Inside, you'll be greeted by central air conditioning, free WiFi, and great views from the oceanfront living room and balcony. There's a small kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table for everyone, and a new 40' TV in the living room for your after-dinner entertainment.

The Polynesian is an oceanfront building located right on the boardwalk between 3rd and 4th Streets. In the surrounding blocks, you'll find all sorts of dining, shopping, and entertainment, from Ripley's Believe It or Not! to Trimper Rides of Ocean City.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Balcony directly over boardwalk is great. 180 degree view of ocean & beach is very enjoyable. Rates are reasonable. Parking extremely close to building & elevator for unpacking & packing. Anything you need is close.

Great place, would stay again!

The apartment (Polynesian 308) was very comfortable for a group of 2 to stay. Location was very convenient to the front of the boardwalk with shops, restaurants, and beach very easily available. Check in was a little bit of a hassle with having to drive down to 53rd street but was easy enough to get information from the lock box. Enjoyed that there was a keypad to enter the apartment instead of a physical key to cut down on the number of things to bring to the beach. Place was clean and appliances working well/well kept.

Spring getaway

The Polynesian is conveniently located on the OC boardwalk making it easily accessible to all the attractions. The condo is a nice spot for one or two people looking to go to the beach. Check-In and check-out procedures were easy and smooth.The balcony is deep which was great when it rained because i could sit outside and not get wet. However, you can see your neighbors if you all are on the balconies, so privacy was a little questionable there.The kitchen is tight, and the ceiling in the bathroom is low; if you are 6ft tall, you might hit your head. Overall, exactly what i needed for spring. If you want to be in the thick of it for summer, then this is a great spot. If you are looking for peace and quiet, go to higher streets.

Ocean City Maryland

The realtor company, Vascara, who managed the property was absolutely terrible. Their customer service was very rude and non helpful AT ALL! We had a problem with the lock on the rental and we were dismissed as if we need to solve it ourselves. I will never use Vrbo ever again if it involves Vascare

We had nothing but problems with the Polynesian since we arrived. Long story short we never received our starter package that include our soap, toilet paper etc, or door lock never locked, so our apartment was never locked the whole time we were there. There was a leak in our room the was dripping down two floors so for one day we ad Plummers in our room trying to fix a leak and cutting holes in the wall. Every time I called customer service they said they would put in ticket and then they were going to have a manager call. Very had our problem solved and manager never called!

The good and the bad

The location of this condo was great. It's clean and good layout. The bed is very small and super soft mattress. I am 6'2" and my feet hangs out the bed. The sofa bed was worst. I booked a 2 night rental but only stayed for one night because my back was bothering me. If soft mattress was not an issue for me then this would be a great stay.

Ran poorly

Check in delayed for cleaning, once ( when cleaning person was done she let us in) realized keys given did not fit door. Could not lock door to go out. Took until next afternoon- with tons of calls - saying someone will be there in a hour. No one ever came.

Loved this unit!

Have loved everything about this. From booking, to staying and checking out. I work the front desk of a hotel back home so I pay attention to a lot of details. The location, the ONLY thing I’d change is being about to see the Farris wheel better, but nothing you can do about it. Loved the view (ocean front) , the cleaning was top notch. They even leave you a vacuum! And I don’t know if it is what they do or if it was left by the previous people who stayed, but there was even a boogie board in the closet. We have found the spot that we will wanna stay at every time we decide to return to OCMD!
