Located in a private community in Corolla, Spindrift is in the perfect location near many stores and the beach! Experience what the Northern Outer Banks has to offer! This beautiful home sits on a 1-acre lot and is within walking distance of the beach! "Bikini Bottom" is perfect for the entire family, and with the sister home, "On Sail" being right next door accommodating a large family is more convenient than ever! Bikini Bottom is very spacious and has vaulted ceilings, a double-sided stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, and plenty of deck space to enjoy your cup of coffee! Relax in its 2 spacious master bedrooms, one featuring a jetted tub!

Bottom Level: Catch a tan or take a dip in the private pool, soak in the poolside hot tub and even enjoy a cocktail at the poolside tiki bar!

Mid-level: On the mid-level, you'll enter the foyer. From there, you will find all four bedrooms. A large king master bedroom with a flat-screen smart TV and private deck! There is also a queen bedroom with a flat-screen smart TV. A room with two bunk beds, a smart TV, and deck access and another bedroom that has a bunk bed with a trundle and a single bed with a smart TV are joined with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Top Level: This level features vaulted juniper ceilings and a beautiful double-sided wood-burning fireplace. There is an oversized L-shaped sofa, perfect for watching the game or dozing off to your favorite show or morning on the large flat screen with a DVD player. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances with plenty of room for every cook! There is a dining area for 10 and additional seating at the bar for 6. Enjoy the ocean breezes on the expansive top-level decks.

Home was clean and space was nice. Great proximity to the beach. Just needs some updates and some safety issues looked into. Some light switches were iffy and oven could not be used due to a wiring issue (maintenance came and checked it out ). Also needs new pool liner. We very much enjoyed our vacation here and with updates , would stay again

The house seems to need a lot of repair and maybe a little freshing up. Its decor is old and some of the door locks didn't work. Small improvements go a long long way.

House was beautiful, clean, and at a good location from the beach. Some outdoor furniture was broken, but I'm sure it was due to no one reporting it. I'm sure now that they are aware it will be taken care of! Ashley and the maintenance crew were quick to respond to our concerns. I recommend a stay there.

Shoreline very responsive. House outdated. Limited supplies for cooking. Beds were not comfortable. Great location though and what we needed given we had family staying at house next door which worked out great. Pool was very warm. Beach not crowded due to private beach access which was really nice. Overall if you need two houses would recommend this and spin 1.

Perfect OBX Getaway Spot!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was in a great, convenient location — super quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything we needed. It was spotless when we arrived, which instantly made it feel comfortable and welcoming. The pool was big and well-maintained, and the furniture throughout the house was modern and really nice — gave the place a fresh, upscale feel. Only downside: the beds could definitely be more comfortable, and the bunk bed squeaks a lot (just something to keep in mind if you've got light sleepers). But honestly? Everything else made up for it. This house is a gem, and we're already planning to come back. Highly recommend.

Could use some updates on bottom floor. Met our needs and all issues handled in a very timely manner. Very close to beach which is one of the reasons we chose this house.

Nice house-Easy walk to the beach

Very nice house. Was very clean upon check in. Pool and hot tub are very clean and we used them alot. The kitchen is fairly equipped. I would suggest the owners provide sharper knives for food prep. The only real disadvantage we thought was the fact that there is no way to acess the home from the pool area. You have to walk around to the front of the house to the front stairs. That might be a bit inconvenient for families with small children,especially to acess a bathroom. Other than that, I would rent this house again.

Great vacation home for a family or large group. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms . Spacious decks with outdoor seating . Wonderful pool and hot tub . Beautiful neighborhood and private lot . Short walk to the beach. Great WiFi connection and tv's in every room. We prepared some amazing meals in the kitchen and on the Weber grill. Great vacation home and great experience with Shoreline OBX Vacation Rental's.

