This family-friendly condo is located within the Sea Colony resort, which features a half-mile of private beach, 12 pools (two indoor), world-class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, a community shuttle, and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world.

The open floor plan of this well-appointed condo seamlessly combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one space. The living room boasts gorgeous navy blue and white accents and decor, adding a coastal touch to your stay. Kick back and relax in front of the large flatscreen TV with cable, and if you are visiting during the colder months, the wood-burning fireplace will keep you all warm in the blink of an eye. The living room opens up to a waterfront deck with plenty of seating, including an outdoor dining area. The kitchen is complete with modern appliances, including a Samsung refrigerator, a double oven, a five-burner stovetop, microwave, Wolf toaster, and more! The dining table seats six and there are three extra stools at the breakfast bar.

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Very nice unit

We really enjoyed our stay. The home had a lot of updated furniture and appliances. It was very comfortable. The location was great as we had access to pools, the tram, parking, fitness center and fishing (at a couple of ponds). We had a great time and look forward to coming back.

This was the third Sea Colony property we’ve stayed at and the most beautiful. We loved the screened in porch and full lake view from the living room and kitchen. Also loved Sea Colony property - this condo was close to the pool. Overall the stay was great and we will be back.

Perfect place for a weekend get away.

This place was a perfect place for a long weekend. It was myself, my wife, my wife’s parents, and my wife’s grandmother and this place fit us all perfectly! It’s in a really quiet and charming park of the sea colony neighborhood with lots to do. We were able to enjoy the sea colony beach and pool all days.

Sea Colony Summer Vacation Rental

The community is very nice. The unit was not as clean as it should have been. The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable.

This is a very nice unit. Very good size for a family. Nicely furnished and updated. Couple minor things that seem obvious, but evidently are not.... 1) There is a bedroom directly facing into the main living area. For whatever reason, that bedroom door has windows on sides, and there are no curtains or window coverings! Kind of odd to have a bedroom that doesn't allow for privacy. These should be able to be covered. 2) None of the 3 bedrooms have a mirror! Again, odd choice. These two items aside, the unit is very nice and I like that it doesn't have a lot of clutter or personal items. Would definitely stay again, but those couple of changes seem essential.

frustrating

i'm happy to update this review. But right now it has been 2 weeks since the property manager said they would reimburse me for one night due to the second bathroom shower not being available for use for our entire stay. This was a challenge for 5 people trying to shower after the beach and get out the door to dinner. We ended up going out in shifts via uber as we didn't want to make our entire party late for our evening engagements. When we arrived, there was a sticky on the master shower door that said "do not use. vendor has been called." When i notified the property manager, they were not aware of the issue. They committed to a night free as they understanding the showere was not accessible. the shower door was off its rack and couldn't be closed/opened. VRBO needs to deliver on their commitment.

Great Sea Colony house

4.5 stars This was a great rental. The house was totally updated and very, very clean. The primary bed was comfortable (we did not try the others). The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars was because there were a couple of little funky things. We thought it odd the primary bedroom did not have a dresser and three days into our stay, we realized the bed had underneath storage. It really was not apparent. There probably should have been a note. I also had to call vacasa because we could not figure out how to work the roman shades in the bedroom - and we have them in our house. Vacasa sent someone out who also had problems figuring it out, but he finally reached up under the top of the valance and manually rolled the shade up a few inches. Then we could work the shade from the bottom. It seemed the shades were pulled down too far. I was worried about breaking the shades and so probably would not have done that. Finally, there was something wrong with the tv in the primary (the sound and picture kept going in and out). The person who came out for the shade, said he did not get a work order for the tv, but would look at it. He could not get the tv to work, but said vacasa would probably send the tv guy out. We never received a notification that someone came out and it was not until the day before we left, that I tried the tv again and it seemed to work. None of these are big deals and we otherwise loved the house, but there should have been better communication with us.
