Relax in the fully equipped villa with heated pool and with great attention to detail and enjoy yourself picked oranges and lemons from the large, private garden with a cozy breakfast on the terrace.

Activities:
The Algarve is a very well developed region with a wide variety of possible activities. In the vicinity of Casa Tamaris there are many larger and smaller beaches that invite you to relax, swim and walk. Also on the larger beaches there are offers for jet skiing, kite surfing or for a tour by boat through the caves. There is also a very nice hiking route along the cliffs between the beach of Benagil and Praia da Marinha. Within 20-30 minutes by car you can reach a larger water park, several larger and smaller cities with beautiful old towns and shopping arcades (Portimao) or historical sights (Silves Castle). For a day trip, a trip to the most southwestern point of Europe (Cabo de São Vicente) including a trip along the west coast, where you can discover hidden bays with beautiful beaches in a breathtaking panorama, is worthwhile. On the other hand, the Monchique Mountains with the Foia Mountain are also worth a trip, especially for lovers of hiking. In the town of Monchique, with winding streets and a beautiful view of the Algarve, it is worth trying some hearty regional specialties in a rustic restaurant.

Family Getaway

This was the perfect accomodation for my husband and I and our adult children/spouses. We used the pool everyday and then took an Uber/Taxi to town for dinner. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed fresh figs picked from the trees. We called the mgmt company with questions/requests and they responded immediately. We would definitely return again!

Wonderful stay

Spent a week there with my wife and daughter and all was great. The pool was a pleasure to have to cool off. Our laundry was done by a local person 3 days per week. The outdoor grill was fantastic and we made good use of it. All in all a great place to spend a week in the Algarve.

Very nice clean and beautiful place

However getting taxis is a myth and there is no local supermarket which is out of the villa owners control but we still had a lovely time!

Wonderful stay

It looks exactly like what you see on the internet. Quiet villa area with some cats stopping by. Nice garden. Host was very helpful and gave very good information about everything. Not everything is brand new, but it is clean and well maintained and very well equipped - not like an accommodation rented only to tourists, but more like a much loved family holiday home where tourists are also welcome. To name a few things - there are sharp knives, a lot of dishes and cutlery, dishwasher, good WiFi, Sat-TV, comfortable beds, terrace and pool are wonderful private. We want to come back :).

Just Brilliant!

We stayed at Casa Tamaris for 11 nights in July 2024. A party of 6 including grandparents, parents and kids. I would highly recommend this 'holiday house' to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional - regular visits ensuring clean towels and clean rooms felt like 5* treatment. The rooms are lovely, and the gardens and pool area beautiful. There is always an option for shade from the hot sun, and numerous areas to sit. A car is essential for exploring the area, however a beach and shops are within walking distance in comfy shoes! For those of you who love to walk, there are beautiful cliff paths nearby. Our host Martin was always available, responsive and very very helpful. THANK YOU

Lovely place to stay for a family vacation

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Casa Tamaris Villa. The property fully fulfilled our expectations. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and sliding door to/from the pool witch was very nice and comfortable with a bigger company! AC is in every bedroom as well. It has a very nice garden around the house so the patio/ pool area is very private. We stayed there in July so no heating for the pool was needed, the water temp. was 25 - 28 C. The beach is 15 - 20 min walk or 5 min by car. The area itself is very nice and clean. There is a long walking path on the rocks next to the ocean with the beautiful views to enjoy. The owner Martin was very kind to answer all our questions prior the trip. The one thing that would be useful to know is that one bedroom does not have a direct access to the living room and kitchen, which means that either you have to pass the other bedroom or you can walk in from the outside.