This house needs a little TLC on the inside, the paint needs to be touched up. The kitchen as multiple drawers that are broken, and the back is busted off one of the ground level cabinets. There is not a full set of pots & pans and only one cookie sheet. The owner charges a pet deposit, he needs to use it to clean the carpets to clean up after renters who had their dogs wet on the carpets. The upper bunk bed railings bolts are stripped out and falling out of the bed. The pool area and hot tub were very nice. We had a infant and a 2 year old and the walk to the beach was not bad.

Best beach vacation ever!

Located in the charming community of Corolla, Spin-2 fulfilled every wish and dream. My 15 friends and family members (not all at the same time!) enjoyed the close-by beach access, the gorgeous beach, fabulous restaurants (Urban Kitchen was our favorite!) and easy access to shopping. Our house was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the birds chirping and occasionally seeing a deer and bunny rabbits! This is a wonderful home for families. Never having been to the Outer Banks, I am so happy that I chose to spend a month here. This was a dream vacation!

Relaxing week!

The home was perfect for our needs! The pool and hot tub were wonderful and larger than expected! The only complaint I have is that I spent money on gear and there was already enough gear at the house. And also that there were no pots to boil corn on the cob and no measuring cup but we made due!

The property mgmt. was very friendly and helpful. The property layout was very good for our family. Parts of the property were dated and needed upgrading. The kitchen cookware, including griddle need upgrading. Decks, pool and hot tub appear to be properly maintained.

Exterior of home was in excellent condition, new decks and pool that was clean. The interior of the home could use some simple updating, especially the kitchen. The kitchen is lacking basic tools to aide in food preparation, such as: a working toaster and measuring cups.

Smelly, Dirty, and Completely Neglected!!

We appreciated how helpful Shoreline OBX was in addressing our concerns, but this review is specifically about the house itself. Pros: • Great location • Close walk to the beach • Nice pool area Cons: • The odor is unbearable and overwhelming from the moment you walk in. It never goes away and makes the entire stay uncomfortable. • The house was dirty on arrival — I had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean it myself. • Old, outdated home with no care or comfort. • Furniture is stained, worn, and carries such a strong odor that sitting or sleeping on it is nearly impossible. • The mattresses are old, sagging, and musty — the smell and condition made them very uncomfortable to sleep on. • Bathrooms are outdated, dingy, and in need of renovation. Overall: While the area and pool were enjoyable, the house itself was distasteful — old, smelly, and uncomfortable. The odor alone makes the property unlivable, and it is clear the ownership does not care about the condition of this home. Honestly, even a 1-star motel would be a better option than staying here — unless you plan on sleeping in the pool.

Carolla house , mixed bag.

The location of the property was wonderful. The property was clean inside upon arrival. Some of the appliances need replacing. The toaster only has two slots working and is a very cheap model. For a home that sleeps 12, it needs to be replaced. The pool was dirty upon arrival. A request to have it cleaned was not responded to. The couch needs to be cleaned or sprayed with Fabreeze as it had an odor.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. While time of year was a bit cool, there was plenty of sun and some great days on the beach. Pool was quite chilly but clean and good for gathering. I was a little disappointed in the state of repair in certain areas. When we arrived there were broken chair pieces from the bar stools and a broken letter “H” from the wall (THE BEACH signage) placed on the top of the banister. Not sure if tenants or cleaners did that. We put them on the dining room table upon our departure. The screen in my master bedroom did not have a handle and was not easy to open, so i was not able to easily sit on the downstairs porch as a get away. Drapes were half-hung in the master bedroom. The screens at the front of the house and window cranks were missing, so hard to get a cross flow of air going and the screens at the back of the house had holes in them. The air conditioning on the top floor did not function well-always warm during the day despite closing drapes, etc… The top to the kitchen trash can was cracked/broken but still usable, and the toaster left hand knob was missing. Lastly-the water and the ice were not functioning on the refrigerator. I say this still with the thought that we had a great time relaxing on a much needed and long awaited vacation. I can imagine what it takes to maintain a home of that size and climate, so raising awareness. Thank you for sharing it with us!
