The Adagio is located on 59th Street in Ocean City, Maryland, and this well-appointed condo is the perfect place to spend a beach vacation with someone you love! You'll have a private furnished balcony with direct beach access that is great for enjoying your first cup of morning coffee. Conveniently located mid-town, the Adagio is close to many local favorite restaurants and shopping venues, and if you ever feel like cooking, the suite's full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare wonderful meals. Additional amenities include central air conditioning and a private washer and dryer. Don't forget to explore the shared pool and hot tub while you're here.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Comfortable beds, lovely wall art, great location, nice pool and hot tub, good parking. Condo is nice and spacious. Perfect for our group of 7. Vacasa the property management could be a lot better. No starter supplies in the condo ( toilet paper/paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc) just what was left from the last renters. Bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were clean. Living room area needed swept and mopped. Sheets, towels and pillowcases were very clean but some of the comforters/quilts were stained. All in all i would stay here again. I would just bring the essentials with me so that i would have them in arrival.

Comfortable Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks

Overall, the stay was very close to what was advertised. The space was clean, comfortable, and worked well for a family weekend getaway. The location is ideal—just steps from the beach—even though the ocean view is partially obstructed, as noted in the listing. A couple of minor drawbacks: the master bedroom could really use blackout shades, as it gets quite bright by 6 a.m., and one of the double beds was noticeably soft and lacked support. Otherwise, a great spot for a relaxing trip.

Great Oceanfront Property

We enjoy the Adagio and being able to step off the patio right onto the beach. The bed arrangements suited our family of 8 fairly well. Liked the linens and towels. Overall property was fairly clean and comfortable.

Nice location. Some stuff needs to be fixed or replaced. Love the style of chair in the unit but they are not good for use very uncomfortable used chair from patio. We would visit again.

Its a very nice condo. It's right on the the dunes. Only down fall is you can't see the ocean on 102. Pool and hot tub are nice. We had the pool and hot tube to ourselves during our stay. Would stay here again. The paintings on the wall and decorations in the place made it feel like we in a fancy beach home.

Overall a decent stay and would stay here again. Chairs could use replacement/maintenance and besides a dirty shower curtain which we had Vacasa send over a replacement the unit was clean- you could tell the carpet floors had just been washed as well.

Furniture is broken and unusable.

We've stayed in this home several times over the last 9 years and we love the size, location and the indoor pool! However the furniture has continued to deteriorate over that time. It has reached a point that we won't consider this home again. Some of dinning chairs are so wobbly that they don't feel safe to sit in. The recliner and the sofa bed in the living area were both broken and unusable. It is sad that the furniture has fallen into such disrepair.

Dirty

It was a struggle getting the keys to the condo. The young ladies at the office were very confused and kept tell us our condo wasn’t showing up. Upon entering the condo, it was really dirty. Mud and sand all other the floor. Multiple flies all around. The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes. Bathrooms had hair all over the floor. Great location, but extremely door clearing.

A lot wrong and broken

I love this condo and have stayed here 3 years. This year was a disaster. One of the couches was utterly destroyed, the frame bent, mattress missing, dangerous to sit on. Certainly can’t use it to sleep. The washer did not work at all. It took 4 days to have it fixed and by the third day had to go to the laundry mat. The refrigerator door had three shelves missing and/or broken. When you’re asking for help from Vacasa and someone in Belize is in charge it’s a little discouraging and disappointing. Vacasa needs to manage these properties efficiently, earning their outrageous fees which we pay.

July 4th we had a family vacation, 6 adults and 2 children. There were multiple issues with this place. The location and the layout of the condo is very good . The problem was the place was dirty, vertical blinds in both the living room and master bed room are broken, one rollout couch would not completely close, the screen on the sliding door was 75% off, there was a broken toilet seat, vacuum didn’t work, missing a fitted sheet on master and a stained mattress pad, kitten chairs not stable, one bathroom light was broken. The biggest issue was the washing machine was broken could not get it fixed during our stay. Spent way too much time trying to get it fixed , had bad communication with the Vacasa people dealing with the issue - every time I called or went to the office I got a different answer from different people. Finally a manager got involved the last day and attempted to make things right. Unfortunately the washer issues took its toll on our vacation. This place a major cleaning and repairs greatly needed.

Location is great

The location was great in midtown. We attended the St Patrick’s Day parade. The condo is nicely decorated but definitely needs updating. The furniture is worn out and rickety and the bathroom doors don’t lock. The ceiling has water spots everywhere and there was a good size hole in master bathroom wall by the tub. The plastic corner protector strips are filled with dead bugs of some sort. Directions for trash cans and pool are nonexistent. We did not receive our welcome package of starter items which isn’t a big deal but helpful. Bathrooms did not have toilet paper and frying pans need to be replaced do to being scraped down to raw teflon. Kitchen is stocked but not well for larger families. It looked like they are starting to fix up the bedrooms with new furniture and closet organizers. It was satisfactory cleaned the main issue was probably the age and updating required at this time. We enjoyed ourselves being able to get to the beach and activities that we needed to do. I would consider renting again after checking for updates. All in all in was a nice place. Just some tweaking needed

Pros and Cons to Adagio 102

Pros: Close proximity to lots of restaurants, bars, shops; beach front access and the beach was not very crowded during the time of year we were there (mid June); the unit is spacious and comfortable and includes two parking spaces. Cons: The unit was not as clean as we would have liked; there was noticeable sand on the floor; bathroom counters and toilets bowls needed to be wiped; coffee maker appeared to be moldy; the sliding screen door in the common area was ripped, which meant that bugs could easily get in; there was a noticeable smell of ammonia (almost like cat urine) in the kitchen, it dissipated after a few days, but was kinda gross when walking through that area; the garbage disposal did not work. Overall, the place was not filthy but it could have used a good vacuuming and and extra wipe down. There was also a large stain on the ceiling in the master bath, from a possible leak in the unit above. I contacted Vacasa and asked to have someone come by to clean the unit. They said they would put in a ticket, but no one ever showed up. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it would have been nice to step into a clean unit. The linens were clean, beds comfy and the showers were clean, so it was livable for the time we were there. However, I will probably steer clear of this unit again in the future unless they make some significant improvements to its maintenance.

Great location but...

I arrived and the condo was not properly cleaned. Floors were dirty, microwave, etc. Thank goodness I brought my own cleaning solutions. They did come the next day and cleaned floor. Someone at Vacasa offered me cleaning refund, but I've yet to receive. The linen, bath towels, and kitchen utensils were well cleaned and perfect for use. Beds were comfortable, but dining and living room furniture way to old and needs replacement in a big way. Beach was lovely and we left the condo so clean, the next tenants should be happy.

Place was a pig style when we arrived, blankets had slime and glitter on comforter . All tvs were unplugged along with router and every wire. Washer machine did not work, floor dirty, old clothes under furniture. Tub in master shoots water all over when handle pulled up, sheets not washed and expired food in cabinets. The location can’t be beat! Being able to walk out right from your patio to the beach is the best. A few critiques to bring this to a 5 star review: the unit desperately needs a new vacuum to manage the sand on the floors, whoever does the maintenance between guests should really pay attention to detail in a post covid world. We had food remaining on the floors from the previous guests. The ceiling in the master bath is in terrible condition from a leak from the unit above. Cobwebs in the ceiling and floor nooks and crannies. And the chairs at the dining table are in need of repair - the adults weren’t comfortable sitting on them and they were flimsy under the children as well. In general, the furniture could use an update.
