About this property

Gorgeous Kiawah House with Expansive Marsh and River Views!

This house offers a true Kiawah Island retreat with some of the most expansive marsh and Kiawah River views on the island. Centrally located just six blocks past the second gate, guests can conveniently enjoy all that Kiawah has to offer.

Upon entering the house, the living room includes a cathedral ceiling with huge windows showing off the expansive marsh and Kiawah River views and a large wall mounted TV. The dining room includes a dinner table that sits eight.

The wrap around kitchen includes another table that sits six along with four bar stools for extra capacity. The kitchen is stocked with all necessities for eating, cooking, and cleaning, with a standard refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and wine cooler. An additional living room off the kitchen has another large wall mounted TV. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to begin the day with a cup of coffee or enjoy a cocktail at sunset. The outdoor deck in the back allows for an intimate experience with the marsh wildlife.

The master suite on the main floor includes a king bed, great views of the marsh and Kiawah River and has a large wall mounted TV. The master bath includes his and her vanities, a large walk-in shower, and a separate tub.

Two of the bedroom suites on the second floor include King beds and wonderful views, and one of the bedrooms has a private deck. The third bedroom on the second floor includes a queen bed and two twin beds. The office located on the second floor includes a pull out sofa bed for an extra guest.

Bed linens are included. Guests will also have access to five or six bikes to enjoy exploring the island with the beach just 1 short mile away.

The RBL number is RBL22-000020, and the approved number of parking places is 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway.

The marsh view and sunsets are amazing! There is plenty of space for 10 people to comfortably stay. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. I would highly recommend this house.

What a view!

Stunning Marsh Views

This stay was last minute and a holiday week. The owner got in touch with us soon after booking and gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. We've stayed on Kiawah numerous times, and this property did not disappoint. The back deck is wonderful for enjoying the views of the marsh. Inside the layout is perfect for a group with space for gathering and enoigh privacy to quietly relax. Having bikes available was an added bonus.

Girls Trip!

I would have given the property a higher rating and REALLY wanted too given that John the owner was so responsive and communicative. However, the place needs some attention. We think a good coat of paint on the inside, fixing some of the mechanical issues like the dishwasher, shower heads, clean the carpets, replace some carpets with new flooring, a good deep cleaning, etc would go a long way. We absolutely loved the view, the house, the location, etc. It truly is magical but just needs some maintenance attention or a major facelift bringing it back to outstanding which will then match the rates and competition in the area. I truly wanted to give John 5 stars across the board but in fairness cannot do that.

Amazing home

Our family of 8 (parents, 3 adult “kids” and their spouses) gathered for a 60th wedding anniversary and 80th bday celebration. We found this amazing place to call home for 4 nights. The home is charming very comfortable and spacious with a good floor plan and a well stocked kitchen for folks who enjoy cooking. Communication with John, the owner was terrific and he was always timely and responsive to any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the bikes to ride to the beach along a beautiful paved trail. Golfing was not a part of our trip but would have been wonderful!! We enjoyed some fun Charleston activities so be prepared for a 50 min or so drive to the city. However it was so worth the drive “home” …. home to peace and quiet except, gentle breezes and beautiful sunsets!! As John said to me, once you are home you won’t want to go out again. So true! Highly recommend this home.

excellent vacation rental

Beautiful property/ beautifully decorated. Close to Kiawah shops and restaurants, sanctuary and just a quick bike ride to the beach on a bike trail. Unbelievable marsh views with gorgeous sunsets. It has all the amenities of home with very comfortable beds and seating. The owner was very responsive to questions and was very firendly. We had a wonderful time with our friends and family. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful views of the inter coastal. 5 minutes ride to the beach. We walked there and back one day. Less than a mile! Love the screened in porch. Perfect and highly recommend.

Great House on Kiawah

Wonderful home on the marsh side of Kiawah Island, clean, very quiet cul-de-sac, with exceptionally private “back yard” of the river marsh. Fully stocked kitchen was great meeting place, as was the screened in back porch. Bedrooms were all very large and comfortable. Excellent place overall.

Stayed with a group of 6 friends for a wedding. Owner is super friendly and communicative and made sure I knew key details prior to the trip. Clean and comfy with lots of common areas, and the screened in porch with marsh views is great! Definitely a bit of a drive from groceries and food options, but that’s expected for Kiawah. Would stay again!