Portuguese Paradise

The property was exactly as advertised and was an amazing place to spend a week with our family. Martin was very responsive and helpful during our stay and the house had all of the amenities a family could ask for. The communication was exceptional especially after being in other VRBOs before hand and having awful communication. Martin was always available, responsive and extremely helpful. We loved everything about this property, the pool, the comfortable beds, the AC, the beautiful rooftop. Cleanliness was exceptional. Our 3 kids loved the pool and the garden and we even arranged to have our laundry done for us at the house. One thing to note is that you probably need a car in order to visit all the spectacular beaches, as the house is located in a beautiful, quiet residential area. Not far from the beach tho- but a car allows you to really explore all Carvoerio has to offer. 10/10 stay, couldn’t recommend it enough. Clean, safe, spacious. Thank you for a perfect week.

Villa in schöner, ruhiger Umgebung

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben die gut ausgestattete Villa und den beheizten Pool sehr genossen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man sehr nahe am Zentrum oder sogar zu Fuß schnell am Strand oder im Restaurant. Einzig die steile Einfahrt ist nicht zu empfehlen. Besser parkt man vor dem Haus. Wer Grillen möchte hat das Problem, dass sich der Grill auf der Rückseite des Hauses befindet. Einen Grill im Poolbereich auf der Terrasse hätte ich schöner gefunden. Im Wohnzimmer ist ein großes TV vorhanden, auf welchem sich Netflix, Amazon usw. nutzen lassen. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

schönes Haus mit Swimmingpool und Garten

wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Check-in und Check-out war problemlos, der Vermieter war sehr gut erreichbar und hat uns viele Informationen über Haus und Umgebung zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, war makellos sauber und verfügt über einen schönen Garten, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich und einen heizbaren Swimmingpool. Strände in der Umgebung sind ebenso wie Wandermöglichkeiten nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen.

Felt like coming home

Carvoeiro is our favourite place to visit in Portugal and holds a special place in my family’s heart. This was our first holiday back to this area in 6 years so we wanted somewhere that felt like a traditional villa and to us Casa Taramis ticked all the boxes. A lovely, clean, well presented villa. Martin the host was very quick at responding and happy to answer any questions I had and supplied lots of information. Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderfully relaxing two weeks at Casa Tamaris. The villa is in a quiet, residential area, not far to walk to the nearest beach. Carvoeiro was only a 35min walk away (and we used to get a taxi back again in the evening). Lots of superb restaurants in Carvoeiro to dine in and beautiful walks to explore the coastline. The villa is well equipped, peaceful and the pool is nice and large for all to enjoy. The gardens are just beautiful, especially the trees. Just a shame we had to come home!

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen hier sehr genossen.Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer war problemlos und zuverlässig. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere in der Küche werden auch ambitionierte Köche wenig vermissen. Wir haben uns trotz des Renovierungsbedarfs an der einen oder anderen Stelle sehr wohlgefühlt. Dazu hat auch die sehr private Lage des Hauses beigetragen. Sehr geschätzt haben wir den geheizten Pool und natürlich auch den frisch gepressten Orangensaft von Früchten aus dem Garten. Wir werden bestimmt wieder einmal buchen.

Temporada incrível no Algarve!

Alugamos a casa por duas semanas no mês de Agosto e adoramos. Desde o inicio a comunicação com o Martin foi ótima. A casa é como nas fotos, bem localizada e com uma ótima estrutura. O único ponto negativo é que dois quartos são interligados, a passagem de um quarto é feita pelo outro. Para nós não foi um incômodo. pois estávamos em família. Passamos ótimos dias em família! Obrigada Martin, por toda a ajuda.

Casa muito acolhedora, tudo a funcionar bem e passámos umas belas e tranquilas férias. Apenas aviso que o acesso interior a um dos quartos tem de ser feito passando por outro quarto. Para nós não fez diferença mas fica o aviso.

Relaxing Stay

We had a great stay at Martin's place. The house was exactly as pictured. Great pool, lots of seating options outside to enjoy time with family, close to all and in a quiet and relaxing family neighborhood. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday!

Tolle Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Alles sehr sauber und ruhige Lage. Beim Auschecken jedoch war es sehr störend, dass in Zeiten von Corona bereits Putzfrau und Gärtner ( mit sehr lauten Laubbläser) bereits eine Stunde vor der mitgeteilten Abreisezeit auf dem Abwesen da waren.
