One of two similar second floor apartments that could be rented together if available.
Steps from some of the areas best restaurants, bars, shops and The Grand theater. Downtown restaurants within a short walking distance include the highly rated Provender Kitchen, Finns Irish Pub, Airline Brewing, Fogtown Beer Garden, Margaritas, Union River Lobster House and Serendib. John Edwards Market is just a block away for a great assortment of wine and cheeses as well as grocery needs. Downtown has become known in the area for its eclectic mix of shops with something for everyone. Walking distance to the harbor and library. Downtown Ellsworth is conveniently located in the center of the areas best attractions such as Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Lamoine and Surry to name a few.
Although there is not a private parking spot the building has public lots on both sides. The main lot is located directly in front of city hall, police and fire making its location extremely safe. EV parking and charging is approximately 500 ft.

Great Apartment

Very clean, quiet and central to so many things in the area. It’s on a busy street but the noise was minimal at night. Do not hesitate to rent this unit if you’re going to sight see this part of Maine!

Fall Acadia visit

Staying in Ellsworth was perfect! It’s near Acadia and not crowded like Bar Harbor. The city is walkable, and we enjoyed exploring the downtown area. There’s a great lobster place nearby that we would watch the lobster cooking at. The apartment is super clean. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable we have had at a rental. This was perfect after long days of hiking.

Lovely property…look no further

This apartment is newly renovated with lovely finishes. It is super clean,comfortable and spacious. Located in downtown Ellsworth you can walk to shops, restaurants cafes. Hosts are very responsive. Would love to stay here again next year!

Maine Vacation

This apartment was great!! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The check-was easy and parking was close. It was a very comfortable place to come back to each night after visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. If ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here!

Great location, Charming Apartment

We wanted to stay just outside the crowds in Bar Harbor, Maine and Elsworth was perfect... a charming town only 15 minutes from Acadia National Park and about equal distance to Bangor where we attended a fabulous James Taylor Concert in their Amphitheater. As older adults the only negative was the stairway to the second floor apartment with suitcases for our 8-day stay.

The apartments were absolutely beautiful- very nicely decorated and fully stocked with all you need for a wonderful stay- right down to the fabulous hair dryer. We cannot say enough good things. Even the on street parking was so easy. Hoping to return again soon!!

Awesome town of Ellsworth

The apartment was like staying at home, beautiful and very clean. Felt comfortable staying here and coming back to the apartment after a long day of exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Wonderful restaurants, walking distance from the apartment . Would love to stay here again when we come back again. Which was our first time!! We loved it. Hosts are very receptive and answers any questions within only a few minutes. They were great!!!

Ellsworth stay

Well appointed and very pleasant apartment and location. Ellsworth itself is an inviting little town as well. Easy 30 minutes to/from Acadia. The location is on Main Street with bedroom at front so one of us was surprised by traffic sounds the first morning, but the other never noticed. Solution: a foam earplug! If we returned to this area, we would certainly stay here again. Thank you.

Ideal apartment near everything

This apartment is everything advertised. It is very comfortable and spotless. Linda was an excellent hostess and assisted immediately with an entry snafu. My wife and I spent 5 days hiking in Acadia and one evening in Bangor at the Luke Combs concert. The nearby restaurants are terrific and we fully enjoyed the local flavors and beer. If you prefer to cook, the kitchen is well appointed. My only wish…an iron and ironing board. I highly recommend this apartment for any couple or three some interested in exploring this part of Maine.

Home Away From Home Near Acadia

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our quiet stay away from the crowded streets of Bar Harbor. Linda and Hans did a beautiful job renovating this cozy apartment located in the heart of downtown Ellsworth. The apartment is just steps away from numerous shops and restaurants. Our favorite was the Union River Lobster Pot. The apartment decor is super inviting and the apartment includes all the comforts of home. The living space is extremely comfortable and provides the perfect refuge after a long day of hiking in nearby Acadia National Park. It’s also just a short drive to the Schoodic Peninsula, Northeast Harbor, and the iconic Bass Harbor Lighthouse. The king-size bed is super comfortable and my wife and I both commented on how incredible we slept each night. The smart TVs were great to stream from and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. The apartment served as a great home away from home and made our vacation that much more enjoyable. We highly recommend this property!

Quaint town close to Acadia with all the amenities you could want.

Beautiful apartment that is perfect for two people. There are plenty of shops and restaurants that you can easily walk to from the appartment. The hosts were gracious and accommodating and easy to contact. I would recommend this location to anyone traveling in Maine who wants to experience Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor which are a less than an hour away.

Fun, yet restful vacation to MDI

This was a vacation in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We wanted a place where we had space, a kitchen, comfortable surroundings and good proximity to Acadia National Park. This sweet apartment fit the bill on all accounts. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and central to all of the spots we hoped to visit.
