Absolutely beautiful and comfortable!

This is a beautiful property! Our family loved the decor and comfortable beds. The outdoor pond and waterfall made for a lovely breakfast on the front porch. We would love to come back❤️

Wonderful house! Wonderful location!

We stayed at Anchor House on Whidbey Island in late December. The house is so unique! Beautiful built-ins in the bedroom upstairs and an oar for a railing. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Freeland property and hosts

Beautifully renovated property with lots of character. The anchor house has lots of space, beautiful roof deck and yard and all amenities. The host are extremely responsive and helpful.

Perfect Whidbey Island getaway

This is our 2nd stay at the Anchor House! We love everything about it, the beachy décor, ease of walking to the beach, extremely clean, rooftop deck with table/chairs and a great size yard. It has everything you would want in a rental: a bbq, fully equipped kitchen with great knives, extra blankets and Karen, the owner, is so nice and extremely responsive.

Charming, historic home w a short pleasant walk to the beach. This home was comfortable and had lots of space to spread out or hang together. Upstairs deck was perfect for a meal with a view and porch w the Adirondak chairs was our favorite spot to sit and visit. The beds were comfy and the baths were updated and roomy. The beach was great for walking, sand castle building and shell hunting. We found some really big shells! Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyable historic home

This is a very nice historic home a very short walk to the beach overlooking Mutiny Bay. Stayed here with my family. Had a nice room for my kiddo with books and toys. Beautiful upstairs room with a walkout rooftop porch. We stayed over the 4th and had a front row seat to the neighborhood fireworks show. Also had a wonderful front yard garden to enjoy.

Amazing beach get-away!

What an amazing home with water views. A quick walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes, too! The home was the perfect place to enjoy drinks on the deck and everything you need to cook is there (we grabbed local seafood almost every night). Be sure to stop at all the local farm stands along the way or the Saturday farmer's market to really get a local feel. We will definitely be back.

Old Farm House

Love the property! Has just about everything you need! The owners communicated quickly. The only thing I would suggest is if you aren’t use to sleep with no AC, bring you own fan. There are two fan in the house or you can sleep with the windows open. I’d highly recommend staying here! It reminded me of a house I grow up in.
