Overall, it was a great place to stay! A really lovely property, very hidden and quiet. There was plenty of very comfortable and cozy blankets and bedding. There were a couple of small details that made it not the perfect stay. There were lots of very big spiders all around the property, inside and on the porches. Which I totally understand happens and is natural, however made it something that we had to watch out for. There was also a couple of small details, like the curtain rod in the main bedroom not properly secured into the wall, several dishes we initially pulled out were still a bit dirty, and a wad of sheets and towels still in the dryer all tangled up. The little details do really make a difference especially in the mindset of wanting to be on vacation.
Set on a quiet, dead end street, we found the house to be very comfortable, well maintained with lots a amenities and a wonderful large, full fenced back yard. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Cleanliness and maintenance is my number one priority after traveling for my entire career. This home was both as well as providing all of the comforts needed for a vacation home.
Beautifully appointed one story home. I highly recommend!
If I had a place this great I probably wouldn't share
Our short stay was excellent in every way, including the weather. The owner has gone above and beyond with attention to detail and the place was immaculate, well supplied with everything needed and more and in top shape and high quality. This is the place you don't even want to review because you know it will make it harder to get for yourself next time.
We had a great stay in this lovely home conveniently located to stores and beautiful beaches too. We were welcomed by a wonderful welcome basket. The home was spotless. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood at the end of a dead end street. We enjoyed the lovely back yard and had our breakfasts at the outdoor table. The beds and living room furniture were so very comfortable. Everything was well equipped. And the host was terrific. She was very responsive and timely. We would definitely go back! Loved it!
This is a lovely property in a very nice area, very quiet and has beautiful large pines all around. Added bonus of a frequent bald eagle sighting. The house is set up nicely for two couples and a kids room with bunk beds. It is perfect if you are bringing a dog. The yard is fully fenced and has very nice grass. Kitchen is large with a great island. The house also has a nice barbecue and a great deck which is just a great place to relax and read.
This house and property were amazing! Beautifully kept and decorated; would definitely be a dream home for us! The owners go above and beyond making sure their guests are well-cared for. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools and gadgets for any meal, there are plenty of towels and beach towels, high chair, Pack N Play with linens, sound machines and nightlights… all you could ever need for a family! We enjoyed utilizing their Alexa to play music for dance parties and playing their board games. My husband even taught the older two how to play chess! This home is right by downtown Freeland so it was in a super convenient location. We hope to come back again someday!
The home was perfect. The back yard was fully fenced and very private. The deer came to the fence and strolled past, the birds were singing, creating a relaxing oasis. Our dogs had a great time playing in the back yard and taking hikes across the island. The location was perfect for us as a place to be based for exploring each day. Close to shopping and places to eat if you did not want to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. We had a great time and would stay again.
The house is exactly as described, very cozy and clean, located into a private neighborhood. Actually, we were pleasantly surprised that the house looks much better in person than in the pictures. We had a great time there with our dog and we are already thinking about going back.
We really enjoyed this rental. The home is in very good condition and very new. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. We were traveling with a toddler and it was so nice to have a high chair and other kid friendly items. The house is very convenient to beaches, restaurants, Langley, Coupeville, Clinton and both ferries. The host was so easy to work with and very responsive. We would love to return when the weather is better!
Beautiful home! One of the nicest rentals we've ever stayed in! Felt very remote with modern amenities.
Fully fenced yard was great for our dog but keep an eye out for deer and a pair of bald eagles. Mutaza was a friendly host with prompt communication.
We had a wonderful long weekend here celebrating my wife's birthday. The house was clean, quiet, and provided all of the necessary amenities. It was a great jumping off point for lots of different local attractions. (Everything from garden centers to wineries to a meadery, the earth sanctuary, etc.). We saw lots of deer in the evenings and early mornings, and just enjoyed that feeling of being fully removed from our lives back at home. The bed was very comfortable, and the couch and blankets in the living room provided a very cozy spot for TV watching with our miniature schnauzer. The kitchen was also stocked with everything we needed to make several meals, and we especially appreciated having access to both a drip coffee machine and a nespresso. The property manager was very responsive if we had any inquiries, and made sure we had everything we needed. All in all, we missed it the second we left and hope to be back soon.
