned UPick berry farm. There are miles of private dirt roads on the property, great for hiking, jogging, and mountain biking. Groups will enjoy the rolling hills, canyons, valleys, and seasonal creeks and ponds. During winter and spring months the grass is always green and the ponds are often full. The views are always beautiful and there are many interesting areas to explore.
WIFI for $50 per night, two smart TVs, and a tuned Kawaii piano are a few of the extra touches that make the Ranch House at Restoration Oaks an enjoyable place to host retreats, small family get-togethers, relaxing vacation getaways, small weddings & other events.
For a real ‘laid back’ treat, try star gazing. There are no city lights out here. The stars shine brighter than many are used to, and relaxing under the night sky is easily one of the least strenuous ways to spend the end of a great day.
See you at the ranch!

We had the best time. The property is beautiful, very convenient location right off the freeway but feels like you are secluded. Very comfortable for large groups. Lovely outdoor space.

The property, hosts, and location were all fantastic. We found a nice short hike nearby and had great access to all of the wineries. Not too far a drive for lunch or dinner in SB as well — thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our group really enjoyed staying at the ranch. It was spacious and had great indoor and outdoor spaces, including a fire pit and lawn! Ed gave us a farm tour and we picked raspberries and blackberries. Hope to make this a yearly tradition!

Perfect place for a large group. Plenty of space in main house to spread out and a separate building that has a large game room. Close to Solvang, close to beach and local hiking trails.
Property is great to take walks and the fire pit was great to sit around in the evenings.

This place was beautiful and amazing for the retreat I led. Even though it’s next to the 101 freeway- it still feels very private and secluded. Hiking the trails was also perfect. We saw deer, hawks, wild turkeys and owls I’d definitely use this property again.

The house was a nice place to have our family get-together. The house is located on a large ranch property that is spacious and we wished we would have had more time to explore. It was also great to have the blueberry farm nearby within walking distance. Lastly, the owners were very communicative and helpful with their information.

Shay is AWESOME! We had minor problems when we checked in and Shay took care of it immediately. Easy to communicate with host, very responsive. Thank you Shay for letting us stay.
This is a beautiful place to come stay with friends/family! Very close to Solvang, wineries, etc. The bedrooms have some interesting layouts, but for us that was completely fine! A really cozy rustic cabin - had the fireplace going both nice which was lovely. Beautiful area to walk around on the property as well

For the second year in a row, we enjoyed a lovely retreat for college student leaders. The property is in a beautiful location and worked really well for our group. The hosts are amazing and very responsive to any requests/questions. We even enjoyed a tour of their farm next door and then picked raspberries and blackberries to enjoy. There is even a fire pit and twinkly lights over the lawn. We hope to come back many times in the future!

Me and a group of 12 girlfriends comfortably had a blast at this stunning location. Secluded but not too far away from town, close to the wineries, and a true full kitchen! I’ve stayed at places before thah boast having a full kitchen for everyone in your group and have been disappointed in the past; but this exceeded my expectations! I was able to cook for everyone for all our meals with ease.
Would definitely stay again!

The property was beautiful. The only problem was there was a horrible septic smell coming through the light switches.

Thanks for your review Erin! As Ed explained on the phone, a brand new septic system can sometimes cause odors when the weather is very cold. Glad you enjoyed the Ranch!

Why they chose this property
The expansive, all natural surroundings of 'The Ranch', as well as access to nearby wineries and plenty of other things going on, really does make our location perfect for hanging out with friends, enjoying family get-togethers, or just spending time hiking, exploring, and ...appreciating all that's there.
We really do love the fact that others can also experience this uplifting environment and enjoy similar times while staying at Restoration Oaks.
What makes this property unique
When I’m out riding on our dirt roads, I feel like I'm a million miles away from civilization—but if I need something, I can drive for 5 minutes to town and get just about anything I want. I also enjoy picking our seasonal blueberries and photographing the native (almost untouched) landscape.
Of course, the house itself is a joy to stay in. The air conditioning might be my favorite thing, but I also appreciate the high-end amenities we've built into the house. I especially enjoy playing the piano any time of the day or night without having to worry about disturbing someone else.
The way the outside areas flow and connect with the house allows us to all be together while enjoying smaller group discussions—at the same time.
