Private getaway in a beautiful neighborhood

Welcome to your private studio with a separate entrance. It’s a basement studio newly build with all the amenities. Kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave, an air fryer with a blackout curtain that’s perfect for a comfortable night sleep. A full size bathroom with build in blue tooth speaker. A comfortable king size bed that sleep two people, and central heating and air conditioning. There is a fire pit outside of the studio with a hanging hammock swing. If you want to roast marshmallows or enjoy a cup of wine or coffee, the scenery is beautiful and serenity, and if you’re lucky? you can be accompany by the stars at night when the weather is nice here in the Pacific Northwest

Once u have the key, walk through the gate, and follow the concrete path and it will lead u to ur room on ur right ☺️

The place had warm colors and felt very welcoming. The bathroom was large and the shower was great and had shampoo and nice soap. Not the place if you plan to cook, but had an air fryer and microwave. I asked the host for an outdoor chair and she responded immediately. Overall great place and value for the money. I would stay here again.

The room was clean, with plenty of fresh towels. It was a good place for me, as I was close to the events for which I came to Oregon. The motion activated lighting to get down to the cute rooms was much appreciated. The view from the glass doors was so beautiful. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

There is a picture that looks outOver a view. Doesn’t exist. The access to the property is treacherous. No hand rails and uneven ground. I fell twice. Inside the studio there is a slope in the floor. These issues need to be fixed before they open to anyon else. Would never go back. The hosts areLovely

Salem studio

This was a super comfy place to stay in a super convenient location. Check in was easy, the host responded so quickly to questions I had, and the property was quiet and peaceful.

Access to the unit was not easy. Steep and uneven walkways. Didn’t have much soap and towels and washcloths were limited.

Regarding the towels, additional towels and washcloths are available in the cupboard to the left of the sink—we apologize if this wasn’t clearly communicated during your stay. As for the soap, we provide full-size soap for our guests and replace it regularly; however, if it appears low or is running out, we’re always happy to provide a new one upon request. Bring earplugs

This is a small basement apartment, below a house. The apartment is well done, and cozy. There are two major factors that made me rate this as less than ideal. First, there’s not seem to be any soundproofing, and so I could hear every single word and step of the people living upstairs. There was lots of yelling, and at one point it seemed as if people were exercising or dancing, it was very loud. Second, although it is advertised as having central air and heat, but that is not true. The temperature in the apartment is controlled by the host, and the guest has no control over that. It was extremely hot when I was in the house. Although the pictures suggest this is a little place in the country, it is actually a house in a suburban neighborhood.

Sorry u were having a bad experience from Staying at my place, however, it is a basement studio as it has advertised in the listing, their will be some noise but we respect our guess n would not have dance n yell as u have stated in the review. I realize u have had a horrible travel Experience before u even came to town n I have done my best to accommodate you in every way. Change ur check in date, even advise u in how to get around because u have realize ur license has expired when u landed at the airport , adjust the thermostat for Ur comfort even if we r uncomfortable. You said it’s not cold enough we offer u an extra fan n yet u refuse. I have extra heating n cooling option for guess if they needed. I hope u will find a more accommodating place for ur travel next time.

Decent stay

Overall the place is quaint. It's in the basement of a house so you hear the people walking, running above you but not too much conversation. The neighborhood is quiet. Not sure it was worth the price I paid but it was comfortable and met our needs. There's a washer and dryer in the unit but they aren't plugged in. I liked that they supplied the fridge and some cups, forks and coffee but since the flooring is carpeted I worried about making anything or prepping food for fear of dropping stuff so we mostly ate out. You don't have control of the heat or AC but I felt it was comfortable enough. I was a bit cold at night and early morning but there was an extra blanket and under the covers it was comfortable. I would have liked a bedside lamp on each side and extension cords by the bed to make it easy to charge phones.

Nice little place

This is a great place for 2 who are visiting Salem and just need a place to lay their head at the end of the day. It is attached to a house and is a little studio type place.
